## Problem
Editing a column from the schema visualiser requires many clicks
## Solution
When hovering over a column in the schema visualiser, an edit button
should appear on the right side. Clicking this button should open the
column edit pane on the right side of the screen. This would reduce the
number of clicks required and allow users to make edits directly from
the visualiser instead of using it only as a visual aid.
## Problem
The `tableCreateGeneratePolicies` A/B experiment tested an AI-assisted
policy generator (`RLSManagement`) as a variation in the table creation
side panel. The variation didn't pass — control wins, so the standard
RLS checkbox should be the permanent behavior.
## Changes
- Deleted `useTableCreateGeneratePolicies` hook (PostHog flag + exposure
tracking)
- Deleted the entire `RLSManagement/` component directory (variation UI
— `RLSManagement`, `PolicyList`, `PolicyListEmptyState`,
`ToggleRLSButton`)
- Removed experiment flag checks from `TableEditor.tsx` — RLS checkbox
is now always rendered (was already the control)
- Removed experiment conversion tracking from `SidePanelEditor.tsx`
## Testing
Verified `pnpm typecheck` passes clean. Table creation side panel
renders the RLS checkbox unconditionally as it did in the control.
GROWTH-653
JSON column viewer looks fine on dark mode, but barely visible on light
mode, especially when the value is of string type.
There are no colors that can satisfy the 4.5:1 contrast ratio (minimum
requirement for web and digital accessibility) on both white and black
background, so I had to pick different classes for ight mode (dark mode
is fine, I checked the colors against the dark background and the
contrast is good).
Even though the new colors may not look that contrasting to each other,
I prioritized accessibility, and made sure they all complied with the
4.5:1 contrast ratio.

- make sure the existing (feature flag off) settings work as expected
- make sure exposing and removing schemas works in the new mode
- make sure exposing and removing tables works in the new mode
- ideally try with a lot of tables to check search and infinite scroll
work as expected
- try exposing a schema without any tables (like `graphql_public`) and
make sure it doesn't get removed randomly when editing tables
- try with a table with custom permissions (for example `REVOKE SELECT
ON public.posts FROM anon;`) and make sure the user is informed with the
tooltip

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Form handling improvement.
## What is the current behavior?
https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/43201/ standardised our
discard changes behaviour with a shared hook and
`DiscardChangesConfirmationDialog` component. But many forms and sheets
still:
1. Don’t have any Discard-confirm close behaviour, making it too easy to
make accidental discards
2. Use a more complicated, manually-created `CloseConfirmationModal`
approach
## What is the new behavior?
- Replaced all instances of `#2` above that had `CloseConfirmationModal`
with `DiscardChangesConfirmationDialog` and its hook
- Improved design system documentation around dirty form dismissal

## Context
Part of dashboard scalability project
Opting to use the connection string of the project's read replica (if
available) for read queries on the database.
Trialing with the Table Editor as a first pass - changes involved will
opt to use replica connection string for `useTableRowsQuery`,
`useTableRowsCountQuery`, and `useForeignKeyConstraintsQuery`
There's definitely optimizations to be done for deciding which replica
to use - but am starting off with a rather naive logic to prioritize
replicas in the same region as the project.
## Changes involved
- We're no longer passing `connectionString` as a param into the
affected hooks, the `connectionString` is derived from within those
hooks instead
- Change is feature flagged, so things should be status quo if flag is
off (use primary database's connection string)
- Added `useConnectionStringForReadOps` hook which returns the replica's
connection string if (Otherwise defaults to primary database connection
string)
- Feature flag is on
- Project has a replica available
## To test
- [ ] Verify that the table editor works as expected for a project that
has read replicas (There shouldn't be any change really)
- [ ] Also just double check that updating cells in the table editor
works as well (There's no change there, we're using the primary DB's
connection string for mutation ops)
- [ ] ^ Same thing for a project that doesn't have read replicas
- [ ] ^ Same thing for local / self-host
## Context
Main fix is to adjust the new home page + connect dialog (and connect
sheet) to render the project's custom domain if available
<img width="471" height="255" alt="image"

src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/2a7b8f81-8c0b-4803-bf0a-fc16a2f1e0e1"
/>
## Changes involved
- Created a `useProjectApiUrl` hook that will return the API URL
depending if custom domains is available, otherwise default to default
project API URL
- Refactored all the other places that were manually deriving the
project's endpoint
- Storage Explorer -> copy URL
- Edge Functions
- Integrations -> Data API + API Docs
- Auth Providers -> Callback URL
- Also updated the copy CTA for the addons page
- Instead of just "Change xxx", make it a bit more actionable
- For add ons with binary states (Custom domains, IPv4)
- If not enabled yet, "Enable xxx", otherwise "Toggle xxx"
- For PITR
- If not enabled yet, "Enable PITR", otherwise "Change recovery
duration"
- Also added "Edit custom domain" CTA if enabled

src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/4f152ea5-0cc7-412c-95e8-ad5bb37c19c3"
/>
## To test
- [ ] Verify that for a project with custom domain set up, all the
affected UI mentioned in the above section look correct
Feature / Refactor
## What is the current behavior?
Data API docs live at the `/api` route as a standalone page. Old links
point to the previous location.
## What is the new behavior?
Data API docs are moved to the integrations section with a dedicated
docs tab and settings tab. Old links are cleaned up, a mobile menu is
added for data API docs navigation, and minor code review fixes are
applied.
## Additional context
Resolves FE-2517

## Context
Started to notice a spike of this error happening on Sentry:
`TypeError: Failed to execute 'appendChild' on 'Node': parameter 1 is
not of type 'Node'.`
Checking the stack trace points the error to `cmdk` - the most recent
change related to `cmdk` was this PR
[here](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/42277)
^ Not entirely suer if it was the cause tbh but it did help pinpoint the
error locally that it was happening when trying to search in the
`ColumnType` popover
From what I can tell - it's happening because of the `CommandItem`
"Other types" being rendered outside of a `CommandGroup`
Am removing that as the fix + add `heading` to the `CommandGroups` so
that it looks nicer anyways

## To test
Can reproduce by trying to search in the ColumnType of the table side
panel editor

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Improvements**
* Enhanced the column type selector with better visual organization.
Data types are now grouped into clearly labeled sections ("Postgres data
types" and "Other types") with visual separators, making it easier to
navigate and select the appropriate column type when editing tables.

## Context
Related to this PR
[here](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/42265)
If you were to update a cell twice, then save, the value that get's
saved is the first edited value.
There's a number of changes in this PR but the main thing is just
`useOperationQueueActions` to declare `operations` outside of
`handleSave` since `snap` wouldn't trigger the re-render of that
function in the dependency array.
## Other changes
- Refactored `useOperationQueueShortcuts.ts`
- Reuse an existing `useHotKey` method to handle the event listeners
- Remove unnecessary prop drilling, call the necessary hooks within it
instead
- Simplify its calling by only calling this hook within
`SaveQueueActionBar` (removed calling from `OperationQueueSidePanel`
- Add tooltip for OperatioItem "Remove operation"
- (Unrelated) Fix Table Editor sort "Apply sort" CTA not working for
large tables when applying sort on an indexed column (e.g primary key)

* **Bug Fixes**
* Sort operations on large tables with non-primary-key sorting now show
a confirmation warning and require explicit user approval before
applying
* **Improvements**
* Operation queue panel automatically closes after successfully saving
operations
* Enhanced UI with improved delete action feedback and refined visual
separators

Exporting all rows (in CSV, SQL, or JSON format) currently uses offset pagination, which can cause performance problems if the table is large. There is also a correctness problem if the table is being actively updated as the export happens, because the relative row offsets could shift between queries.
Now that composite filters are available in postgres-meta, we can change to using cursor pagination on the primary key (or any non-null unique keys) wherever possible. Where this is not possible, the user will be shown a confirmation dialog explaining the possible performance impact.
