docs: restructure observability navigation and overview (#49505)
<!-- CURSOR_AGENT_PR_BODY_BEGIN --> ## Stack Draft stack extracted from `docs/monitoring`. Merge bottom-up. The troubleshooting *catalog* rewrite (`content/troubleshooting` and the Diagnosing UI) stays out of scope. 1. #49503 move inspect and advisors 2. #49501 split Studio logs from ClickHouse queries 3. #49500 treat reports as signal dashboards 4. #49502 add Observe the data hub 5. #49506 add agent setup components 6. #49504 add hire-an-agent templates 7. **#49505** restructure observability nav, overview, Detecting, and flatten Observe the data ← **this PR** ## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Docs update. Top layer in the observability stack. ## What is the current behavior? The section is still titled Monitoring and Debugging, with a Debugging / Monitoring split that does not match the new pages. The debugging guide is still the master layer-isolation + symptom table. Observe the data is split into “what data” vs “where to observe it,” which duplicates the source pages. ## What is the new behavior? - Section title is Observability - Overview groups Observe the data, Detect and resolve, Hire an agent, and Export - **Observe the data is flattened by source.** Logs, Metrics API, Database, Advisors, and Reports each list where to read that source. There is no separate MCP/API/CLI/Studio nav group. - **Observe vs Detecting:** Observe is the catalog (what exists, how to access it). Detecting is how to *use* those sources to pick up a Health / Security / Performance / Usage signal. Named errors skip to Diagnosing. - Studio Logs sits under Logs. Reports sits beside the other sources. - Troubleshooting stays in the global menu and also appears as Diagnosing under Detect and resolve ## Additional context This is the last PR in the stack. Together the seven PRs reconstruct the `docs/monitoring` observability IA and guide content, without shipping the troubleshooting catalog overhaul. <!-- CURSOR_AGENT_PR_BODY_END --> <div><a href="https://cursor.com/agents/bc-a3cb5ece-925b-4046-b58a-5d69e9a9d794?cursor_ref=pr_footer&cursor_cta=open_in_web"><picture><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-dark.png"><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-light.png"><img alt="Open in Web" width="114" height="28" src="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-dark.png"></picture></a> <a href="https://cursor.com/background-agent?bcId=bc-a3cb5ece-925b-4046-b58a-5d69e9a9d794&cursor_ref=pr_footer&cursor_cta=open_in_cursor"><picture><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-dark.png"><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-light.png"><img alt="Open in Cursor" width="131" height="28" src="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-dark.png"></picture></a> </div> --------- Co-authored-by: Cursor Agent <cursoragent@cursor.com> Co-authored-by: Saxon Fletcher <SaxonF@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: Nik Richers <nik@validmind.ai> |

docs: add hire-an-agent templates for observability routines (#49504)
<!-- CURSOR_AGENT_PR_BODY_BEGIN --> ## Stack Draft stack extracted from `docs/monitoring`. Merge bottom-up. Troubleshooting / debugging-guide rewrite is out of scope. 1. #49503 move inspect and advisors 2. #49501 split Studio logs from ClickHouse queries 3. #49500 treat reports as signal dashboards 4. #49502 add Observe the data hub 5. #49506 add agent setup components 6. **#49504** add hire-an-agent templates ← **this PR** 7. #49505 restructure observability nav and overview ## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Docs update. Sixth layer in the observability stack. ## What is the current behavior? Humans and agents have no packaged, copy-paste observability routines to run in their own harness. ## What is the new behavior? - Hire an agent hub plus Doctor, Security officer, Personal trainer, and Accountant - Each page is a prompt + schedule + harness setup (Claude, Codex, Cursor) - MCP security guidance covers unattended read-only monitoring on production ## Additional context These pages are the agent-facing templates from the prototype. #49505 puts them in the Observability overview and sidebar. <!-- CURSOR_AGENT_PR_BODY_END --> <div><a href="https://cursor.com/agents/bc-a3cb5ece-925b-4046-b58a-5d69e9a9d794?cursor_ref=pr_footer&cursor_cta=open_in_web"><picture><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-dark.png"><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-light.png"><img alt="Open in Web" width="114" height="28" src="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-dark.png"></picture></a> <a href="https://cursor.com/background-agent?bcId=bc-a3cb5ece-925b-4046-b58a-5d69e9a9d794&cursor_ref=pr_footer&cursor_cta=open_in_cursor"><picture><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-dark.png"><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-light.png"><img alt="Open in Cursor" width="131" height="28" src="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-dark.png"></picture></a> </div> --------- Co-authored-by: Cursor Agent <cursoragent@cursor.com> Co-authored-by: Saxon Fletcher <SaxonF@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: Steven Eubank <eubank.steven88@gmail.com> |

docs: add reusable monitoring agent setup components (#49506)
<!-- CURSOR_AGENT_PR_BODY_BEGIN --> ## Stack Draft stack extracted from `docs/monitoring`. Merge bottom-up. Troubleshooting / debugging-guide rewrite is out of scope. 1. #49503 move inspect and advisors 2. #49501 split Studio logs from ClickHouse queries 3. #49500 treat reports as signal dashboards 4. #49502 add Observe the data hub 5. **#49506** add agent setup components ← **this PR** 6. #49504 add hire-an-agent templates 7. #49505 restructure observability nav and overview ## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Docs app feature (MDX components + markdown export). Fifth layer in the observability stack. ## What is the current behavior? There is no shared way to render a monitoring agent prompt, schedule, and Claude/Codex/Cursor setup instructions in both HTML and generated markdown. ## What is the new behavior? - `AgentSetup` and `AgentWatchSchedule` MDX components, registered for HTML and markdown export - Shared `monitoring-agents` data (cadence, prompt ids, harness steps) - Opt-in `AiPrompt` markdown export (`includeInMarkdown`) so quickstarts stay HTML-only - Optional content-listing `subtitle` for schedule labels on cards No agent guide pages yet — those land in #49504 so this PR stays a reviewable code change. ## Additional context Markdown schema handlers share the same data module as the React components. <!-- CURSOR_AGENT_PR_BODY_END --> <div><a href="https://cursor.com/agents/bc-a3cb5ece-925b-4046-b58a-5d69e9a9d794?cursor_ref=pr_footer&cursor_cta=open_in_web"><picture><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-dark.png"><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-light.png"><img alt="Open in Web" width="114" height="28" src="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-dark.png"></picture></a> <a href="https://cursor.com/background-agent?bcId=bc-a3cb5ece-925b-4046-b58a-5d69e9a9d794&cursor_ref=pr_footer&cursor_cta=open_in_cursor"><picture><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-dark.png"><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-light.png"><img alt="Open in Cursor" width="131" height="28" src="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-dark.png"></picture></a> </div> --------- Co-authored-by: Cursor Agent <cursoragent@cursor.com> Co-authored-by: Saxon Fletcher <SaxonF@users.noreply.github.com> |

docs: add Observe the data hub for logs, metrics, and advisors (#49502)
<!-- CURSOR_AGENT_PR_BODY_BEGIN --> ## Stack Draft stack extracted from `docs/monitoring`. Merge bottom-up. Troubleshooting / debugging-guide rewrite is out of scope. 1. #49503 move inspect and advisors 2. #49501 split Studio logs from ClickHouse queries 3. #49500 treat reports as signal dashboards 4. **#49502** add Observe the data hub ← **this PR** 5. #49506 add agent setup components 6. #49504 add hire-an-agent templates 7. #49505 restructure observability nav and overview ## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Docs update. Fourth layer in the observability stack. ## What is the current behavior? There is no single page that maps what you can observe (logs, metrics, database, advisors) to where you query it (MCP, API, CLI, Studio). ## What is the new behavior? Adds `/guides/monitoring-and-debugging/access-data` as that hub, with content listings and nav. Inspect and Query and filter logs now point here for MCP/CLI context. ## Additional context This page is the spine of the new observability IA. Later PRs add agent templates and restructure the sidebar around it. <!-- CURSOR_AGENT_PR_BODY_END --> <div><a href="https://cursor.com/agents/bc-a3cb5ece-925b-4046-b58a-5d69e9a9d794?cursor_ref=pr_footer&cursor_cta=open_in_web"><picture><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-dark.png"><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-light.png"><img alt="Open in Web" width="114" height="28" src="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-dark.png"></picture></a> <a href="https://cursor.com/background-agent?bcId=bc-a3cb5ece-925b-4046-b58a-5d69e9a9d794&cursor_ref=pr_footer&cursor_cta=open_in_cursor"><picture><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-dark.png"><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-light.png"><img alt="Open in Cursor" width="131" height="28" src="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-dark.png"></picture></a> </div> --------- Co-authored-by: Cursor Agent <cursoragent@cursor.com> Co-authored-by: Saxon Fletcher <SaxonF@users.noreply.github.com> |

docs: split Studio logs from ClickHouse log queries (#49501)
<!-- CURSOR_AGENT_PR_BODY_BEGIN --> ## Stack Draft stack extracted from `docs/monitoring`. Merge bottom-up. Troubleshooting / debugging-guide rewrite is out of scope. 1. #49503 move inspect and advisors 2. **#49501** split Studio logs from ClickHouse queries ← **this PR** 3. #49500 treat reports as signal dashboards 4. #49502 add Observe the data hub 5. #49506 add agent setup components 6. #49504 add hire-an-agent templates 7. #49505 restructure observability nav and overview ## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Docs update. Second layer in the observability stack. ## What is the current behavior? `/guides/monitoring-and-debugging/logs` mixes the Studio Logs UI with ClickHouse query syntax, sources, and recording extra events. ## What is the new behavior? - Logs is the Studio interface guide (filters, log types, inspecting a row) - Query and filter logs (`advanced-log-filtering`) owns ClickHouse SQL, sources, MCP/API/CLI access, and recording extra Postgres/API/Realtime events - Log field reference explains `log_attributes` query paths - Nav labels and cross-links follow the new titles ## Additional context Forward links to the later Observe the data hub are added in #49502. ## Self-review - Existing `#querying-with-the-logs-explorer` and `#configuring-pgauditlog` anchors now live on Query and filter logs - Debugging-guide links that pointed at the old Logs Explorer heading were retargeted so they still resolve <!-- CURSOR_AGENT_PR_BODY_END --> <div><a href="https://cursor.com/agents/bc-a3cb5ece-925b-4046-b58a-5d69e9a9d794?cursor_ref=pr_footer&cursor_cta=open_in_web"><picture><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-dark.png"><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-light.png"><img alt="Open in Web" width="114" height="28" src="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-dark.png"></picture></a> <a href="https://cursor.com/background-agent?bcId=bc-a3cb5ece-925b-4046-b58a-5d69e9a9d794&cursor_ref=pr_footer&cursor_cta=open_in_cursor"><picture><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-dark.png"><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-light.png"><img alt="Open in Cursor" width="131" height="28" src="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-dark.png"></picture></a> </div> --------- Co-authored-by: Cursor Agent <cursoragent@cursor.com> Co-authored-by: Saxon Fletcher <SaxonF@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: Nik Richers <nik@validmind.ai> |

docs: move inspect and advisors into observability (#49503)
<!-- CURSOR_AGENT_PR_BODY_BEGIN --> ## Stack Draft stack extracted from `docs/monitoring`. Merge bottom-up. Troubleshooting / debugging-guide rewrite is out of scope. 1. **#49503** move inspect and advisors ← **this PR** 2. #49501 split Studio logs from ClickHouse queries 3. #49500 treat reports as signal dashboards 4. #49502 add Observe the data hub 5. #49506 add agent setup components 6. #49504 add hire-an-agent templates 7. #49505 restructure observability nav and overview ## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Docs update. First layer in the observability stack. ## What is the current behavior? Inspect and advisors live under Database (`/guides/database/inspect`, `/guides/database/database-advisors`). Observability readers have to leave the monitoring section to find them. ## What is the new behavior? - Moves inspect into `/guides/monitoring-and-debugging/inspect` - Adds `/guides/monitoring-and-debugging/advisors` (replaces the Database Advisors page) - Adds redirects and updates Studio/docs links so old URLs keep working - Adds both pages to the existing Monitoring nav so they are discoverable before the later IA PR ## Additional context Inspect and advisors pages render as standard MDX. Redirects cover `/docs/guides/database/inspect`, `/docs/guides/database/database-advisors`, and `/docs/guides/database/database-linter`. Debugging-guide content is unchanged except the inspect URL. ## Self-review - No leftover `/guides/database/inspect` or `/guides/database/database-advisors` links in docs guides or Studio linter/AI surfaces (historical blog posts left as-is) - Smoke test path updated to `/docs/guides/monitoring-and-debugging/advisors` <!-- CURSOR_AGENT_PR_BODY_END --> <div><a href="https://cursor.com/agents/bc-a3cb5ece-925b-4046-b58a-5d69e9a9d794?cursor_ref=pr_footer&cursor_cta=open_in_web"><picture><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-dark.png"><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-light.png"><img alt="Open in Web" width="114" height="28" src="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-web-dark.png"></picture></a> <a href="https://cursor.com/background-agent?bcId=bc-a3cb5ece-925b-4046-b58a-5d69e9a9d794&cursor_ref=pr_footer&cursor_cta=open_in_cursor"><picture><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-dark.png"><source media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)" srcset="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-light.png"><img alt="Open in Cursor" width="131" height="28" src="https://cursor.com/assets/images/open-in-cursor-dark.png"></picture></a> </div> <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **New Features** - Added a centralized Advisors guide for security and performance checks. - Updated database inspection guidance with live Postgres statistics, cache hit-rate context, and query-analysis resources. - **Documentation** - Reorganized Advisors and database inspection content under Monitoring and Debugging. - Updated navigation, cross-references, in-product help links, and CLI documentation links. - Added permanent redirects from previous documentation URLs to preserve access. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> --------- Co-authored-by: Cursor Agent <cursoragent@cursor.com> Co-authored-by: Saxon Fletcher <SaxonF@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: Nik Richers <nik@validmind.ai> |

fix(www): prevent mobile blog layout overflow (#49983)
## I have read the CONTRIBUTING.md file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? This PR fixes a mobile layout bug on blog posts where long unwrapped URLs made the article column wider than its flex parent. With `justify-center`, that overflow centered the column and clipped content on both sides. It also hardens the reading progress bar so it no longer uses `100vw`, matching the overflow-safe pattern already used on changelog prose. ## What is the current behavior? - On mobile Safari, `/blog/are-supabase-docs-agent-friendly` shifts left with empty space on the right and clipped title/body text - A raw long URL in a blockquote (`row-level-security.md`) expands the flex column past the parent width - The reading progress fill uses `w-screen` (`100vw`) with a negative `translate3d`, which can widen layout outside the blog `overflow-x-clip` shell ## What is the new behavior? - Blog main column uses `min-w-0 w-full` so flex children cannot outgrow the parent - Blog prose uses `wrap-break-word` (same as changelog) so long URLs wrap - Scroll progress bar uses parent width plus `overflow-hidden` instead of `w-screen` ## Additional context - Branch: `fix-docs-agents-blog-post-on-mobile` - Files: `apps/www/components/Blog/BlogPostRenderer.tsx`, `apps/www/components/ScrollProgress.tsx` - Verification: | Check | Result | | --- | --- | | Production at 390px: title `h1` left ≈ -42 (shifted) | pass (reproduced) | | Preview at 390px: title `h1` left = 24, right = 366 | pass | | `scrollWidth === clientWidth` on preview | pass | | Progress bar still fills on scroll | pass | | Hero image still `hidden lg:block` (unchanged) | pass | ### Proof: mobile blog no longer shifts left **Verified:** production before vs PR www preview after, both captured at CSS viewport 390×844 via `page.setViewport` (not Chrome `--window-size`) | [Before (production)](https://supabase.com/blog/are-supabase-docs-agent-friendly) | [After (PR preview)](https://zone-www-dot-com-git-fix-docs-agents-blog-post-4e52df-supabase.vercel.app/blog/are-supabase-docs-agent-friendly) | | --- | --- | | | | - **Before:** https://supabase.com/blog/are-supabase-docs-agent-friendly - **After:** https://zone-www-dot-com-git-fix-docs-agents-blog-post-4e52df-supabase.vercel.app/blog/are-supabase-docs-agent-friendly ### Test plan - [ ] Open [production](https://supabase.com/blog/are-supabase-docs-agent-friendly) at ~390px and confirm the clipped/shifted layout - [ ] Open the [PR www preview](https://zone-www-dot-com-git-fix-docs-agents-blog-post-4e52df-supabase.vercel.app/blog/are-supabase-docs-agent-friendly) at ~390px - [ ] Confirm title, authors, and body are fully visible with no empty strip on the right - [ ] Confirm `document.documentElement.scrollWidth === document.documentElement.clientWidth` - [ ] Scroll and confirm the green reading progress bar still fills - [ ] Spot-check another blog post without a raw long URL for no layout regression Co-authored-by: Nik Richers <nik@validmind.ai> |

docs: add test-the-docs skill and pm-the-docs universe lookup (#49913)
## I have read the CONTRIBUTING.md file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Docs authoring skills / contributor enablement. ## What is the current behavior? - The "Write the docs" bar asks for runnable examples, but skills stop at lint/build (`/review-the-docs`) and do not execute inline MDX snippets. - Cross-repo product grounding depends on a single-repo read; there is no skill guidance for `supabase/universe` when you have Supabase org access. ## What is the new behavior? - Adds `/test-the-docs` to run procedural snippets against a Docker-isolated local stack (`supabase start` in a temp project), with Verification table output. - Teaches `/pm-the-docs` cross-repo product lookup (`reference/universe-lookup.md`) with a capability gate: universe when you have Supabase org access (or a local clone), otherwise a first-class OSS public-search path. `ask-the-docs` stays docs-app only. - Updates the checklist mirror, CONTRIBUTING skills table, and light handoffs in `write-the-docs` / `review-the-docs`. ## Additional context Vault "Write the docs" checklist updated separately; Linear document needs a Claude-side delta sync after merge. ### Test plan - [ ] Symlinks: `.claude/skills` is a Git symlink to `../.agents/skills`; `.claude/skills/test-the-docs/SKILL.md` resolves - [ ] No hardcoded personal absolute paths under `.agents/skills/` - [ ] CONTRIBUTING lists skills including `/test-the-docs` - [ ] `/pm-the-docs` references `universe-lookup.md` capability gate; `/ask-the-docs` Related points there for product lookup - [ ] OSS path: no universe clone / submodule init when `gh api repos/supabase/universe` fails - [ ] Docker up: dry-run `/test-the-docs` against one MDX page with SQL/CLI (optional smoke) - [ ] Docker down: skill documents graceful `deferred` (not silent skip) <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **New Features** - Added documentation guidance for testing runnable examples in an isolated local environment. - Added cross-repository product lookup guidance, including capability checks and source tracking. - Added verification report templates with standardized results and environment details. - **Documentation** - Expanded authoring, review, self-review, and contribution guidance. - Improved safety instructions for local snippet testing, including credential protection and cleanup. - Updated repository layout, tooling, links, and workflow references for documentation skills. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> --------- Co-authored-by: Nik Richers <nik@validmind.ai> |

docs: use sign in terminology across guides and style guides (#49877)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Docs update. Aligns documentation and style guides with the **Sign in / Sign out / Sign up** platform standard. Closes DOCS-1328. Related to [#49874](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/49874). ## What is the current behavior? Docs style guides prefer _login_ / _log in_. Guide prose uses mixed login and sign in wording. ## What is the new behavior? - [WORD_LIST.md](apps/docs/WORD_LIST.md) and [copywriting.mdx](apps/design-system/content/docs/copywriting.mdx) document the sign in standard - Design-system auth examples updated - Guide prose and API reference spec descriptions updated ### Terminology **Standard:** Use _sign in_, _sign out_, and _sign up_ as verbs. Use _sign-in_, _sign-out_, and _sign-up_ as nouns and adjectives. Match Studio UI labels (**Sign in**, **Sign out**, **Sign up**). **Preserved intentionally:** | Category | Keep as-is | Example | | -------- | ---------- | ------- | | Feature name | social login | `/social-login`, `features.mdx` heading, OAuth provider section | | URL slugs | `login` in paths | `/phone-login`, `/login-flows`, `choosing-login-flow` | | CLI | `supabase login` / `supabase logout` | Reference ids `supabase-login` / `supabase-logout`; executable commands unchanged | | SDK methods | `logout()` | Kotlin/Swift method names in API reference titles and examples | | Third-party UI | Provider product labels | Facebook Login, Kakao Login, portal **Login** buttons | | Postgres | Database terminology | login privileges, login credentials, login via role | | Audit/logging | Log prose | "Generates the following **log** in the Postgres Logs" | | Code and routes | Paths and filenames | `app/login/`, `Login.tsx`, `demos/android-login` | | External URLs | Third-party login pages | `dash.cloudflare.com/login`, `console.neon.tech/login`, `vercel.com/login` | | API identifiers | Event and field names | Audit actions `login`/`logout`, `should_logout_user` | ## To test - Run `pnpm lint:mdx` in `apps/docs` - Spot-check `features.mdx`, `social-login.mdx`, and a provider guide (e.g. Facebook, Kakao) <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **Documentation** * Standardized authentication terminology across guides, reference material, CLI documentation, and copywriting guidance using “sign in,” “sign out,” and “sign up.” * Updated authentication instructions, headings, link text, examples, and SSO guidance for clearer, more consistent wording. * Corrected related grammar, spelling, hyphenation, and documentation links while preserving established product names and implementation commands. * **Style** * Refined code examples with consistent import ordering and spacing. * **Examples** * Updated authentication button and menu labels to “Sign in” and “Sign out.” <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

docs(api): note db.schema generic requirement for TS (#49967)
Adds a note to the "Using Custom Schemas" guide:
`createClient<Database>(...)` needs the schema passed as the second
generic (`createClient<Database, 'myschema'>(...)`) to type-check
`db.schema` against anything but `public`.
`supabase.schema('myschema').from(...)` is the per-call alternative that
needs no second generic.
Related to supabase/supabase-js#969 — the existing JS example has no
type parameters so it never surfaces this, and TypeScript users
extending it with `<Database>` hit a confusing compile error with no
pointer to the fix.
supabase-js companion: supabase/supabase-js#2662
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Documentation**
* Added guidance to the custom schemas guide explaining TypeScript
typing behavior when using non-public schemas.

OAuth Apps Scoped Grants: refactor to ease future implementation (#49958)
## Problem We're working on OAuth Apps Scoped Grants and want to display an alternative UI for Authorized apps depending on a feature flag. However, the `/apps` page currently contains the code of both the _Publishable apps_ and _Authorized apps_ sections. ## Solution No functional nor design changes. - Extract both sections into their own components to ease the introduction of the alternative UI - Improve a11y <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **New Features** - Added separate views for managing publishable and authorized OAuth applications. - Users can publish, update, and delete applications, with convenient credential-copy controls. - Authorized applications can be sorted and revoked through a confirmation dialog. - **User Experience** - Added clear loading, empty, error, and permission-denied states for OAuth application lists. - Improved organization settings layout for OAuth app management. - Added consistent sorting behavior when selecting and toggling table columns. - Improved accessibility for credential notifications and dismissal controls. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

chore: make agent instructions agent-agnostic (#49941)
Makes the repo's AI-agent setup tool-agnostic: instructions live in
`AGENTS.md` files, skills live in `.agents/skills/`, and Claude Code,
Codex, Cursor, and Copilot all read the same sources. Also sweeps the
skills for stale and duplicated content while everything was being
moved.
**Changed:**
- Every `CLAUDE.md` (root, `apps/studio`, `apps/docs`, `apps/kb`) is now
a one-line `@AGENTS.md` import; the content moved verbatim into an
`AGENTS.md` beside it. The root one moved from `.claude/CLAUDE.md` to
the repo root for consistency.
- All skills now live in `.agents/skills/`; `.claude/skills` is a single
symlink to it (replacing the old mix of real dirs and per-skill
symlinks). Path references in `.coderabbit.yaml`, code comments, and
docs updated to match.
- `.github/copilot-instructions.md` keeps only the review policy and
points at `AGENTS.md` + `.agents/skills/`. Copilot code review reads
those natively now, so the per-topic
`.github/instructions/*.instructions.md` files were duplicates of the
skills.
- Stale skill content fixed: `studio-queries` imported a toast library
Studio doesn't use, `telemetry-standards` and `studio-testing` used
import paths that don't resolve, `safe-sql-execution` cited a boundary
test that doesn't exist, the ask-the-docs references described an
`AiPrompt` mechanism that was replaced by the ID-keyed registry, plus a
handful of wrong paths, a self-contradicting `waitForTimeout` rule, an
invalid Playwright signature, and a ConfigCat flag described as PostHog.
- `studio-error-handling` now explains when to use `AlertError` (the
default) vs `ErrorMatcher`.
**Added:**
- `apps/docs/AGENTS.md` (docs test requirements, from the old Cursor
rule)
- `studio-shortcuts` skill (from the old Copilot instruction file,
verified against the current registry)
- `ask-the-docs/reference/graphql-endpoint.md` and
`search-embeddings.md` (from the old Cursor rules, with the missing
resolver/registration/codegen steps filled in)
- Feature-flag measurement section in `telemetry-standards`
**Removed:**
- `.cursor/` (rules folded in as above; skill symlinks no longer needed)
and `.cursorignore`
- `.github/instructions/` (8 files)
- `vercel-composition-patterns/AGENTS.md` – a 946-line verbatim
concatenation of its own `rules/` directory, and a nested `AGENTS.md`
that agents could auto-load as repo instructions
- `edit-the-docs/reference/structure-and-flow.md` – word-for-word copy
of the skill's own Phase 2 text
## To test
- `readlink .claude/skills` → `../.agents/skills`, and `ls
.claude/skills/copywriting/SKILL.md` resolves
- Open a Claude Code session at the repo root and in `apps/studio` – the
imported `AGENTS.md` content should load as before
- `git diff master --stat -M` shows the skill moves as 100% renames
(content unchanged except the listed fixes)
- Spot-check a fixed claim, e.g. `import { toast } from 'sonner'` in
`studio-queries`, or the `logs.all` ESLint rule cited in
`clickhouse-logs-queries/references/codebase-integration.md`

Scoped PAT: ensure innaccessible resources are distinguishable (#49948)
## Problem When users don't have access to some resources targeted by a token, we show those resources slugs or refs. However, they are not distinguishable enough. ## Solution - Make them distinguishable by applying the _destructive_ color - Cleaned up unused code (`isInaccessible` prop wasn't used anymore after last refactoring but we forgot to remove it) ## How to test 1. Invite another user to one of your projects 2. As this other user, create a scoped pat targeting the project 3. As the initial user, remove the invited user from the project 4. As the invited user, check the token permissions: you should see an admonition at the top and the project should be displayed in red with only its ref (not its name) <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **Bug Fixes** - Access token resource indicators now accurately show when an organization or project is inaccessible. - Inaccessible resources are clearly labeled as “revoked,” reducing ambiguity about their access status. - **Style** - Organization and project access indicators now use consistent badge styling, spacing, and icon treatments. - **Accessibility** - Revoked status messages are now announced more clearly to assistive technologies. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

feat(studio): add Health Advisor page (#49663)
## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Feature ## Summary - Add a Health Advisor page at `/project/[ref]/advisors/health` - Put Health Advisor first in the Advisors left nav (above Security), platform-only - Register `V` then `H` and a command-menu entry Stacked on #49662. Top of the stack. ## To test 1. Open any project in Studio. 2. Click **Advisors** in the main nav (or go to `/project/<ref>/advisors/security`). 3. In the left nav, confirm the order is **Health Advisor**, then Security Advisor, then Performance Advisor, then Query Performance. 4. Click **Health Advisor**. You should land on a page titled “Health Advisor” with Errors / Warnings / Info tabs, same layout as Security Advisor. 5. If the project is healthy, Errors should say no errors were detected. If it is not, the failing checks should list here (database down, connection limit, and so on). 6. Click **Refresh** (or Shift+R) and confirm the list reloads. 7. Click a row and confirm the detail panel opens with a link through to logs, connections, or infrastructure. 8. While still in Advisors, press **V** then **H**. You should jump back to Health Advisor. 9. Open the command menu and search **Health Advisor**. Choosing it should navigate to this page. <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **New Features** - Added a Health Advisor page for reviewing project health findings by severity and category. - Added Health Advisor navigation in the advisor menu and a keyboard shortcut (`V`, then `H`) on supported platforms. - Added refresh, filtering, selection, and lint detail navigation for health findings. - **Bug Fixes** - Added validation for linter severity values, safely handling unsupported or missing inputs. - **Documentation** - Updated migration and shortcut documentation to include the Health Advisor. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> --------- Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com> Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

feat(studio): add health category to the advisor panel (#49662)
## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Feature ## Summary - Replace advisor panel tabs with multi-select category filters, including Health - Load health lints in the advisor panel (without blocking other categories on the slower health request) - Rename item `tab` to `category` and add empty-state copy for health Stacked on #49661. ## To test 1. Open any project in Studio. 2. Open Advisor Center from the toolbar (the advisor / lightbulb control). 3. Confirm the old All / Security / Performance / Messages **tabs are gone**. You should see **Category**, **Status**, and **Severity** filters instead. 4. Open Category and confirm **Health** is in the list with Security, Performance, and Messages. 5. Select only **Health**: - If the project is healthy: empty state “No health issues detected” / “Your database, instance and services are all responding normally”. - If it is not: only health issues in the list. 6. Clear Health, then filter **Security** and **Performance** separately. Those lists should still match what you expect from before. 7. With Health selected, also filter Severity to **Info** only. If nothing matches, you should get “No items found” and a way to clear filters — not a false “no health issues” message. 8. From project home, click an advisor card. Advisor Center should still open on that same item. <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **New Features** - Added category-based filtering for Advisor recommendations, including Security, Performance, Health, and Messages. - Added Health issue recommendations and category-specific icons, labels, and empty-state messaging. - Advisor results now load according to the selected categories. - Added clearer project requirements and hidden-item controls for filtered results. - **Bug Fixes** - Invalid category and severity filter values are safely ignored. - Improved categorization and telemetry for Advisor items, including health and security recommendations. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> --------- Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com> Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

feat(studio): show health advisors on the project home (#49661)
## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Feature ## Summary - Add a `useProjectHealthLintsQuery` that runs the live health checks (database down, unreachable, connection limit, service error rate, infrastructure alerts) - Surface those results on the project home advisor row alongside security and performance errors - Register health lint metadata (titles, docs links, entity icon) so homepage cards can render them Bottom of the stack. The advisor sidebar still uses tabs; health items show under All until #49662. ## To test 1. Open any project home in Studio. 2. Find the Advisor row (the cards under “Advisor found N issues”). 3. If the project has a real health problem, you should see a **HEALTH** card (for example “Database process is down” or “Database connection limit reached”), not only SECURITY / PERFORMANCE. 4. If the project is healthy, you should **not** see a HEALTH card. Existing security and performance cards should still appear as before. 5. Click a HEALTH card (or any advisor card). Advisor Center should open on that item. 6. In Advisor Center on this PR, health items only show under the **All** tab — Health is not its own tab yet. <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **New Features** - Added a Health category to Advisor, with a dedicated tab and activity icon. - Added health checks for database availability, connection limits, service errors, and infrastructure alerts. - Health issues now appear alongside security and performance recommendations with relevant troubleshooting links. - **Bug Fixes** - Health-related advisor findings are now correctly categorized and displayed. - **Tests** - Added coverage for health checks, categorization, filtering, and project health query behavior. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> --------- Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com> |

fix(ui-patterns): prevent duplicate horizontal scrollbar in MultipleCodeBlock (#49940)
## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Bug fix ## What is the current behavior? Fixes #49903 In `ConnectSheet` (e.g., Next.js -> Step 2 "Add files"), multi-file instructions render using `MultipleCodeBlock`. The `TabsContent` container in `packages/ui-patterns/src/MultipleCodeBlock/index.tsx` was styled with `className="... overflow-scroll ..."`. The CSS property `overflow-scroll` forces both horizontal and vertical scrollbar tracks to be rendered regardless of whether horizontal content overflows. Because the child `<CodeBlock>` already manages its own horizontal overflow (`overflow-auto`) and fills the container width, `TabsContent` displayed a frozen/disabled horizontal scrollbar at the top level. When scrolling down vertically to the bottom of the code snippet, `<CodeBlock>`'s real horizontal scrollbar came into view, resulting in inconsistent and duplicate scrollbars. ## What is the new behavior? - Replaced `overflow-scroll` with `overflow-y-auto` on `TabsContent` in `MultipleCodeBlock`. - `TabsContent` cleanly scrolls vertically when content height exceeds `max-h-72`. - Eliminates the duplicate/disabled top-level horizontal scrollbar. - Horizontal code scrolling is cleanly delegated to `<CodeBlock>` only when lines exceed the available width. - Added a unit test in `packages/ui-patterns/src/MultipleCodeBlock/index.test.tsx` verifying `TabsContent` applies `overflow-y-auto` rather than `overflow-scroll`. ## Additional context Verified locally: - `vitest run src/MultipleCodeBlock/index.test.tsx` (all tests passing) - `tsc --noEmit` in `packages/ui-patterns` (0 type errors) - `prettier --check` against modified files (passed) <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **Bug Fixes** * Improved code block scrolling to use vertical scrolling only. * Prevented unnecessary horizontal scrollbars in multi-file code examples. * Added coverage to verify the updated scrolling behavior. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

fix(www): prevent State of Startups banner collision (#49932)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Bug fix. ## What is the current behavior? The Supabase Select 2026 announcement is rendered outside the fixed navigation stack on `/state-of-startups`, so the navigation overlaps the banner. At shorter viewport heights, the hero's viewport-based minimum height also lets its headline sit beneath the fixed banner and navigation. ## What is the new behavior? On State of Startups routes, the announcement is rendered inside the fixed navigation stack. The hero content also reserves the stack's responsive height as its minimum top inset, keeping the headline clear when the viewport is short without shifting it at normal heights. Dismissing the banner moves the navigation back to the top without a hard-coded navigation offset. Other routes keep the existing announcement and sticky navigation layout. | Before | After | | --- | --- | | <img width="1040" height="618" alt="State of Startups 2026 Supabase" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/2dc42574-1485-465c-93b1-6690e44a26e4" /> | <img width="1040" height="618" alt="State of Startups 2026 Supabase" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/626374cf-8a6b-4519-bbcd-21acfc822fa0" /> | ## To test 1. Open `/state-of-startups` on the deploy preview with the Supabase Select 2026 announcement visible. 2. Confirm the announcement sits above the navigation without overlap at desktop and mobile widths. 3. Reduce the viewport height to around 500px and confirm the State of Startups headline remains below the navigation. 4. Dismiss the announcement and confirm the navigation moves to the top of the viewport without leaving a gap. 5. Open another www route and confirm the announcement remains above the sticky navigation. <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **Bug Fixes** * Updated the announcement banner placement on State of Startups pages so it appears within the sticky navigation area. * Preserved the existing announcement banner placement on other pages. * Increased top spacing above the State of Startups header content across mobile and desktop layouts. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

refactor(studio): simplify pipeline advanced settings (#49841)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Small Studio UI refactor. ## What is the current behavior? BigQuery-only fields are already conditionally rendered, but repeat that scope in badges. Number inputs also convert non-empty invalid values directly with Number(). ## What is the new behavior? Removes the redundant badges, keeps number fields empty instead of storing NaN, and gives the invalidated-slot menu consistent viewport collision spacing. | Before | After | | --- | --- | | <img width="1238" height="364" alt="CleanShot 2026-09-02 at 14 40 02@2x" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/8c9b0c30-250e-422f-af3b-70f84e439459" /> | <img width="1252" height="358" alt="CleanShot 2026-09-02 at 14 40 22@2x" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/8b3c6837-2c84-4c0d-ae07-b6b8b7a50cfe" /> | ## To test 1. Open the pipeline creation sheet and expand Advanced settings. 2. Confirm connection pool size and maximum staleness appear only for BigQuery, without BigQuery-only badges. 3. chore(studio): refine Explorer query UI (#49895)
## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? UI refinements for Explorer query surfaces. ## What is the current behavior? - The assistant chat textarea uses a tighter radius than the Run SQL / Create a notebook cards on Explorer home. - Chart results sit unevenly in the results pane because axis gutters stack on card padding, and long Y labels can clip. - Selecting SQL in the editor changes the primary Run button to Run selected, which is easy to trigger by accident. - The Prettify SQL icon in notebook query cells uses Lucide's default size, so it doesn't match other toolbar actions. ## What is the new behavior? - Assistant chat form uses `rounded-lg` so it matches the home action cards everywhere the form is used. - Query result charts collapse unused axis space, add a little padding when labels are on, and size the Y axis from formatted ticks so longer labels fit. - Run is a default split button that always executes the full query. Run selected is a secondary menu item, disabled until SQL is selected. - Notebook cell Prettify SQL icons use `size={16}` and `strokeWidth={2}` like the rest of the Explorer toolbar. ## Additional context Cmd+Enter in the editor still runs the current selection when there is one. ## Test plan - [ ] Open Explorer home and confirm the assistant chat radius matches the Run SQL and Create a notebook cards. - [ ] Run a query, switch to chart view, and check spacing with labels off and on, including large Y values. - [ ] With no selection, click Run and confirm the full query runs. Open the split menu and confirm Run selected is disabled. - [ ] Select SQL, click Run, and confirm the full query still runs. Use Run selected from the menu to run only the selection. - [ ] In a notebook query cell, confirm Prettify SQL matches the size and stroke of nearby toolbar icons. Made with [Cursor](https://cursor.com) <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **New Features** - Added a split Run control in the query editor, with separate actions for running all content or only selected text. - Added support for customizing chart X-axis display settings. - Improved chart Y-axis sizing, scaling, and tick formatting for clearer results. - **Bug Fixes** - The “Run selected” action is unavailable when no text is selected. - **Style** - Updated toolbar icon sizing and added rounded corners to the assistant chat input. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

Add blog post: Are Supabase docs agent-friendly? (#49800)
## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Adds a new `apps/www` blog post, "Are Supabase docs agent-friendly? We didn't know, so we checked," backdated to 2026-08-01 so it slots in chronologically between the existing 2026-07-31 Evals launch post and the 2026-08-05 post. The post writes up an eval-driven audit of the Row Level Security guide built on `supabase/evals`: the first eval run found the guide let agents grant the `anon` role write access to everything by default, and the fix that stuck was structural, moving test guidance next to the exact policy code a reader (human or agent) would copy. ## What is the current behavior? docs: improve write-the-docs skill and retire docs-content (#49089)
## I have read the CONTRIBUTING.md file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Improves the `write-the-docs` skill and retires the overlapping `docs-content` skill (provided @czenko agrees to the latter). ## What is the current behavior? - Docs drafts could leak future-tense / internal roadmap language, add redundant verbiage, and add single-item lists. - No explicit CONTRIBUTING.md / WORD_LIST.md compliance pass for docs drafts. - Product intent was assumed to come from Linear without a good path path for open-source contributors. - `docs-content` overlapped `write-the-docs` and the broader `*-the-docs` skill set (e.g. I started [#49432](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/49432) before realizing we should likely not have overlapping skills). ## What is the new behavior? - Codifies draft pitfalls as principles in `reference/common-pitfalls.md` (timelessness, strip internal business context, redundancy, single-item lists), with style detail pointed from `SKILL.md` rather than duplicated. - Clarifies SoT: Linear + code inspection for content accuracy; CONTRIBUTING.md / WORD_LIST.md (and future DOCS-1177 style guide) for voice/terminology/formatting only. `common-pitfalls.md` is flagged to fold into that guide later. - Linear is internal and preferred when available, not required for open-source. Missing product intent: stop Draft and hand off to `pm-the-docs` (Frame) / `ask-the-docs` (Shape/IA); do not invent positioning or run Frame/Shape inside this skill. - Adds drafting mechanics notes, a compliance checklist before handoff, and a local `/review-the-docs` self-review step. - Removes `.claude/skills/docs-content/`; `.claude/CLAUDE.md` points at the canonical docs skills. Supersedes #49432. ## Additional context Based on @czenko review feedback on #49020 and feedback I received for `docs-content` from @aantti while trialing the "Write the docs" process with contributors, plus my own testing while drafting docs for product managers. ### Test plan - [ ] `SKILL.md` reads as Draft-only; Frame/Shape stay with `pm-the-docs` / `ask-the-docs` - [ ] No-Linear path: ask for Linear (internal) or hand off Frame/Shape; no invented positioning - [ ] `.claude/skills/docs-content/` gone; `.claude/CLAUDE.md` updated - [ ] `.claude/skills/write-the-docs` symlink still resolves to `.agents/skills/write-the-docs` - [ ] Next `/write-the-docs` run: compliance re-read + pitfalls guidance before handoff <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **Documentation** - Added an `edit-the-docs` workflow for restructuring and improving existing documentation pages. - Expanded authoring guidance for concise, timeless, user-focused content grounded in product intent. - Added references covering common writing pitfalls, link and anchor conventions, and validation workflows. - Clarified that style guidance applies to voice, formatting, and terminology—not product behavior. - Updated documentation workflows to distinguish planning, writing, editing, review, and assistance responsibilities. - Replaced the previous standalone docs-content skill with the updated authoring skill model. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> --------- Co-authored-by: Cursor Agent <cursoragent@cursor.com> Co-authored-by: Nik Richers <nik@validmind.ai> Co-authored-by: Miranda Limonczenko <miranda.limonczenko@supabase.io> |

fix: use correct Notion database ID for VIP dinner RSVPs (#49920)
## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Bug fix ## What is the current behavior? Submitting the `/go/select-2026/vip-dinner` form fails with a Notion 400: `Provided ID 37d5004b-775f-80c5-85c7-fc15377098dc is a page, not a database.` The form was writing to the Notion page that contains the RSVP database, not the database itself. ## What is the new behavior? RSVPs now write to the VIP dinner Notion database (`37d5004b775f809e8cc4e29fdec302aa`). ## Additional context No visual changes. This only updates the Notion `database_id` on the VIP dinner go page. Made with [Cursor](https://cursor.com) <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **Bug Fixes** * Updated the VIP dinner RSVP form’s backend configuration to ensure submissions are directed to the correct destination. * No changes were made to the form fields, configuration, or CRM mapping. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com> |

Add VIP dinner go pages back (#49915)
## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Feature ## What is the current behavior? The Select 2026 VIP Dinner RSVP pages were removed. VIP Experience remains live as one invite cohort for the same dinner. ## What is the new behavior? Restores `/go/select-2026/vip-dinner` and its thank-you page as a second invite cohort for the same Penny Roma dinner (October 1, 2026, 7:00 PM / 7:30 PM). RSVPs write to the VIP Dinner Notion database. VIP Experience is unchanged. ## Additional context Same event, two invite lists. Venue, time, and hosts match VIP Experience. ## Test plan - [ ] Open `/go/select-2026/vip-dinner` and confirm Penny Roma, October 1, 2026, and the RSVP form render - [ ] Submit a test RSVP and confirm a row lands in the VIP Dinner Notion database - [ ] Confirm `/go/select-2026/vip-experience` still works and writes to its own database Made with [Cursor](https://cursor.com) <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **New Features** - Added a Select 2026 VIP dinner event page with event details, venue information, host profiles, and seat reservation form. - Added RSVP submission and confirmation flow, including a dedicated thank-you page with confirmation details. - Added event pages to the website’s public page registry. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com> |

fix(workers): support private deployments FE-4328 (#49902)
## Problem The dashboard's Workers snippets said that the CLI could only deploy public Workers and generated the obsolete access configuration field. ## Fix Use the CLI and backend exposure field in generated config, CLI, and AI snippets so private Worker deployments are supported. ## How to test - Run: pnpm --filter studio test components/interfaces/Workers/workerSnippets.test.ts - Expected result: all 11 tests pass, including private Worker snippets using --exposure private. <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **Improvements** - Worker deployment snippets now pass the selected exposure setting directly to the CLI. - Generated `config.toml` files now use the `exposure` setting. - AI deployment guidance now documents the exposure flag, helping clarify deployment configuration. - **Changes** - Removed the previous private-worker warning and public-only deployment note from deployment guidance. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

feat(workers): add log filters FE-4322 (#49893)
## Problem Workers log views were limited to the most recent 24 hours and could not be narrowed by event text or HTTP method. ## Fix Adds selectable time ranges, event-message search, and an HTTP-method filter for invocation logs. Filters are applied in the analytics query and included in the cache key. ## How to test - Open a worker and select the Invocations tab. - Change the time range, enter an event message, and select a method. - Expected result: only matching invocation logs are shown. - Open Logs or Activity. - Expected result: message and time filters are available; the method filter is hidden. <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **New Features** * Added worker log filtering by date range and event message. * Applied a default 24-hour time range to log searches. * Improved filter controls and updated empty-state messaging to reflect the selected range. * **Bug Fixes** * Improved filtering accuracy and safer handling of special characters in event messages. * **Tests** * Added coverage for date-range and message-filter query behavior. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

fix(studio): display diff for view-only notebook cell edits (#49901)
## Summary Fixed a bug in the AI Assistant notebook-update proposal preview where a `replace_cell` operation that only changed a cell's view (table ↔ chart) or chart parameters (type, x/y columns, cumulative, scale, labels) would show as a "Replaced" row but the expanded diff would appear empty. **Root cause:** The diff editor only compared the cell's SQL text; view and chart configuration were never considered, so changes to those aspects showed no diff. **Solution:** * Refactored `getCellMetadata` to return structured `NotebookCellFields` with separate `source` (database/time range) and `view` (table/chart) fields instead of a single concatenated string * Added `formatChartConfig` and `formatCellView` helpers to describe chart cells * Updated `getEntryMetadata` to diff source and view independently, showing only the fields that actually changed (e.g., "Table → Chart (bar, ...)" when only the view changed, with the unchanged database omitted) * If neither field changed, metadata is hidden entirely ## Test plan * Added test cases for: chart-view cells reporting a `view` field, view-only changes surfacing without the unchanged database, chart-parameter-only changes surfacing without the unchanged database, database-only changes surfacing without the unchanged view, and fully-unchanged replacements hiding metadata entirely * All 43 tests in the touched test file pass * `tsc --noEmit` on apps/studio shows no new type errors ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **Enhancements** * Improved AI Assistant notebook previews with clearer cell details, including source content and table or chart views. * Chart previews now show key configuration details, such as chart type and selected dimensions * Replacement previews highlight only the fields that changed and hide entries with no visible changes. <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **New Features** * Notebook previews now distinguish cell content from its view, including table and chart details. * Chart previews display relevant configuration, such as chart type and axes. * Log previews include their formatted time range. * Replacement previews now show only the fields that changed. * **Bug Fixes** * Unchanged replacements are now hidden instead of displaying misleading content. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

fix(studio): hide shared pooler chart for high availability projects (#49904)
High Availability projects run Multigres and don't have Supavisor, so the Shared Pooler (Supavisor) client connections chart in the database report only ever rendered an "Unable to load data" error for them. This hides the chart for HA projects, following the same pattern as the Disk IO Burst Balance chart. **Changed:** - `supavisor-connections-active` chart is now hidden when `project.high_availability` is true **Added:** - Unit tests covering the shared pooler chart's visibility for standard, HA, and unentitled projects ## To test - Open Reports → Database on a High Availability project – the Shared Pooler (Supavisor) client connections chart should no longer appear - Open the same report on a standard Pro project – the chart should still render as before <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **Bug Fixes** * The active connection chart is now hidden for High Availability projects and projects without the database entitlement, preventing empty or unavailable data from being displayed. * **Tests** * Added coverage to verify the chart appears only for eligible standard projects. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> Co-authored-by: Alaister Young <10985857+alaister@users.noreply.github.com> |

feat(studio): add telemetry for explorer/sql editor temporary switch buttons (#49898)
## Summary Add PostHog event tracking for the two new buttons introduced in PR supabase/supabase#49698 that allow users to temporarily switch between the Explorer and SQL Editor: * **Explorer button**: "Back to SQL Editor" button in the Explorer sidebar title bar now fires `explorer_temp_access_sql_editor_clicked` event * **SQL Editor button**: "Back to Explorer" button in the SQL Editor title bar (shown during temporary visits) now fires `sql_editor_back_explorer_clicked` event Both event interfaces follow the repo's telemetry-standards conventions, carrying only `groups: TelemetryGroups` property with no additional custom properties. ## Test plan - [X] Verify `explorer_temp_access_sql_editor_clicked` event fires in PostHog when clicking "Back to SQL Editor" button in Explorer - [X] Verify `sql_editor_back_explorer_clicked` event fires in PostHog when clicking "Back to Explorer" button in SQL Editor - [X] Run typecheck: `pnpm typecheck` passes without errors - [X] Run lint: `pnpm lint --filter=studio` passes ## Issue Resolves [FE-4213](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/FE-4213/explorer-set-up-telemetry-for-metrics-where-appropriate) ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **Analytics** * Added tracking for navigation from the Explorer to the SQL Editor. * Added tracking for returning from the SQL Editor to the Explorer. |

fix(workers): refresh Workers view FE-4323 (#49887)
## Problem The Workers view can remain stale after a worker is deployed through the CLI, because the dashboard has no deployment mutation to invalidate its list query. ## Fix Add a manual Refresh action to the Workers header and force the Workers list query to refetch whenever the browser regains focus. ## How to test - Open a project’s Workers view and select Refresh. - Expected result: the list requests current worker data and renders it. - Deploy a worker through the CLI, then return focus to the Workers view. - Expected result: the Workers list refreshes even when its cached data is fresh. Closes FE-4323. <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit - **New Features** - Added Refresh buttons to the Workers page and worker list. - Refreshing displays the latest worker information and shows a loading state while data is retrieved. - Worker data now automatically refreshes when the browser window regains focus. - Added a Refresh action to unexpected-error messages, allowing failed requests to be retried without leaving the page. - **Bug Fixes** - Improved recovery from failed worker data requests through in-page retry support. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

fix: sync Bucket state when bucket public/private setting changes (#49891)
### What is the current behavior? Fixes FE-4056. In the Storage Explorer, if you edit a bucket's access level (public/private) via "Edit bucket", the "Get URL" action keeps generating the old signed/public URL type. Clicking the in-explorer refresh button doesn't fix it either, since it only re-lists objects and never refetches bucket metadata. Only a full browser reload resolves it. ### What is the new behavior? selectedBucket in the Storage Explorer's Valtio store is now kept in sync with the bucket query on every change, not just on project switch. "Get URL" now always reads the current public/private state, so it correctly returns a public URL or a signed URL immediately after the bucket's access level is changed - no reload required. ### Additional context Added a second effect to sync selectedBucket whenever the bucket query value changes. <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **Bug Fixes** * Updated bucket selection state when bucket settings change, preventing stale bucket information in actions such as “Get URL.” <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

feat(studio): instrument sign-in attempts and failures (#49853)
The /sign-in page emitted only a pageview on entry and the success-side `sign_in` event on exit: failed or abandoned attempts were invisible, so "never interacted" and "tried and failed silently" could not be told apart in the sign-in funnel. I added an unsampled `sign_in_submitted` event at every initiation point and classified failure capture via `dashboard_error_created` with a new `signin` origin. **Changed:** - **Submit attempts observable**: `sign_in_submitted` (method: `email`, provider id, `sso`, or partner) fires from the DOM submit handler on the password and SSO forms (so submits that fail client-side validation still count), and from the OAuth, custom-provider, and partner initiation handlers. - **Failures classified**: each sign-in error path feeds the existing funnel-error pipe with origin `signin` and a controlled reason slug (`invalid_credentials`, `email_not_confirmed`, `captcha_failed`, `sso_provider_not_found`, ...). GoTrue auth errors now classify via their numeric `status`, guarded so transport failures (`status: 0`) stay `network_error`. - **Attempt events survive the OAuth redirect**: the telemetry event POST sends with `keepalive` (scoped to `sign_in_submitted`, since keepalive requests share a per-page in-flight body quota), so a dispatched request is no longer aborted by the provider navigation; send rejections are caught centrally instead of surfacing as unhandled rejections. The fetch still dispatches after an async token lookup, so preview testing verifies the GitHub-path event actually lands on the wire. - **Captcha rejection is no longer silent**: a rejected hCaptcha challenge resolves the stuck loading toast with an error message, emits `captcha_challenge_failed` (distinct from `captcha_failed`, which stays reserved for the auth server rejecting a submitted token), reports to error monitoring, and resets the captcha widget (previously: unhandled promise rejection and a spinner that never resolved). - **Partner method validated**: the partner sign-in page resolves the URL-hash value against the provider registry and forwards the canonical provider id into `method` on both `sign_in_submitted` and `sign_in`; anything unregistered records as `unregistered_partner`, so a crafted link can't poison the breakdown on either event. **Note:** failure events stay on the shared 10% `dashboard_error_created` sampling rate (a per-origin carve-out would break cross-source volume comparability); the unsampled attempt event carries the tried-vs-never-interacted signal at full volume. ## To test Tested on Vercel preview (studio-staging, wire-level network capture + staging ingestion check): - [x] On `/sign-in`, submit a bogus email + password: expect a `POST */platform/telemetry/event` request with `action: sign_in_submitted`, `method: email` in the network tab, plus an error toast. Observed: 201, auth returned 400 as expected. - [x] Submit with an empty password: expect `sign_in_submitted` to still fire (validation failures count as attempts). Observed: event fired with 201 and no auth call followed. - [x] Click "Continue with GitHub": expect `sign_in_submitted` with `method: github` on the wire before the provider redirect. Observed: the POST completed (201) before the browser landed on github.com, so the keepalive path holds. - [x] Negative case: fresh page load with no interaction fires no `sign_in_submitted`. - [x] Ingestion: all fired events (methods `email`, `github`, plus organic `sso` submits from a real login on the same preview) arrived in the staging project with the expected properties. - [x] Re-ran the email and GitHub paths on the scoped-keepalive build (`129bf8d`): both `sign_in_submitted` POSTs returned 201 (the GitHub one completed despite the provider redirect), and both events ingested into the staging project with the expected `method`/`category` properties. ## Linear - GROWTH-1165 (no `fixes` keyword on purpose: the evidence checks run on prod data post-deploy, and the issue closes manually after they pass) <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **New Features** * Improved sign-in protection with more reliable invisible CAPTCHA handling. * Added sign-in submission tracking across password, SSO, partner, custom OAuth, and external-provider flows. * Added detailed classification for authentication, validation, CAPTCHA, provider, and network errors. * **Bug Fixes** * Sign-in now stops safely and resets CAPTCHA when verification fails. * Improved error reporting for failed sign-in attempts, including redirects and OAuth flows. * Ensured sign-in telemetry is delivered reliably during OAuth redirects. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |
