## Problem
The input groups components introduced in #44282 don't have the
validation attributes when invalid. This hurts accessibility and also
break the design:
<img width="1730" height="324" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/a3fb8d86-f3a8-46bb-aa53-d0599c11f056"
/>
## Solution
This is because the wrapper `<FormControl_Shadcn_>` passes the
validation props to its direct child.
The solution is to avoid applying them on the `<InputGroup>` and to
apply them manually on the inputs.
I also fixed a small accessibility issue by moving the addon texts after
the input so that screen readers announce them in the correct order. No
visual change for this

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Style**
* Unified numeric input layout by moving unit labels/suffixes (e.g.,
"seconds", "GB", "%", "connections", "digits", "IOPS", "MB/s", "rows")
to appear after their inputs for a consistent, predictable form
appearance.
* **Accessibility**
* Form controls now expose IDs and ARIA attributes from form context
when available, improving screen-reader descriptions and error
association.

## Problem
The "INSERTED AT (UTC)" column in the Database Migrations UI showed
local time instead of UTC. For a user in Buenos Aires (UTC-3), a
migration timestamped at UTC 08:33:31 would show 05:33:31 in the table.
The tooltip's relative time also showed "in 3 hours" (future) for a
migration that had already run, because the UTC offset was applied in
the wrong direction.
Root cause: `parseMigrationVersion` parsed the version string (format
`YYYYMMDDHHmmss`, which the Supabase CLI generates in UTC) using
`dayjs()` without the UTC flag, so dayjs interpreted the digits as local
time.
## Fix
- Changed `parseMigrationVersion` to use `dayjs.utc()` so the version
string is correctly interpreted as a UTC timestamp.
- Updated the label formatter in `Migrations.tsx` to use
`.utc().format()`, so the displayed time matches the column header
("INSERTED AT (UTC)").
- Added the dayjs UTC plugin setup to the test file and added a
regression test that asserts `toISOString()` returns the correct UTC
time.

## How to test
- Set your browser/OS timezone to something other than UTC (e.g.
America/Buenos_Aires, UTC-3).
- Open the Database Migrations page for a project that has migrations.
- The "INSERTED AT (UTC)" column should show the UTC time matching the
version number digits (e.g. version `20260406083331` should show `06 Apr
2026, 08:33:31`).
- Hover over the timestamp. The tooltip should show the same value for
"UTC", a correctly offset value for your local timezone, and a relative
time that reflects the past (e.g. "3 hours ago", not "in 3 hours").

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Bug Fixes**
* Migration timestamps now parsed and displayed in UTC for consistent,
accurate labels; unparsable versions show "Unknown".
* **New Features**
* Improved migration version labeling for clearer, uniformly formatted
date/time shown in the UI.
* **Tests**
* Expanded tests for migration parsing and label formatting; test setup
updated for UTC handling.

Bug fix & feature
## What is the current behavior?
Customers with large schemas have trouble running:
pg-meta/{ref}/tables?include_columns=false
## What is the new behavior?
In the webhooks view some users with large schemas could not click a
table name as the underlying query times out. This just adds a light
weight query and fetches the table name
## Additional context

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Refactor**
* Optimized table name fetching in the database interface by introducing
an enhanced query mechanism that streams table metadata more efficiently
from the database.

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Design system and validation consistency update.
## What is the current behaviour?
`KeyValueFieldArray` already renders per-cell form messages, but each
consumer still decides its own validation rules. At the moment, some
consumers allow partially filled rows to submit silently, while Log
Drains now treats them as inline validation errors.
## What is the new behaviour?
This PR standardises the recommended partial-row behaviour for the
current `KeyValueFieldArray` consumers by introducing a shared
validation helper and using it from each form schema.
- adds `getKeyValueFieldArrayValidationIssues` alongside
`KeyValueFieldArray`
- keeps `KeyValueFieldArray` presentation-only and leaves validation in
consumer schemas
- shows inline errors when one side of a key/value row is filled and the
other is empty
- keeps fully empty rows as draft rows
- keeps duplicate-key validation in Log Drains, where it already applies
- updates the design-system docs and examples to describe the validation
pattern explicitly
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **New Features**
* Added reusable key/value validation utilities and public export; forms
now trim header/key/value inputs, show inline errors for partially
filled rows, and remove fully empty draft rows on submit.
* **Documentation**
* Clarified the field-array is rendering-only and added guidance for
placing validation in form schemas and handling draft rows.
* **Tests**
* Added unit and integration tests covering validation rules, duplicate
keys, trimming, draft-row stripping, and payload behavior.

## Context
For database extensions, previously dashboard would fire a separate call
just to retrieve the "default schema" for an extension via
`useDatabaseExtensionDefaultSchemaQuery` from the
`pg_available_extension_versions` table (the `schema` from this table
implies where the extension will be installed in)
## Changes involved
Am updating the `useDatabaseExtensionsQuery` to use a custom studio SQL
that will fetch this data in one request via a `LEFT JOIN`, so dashboard
no longer needs to fire a request to `pg_available_extension_versions`
each time we open the `EnableExtensionModal` since all the info we need
is loaded up front.
Have also validated that the cost of the custom studio SQL is low (6.8,
via explain analyze) so performance wise on the project's DB should be
okay.
This will then also allow us to correctly render the "default schema" of
the extensions in the new Install Integration Sheet now that we have
that information up front.
## Misc fix
Also fixed a small issue on the database extensions page whereby if you
searched for an extension that's hidden (e.g pg_tle), there's no "No
results" UI state showing up
<img width="1112" height="319" alt="image"

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **New Features**
* Per-extension default schema detection surfaced across install flows;
default schema options added to selectors when applicable.
* **Bug Fixes**
* Hidden extensions filtered out earlier so they no longer appear in
lists.
* Install button now correctly disables when required extensions are
missing.
* **Refactor**
* Consolidated extensions metadata retrieval and simplified schema
selection/validation logic; UI text formatting standardized.

This PR moves several components which rely on `next` out of the `ui`
package to the `ui-patterns` package.
`ui-patterns` package is intented to be imported with specific imports
so it's ok if there are components reliant on `next` in there.
The `SonnerToaster` component has removed its dependency by requiring a
prop for `theme`.
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
UI improvements. Resolves DEPR-419.
## What is the current behavior?
- `ColumnList` splits type information across separate `Data Type` and
`Format` columns, which makes scanning less efficient
- The list only surfaces a limited subset of column metadata up front,
so key structural information like primary keys, foreign keys,
uniqueness, and identity is not easy to scan
- Constraint and nullability affordances are not aligned with the visual
language already used in the Table Editor and Schema Visualiser
## What is the new behavior?
- `ColumnList` now shows a leading type affordance icon, while keeping
the exact Postgres type visible in the `Type` column
- The standalone `Data Type` column is removed, and `format` is now the
primary textual type shown in the table
- The `Constraints` column now surfaces explicit icon-plus-label tokens
for:
- `Primary`
- `Foreign key`
- `Unique`
- `Identity`
- `Nullable` / `Non-nullable`
- Constraint tokens use a purpose-built segmented style based on
`ComputeBadge`, including a green primary variant for primary keys
- Nullability now matches Schema Visualiser semantics exactly: outlined
diamond for nullable, filled diamond for non-nullable
- Existing search, descriptions, row actions, and permission gating are
preserved

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
UI improvements
## What is the current behavior?
- The database tables list and columns list use inconsistent page shells
and table primitives
- The child columns page has weaker information hierarchy and row
actions than the parent tables page
- Responsive column priority on the tables list does not reflect the
most important data on smaller breakpoints
- Table actions and counts are harder to scan than they should be
## What is the new behavior?
- Both pages now use `PageLayout` with matching large-width content
containers
- `ColumnList` now uses the latest `ui` Table primitives instead of the
legacy cleaned-up-later table
- Both pages now show totals in a table footer
- `ColumnList` now uses a tiny filter input, case-insensitive filtering,
inline descriptions under the name, and a primary `Edit` button with
overflow actions
- `TableList` now has improved responsive column priority:
- smallest breakpoint keeps `Rows`
- `Columns` appears from `sm`
- `Size` appears from `lg`
- `Realtime Enabled` appears from `2xl`
- `TableList` now uses `View columns` as the CTA, removes the ambiguous
icon from that CTA, restores the entity icon from `sm` upwards only, and
tightens the name column on the smallest breakpoint only
- Boolean icon columns are right-aligned consistently, with the same
Realtime icon tones applied to both `Realtime Enabled` and `Nullable`
- The columns detail page now uses breadcrumbs for navigation back to
Tables instead of an inline back button

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Chore that references DEPR-394.
## What is the current behavior?
This stack is consolidating RHF key/value array UIs in smaller
reviewable steps.
After PR 1, Database Webhooks HTTP parameters and Database Functions
configuration parameters still use separate bespoke implementations.
## What is the new behavior?
- reuses the shared `KeyValueFieldArray` for Database Webhooks HTTP
parameters
- reuses the shared `KeyValueFieldArray` for Database Functions
configuration parameters
- keeps existing form shapes and submission logic intact
- adds focused tests for those two follow-up consumers

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Chore that references DEPR-394.
## What is the current behavior?
Key/value editors for headers are implemented separately in multiple
places.
## What is the new behavior?
DEPR-394 is consolidating repeated RHF field-array UIs across Studio and
the design system.
- adds a shared `KeyValueFieldArray` component in `ui-patterns`
- adds a shared `httpHeaderAddActions` helper for preset header rows
- migrates the key/value header editors in:
- Platform Webhooks
- Cron Jobs HTTP headers
- Database Webhooks HTTP headers
- documents the key/value pattern in the design system with:
- a dedicated fragment page
- updated forms guidance
- updated form pattern demos

## Summary
Fixes several high-impact Sentry errors reported in production.
### Fixed Issues
- **[SUPABASE-APP-EJ3](https://supabase.sentry.io/issues/7356937474/)**
— `TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'direct')`.
`connectionStringPooler` could be `undefined` when the connection source
doesn't match any key in the connection strings map. Added an early
return guard in `resolveConnectionString`.
- **[SUPABASE-APP-B17](https://supabase.sentry.io/issues/7117468199/)**
— `RangeError: Invalid time zone specified: Etc/Unknown`.
`dayjs.tz.guess()` returns `"Etc/Unknown"` for some users with
misconfigured browser/OS timezones. Added a shared
`guessLocalTimezone()` helper that validates the guessed timezone via
`Intl.DateTimeFormat` and falls back to UTC. Applied across all 4 call
sites.
- **[SUPABASE-APP-BCM](https://supabase.sentry.io/issues/7192934901/)**
— `TypeError: Cannot convert undefined or null to object`.
`Object.entries(definition.properties)` crashed when a JSON schema
definition existed but had no `properties` field. Updated the guard to
check `definition?.properties` instead of just `definition`.

## Test plan
- [ ] Verify connect dialog renders without errors when connection data
is still loading
- [ ] Verify API docs Entity view handles schema definitions without
properties
- [ ] Verify charts/tooltips display correct timezone labels

## Problem
When you have many tables, it's hard to follow the relations between

## Solution
When selecting an edge (the line between tables), highlight it along
with the related tables and columns to make it easier.
Also, if there is enough space, display a popover showing the relation
details

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Bug fix.
## What is the current behavior?
Webhook endpoint validation is inconsistent across Studio forms. The
webhook sheet accepts incomplete hostnames like `https://webhook`, event
type validation is not surfaced clearly, and HTTP endpoint validation
differs between webhooks, log drains, cron jobs, and database hooks.
## What is the new behavior?
- Tightens webhook endpoint URL validation and rejects incomplete
hostnames while still allowing localhost and IP-based endpoints.
- Surfaces the Event types validation through the standard form error
styling and highlights the existing accordion item border when invalid.
- **Extracts a shared HTTP endpoint URL validator and reuses it in
webhooks, log drains, cron jobs, and database hooks.**
- Adds focused regression tests for the webhook sheet and the
shared/consumer validation paths.

- Webhook endpoint
- Log drains
- Cron jobs
- Database hooks
This PR fixes some prettier issues:

- Bump the SQL prettier plugin
- When running `test:prettier`, check `mdx` files also
- Run the new prettier format on all files

## Problem
- The schema visualiser lacks editing capabilities which leads to a lot
of navigation (ediing tables, columns)
- ReactFlow prevents users from selecting table and column names (to
copy them). Diasbling drag and pan on those texts would make moving
items cumbersome
- Long table and column names are hidden and even hide other elements
## Solution
- Add menus for both tables and columns
- Truncate long names with ellipsis and add a tooltip
- Hide menus when exporting to png/svg

## Context
Small one - while on the database replication page, if you open the
Connect Dialog and change the "type" field, the destination panel opens
up. Happening cause the string for `useQueryState` conflicts here - both
are using `type`
Fix is just to update the string for `useQueryState` for the
DestinationPanel component, changed it to `destinationType`
## Context
Related to dashboard scalability
Previous PR: https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/42856
Note: Changes are all feature flagged still and I'm still not entirely
convinced with the current UX
Will iterate as as go along, and only make this publicly available when
we're satisfied with the behaviour
Adds a "Dashboard preference" section to the project settings
<img width="265" height="740" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/6ce1aa19-26c2-47c6-a9c4-595137266631"
/>
In which users can then select which database they'd like to use for
read queries run from the dashboard
Note: Everything is local storage for now, but we'd need middleware
support if we want to make this setting persist for all users on the
project
<img width="791" height="434" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/e651d6d9-fed4-4da4-b552-c9f93f8d46d3"
/>
Added a dialog as well to further explain what this implies
<img width="610" height="312" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/0aa957af-cb51-476f-aa79-8948a7cbe5ae"
/>
## To test
- Choosing a replica in dashboard preferences will only affect the table
editor as thats the only place that's set up so far to use a replica for
read queries (I'll need to follow up for other parts of the dashboard in
subsequent PRs)
## Problem
Editing a column from the schema visualiser requires many clicks
## Solution
When hovering over a column in the schema visualiser, an edit button
should appear on the right side. Clicking this button should open the
column edit pane on the right side of the screen. This would reduce the
number of clicks required and allow users to make edits directly from
the visualiser instead of using it only as a visual aid.
## Problem
- database e2e tests run in serial mode, which is slower
- they also are a bit flaky
## Solution
- Ensure they can run in parallel
- Make them more stable by using UI checks when waiting
- Use assertions that automatically wait/retry in playwright
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Form handling improvement.
## What is the current behavior?
https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/43201/ standardised our
discard changes behaviour with a shared hook and
`DiscardChangesConfirmationDialog` component. But many forms and sheets
still:
1. Don’t have any Discard-confirm close behaviour, making it too easy to
make accidental discards
2. Use a more complicated, manually-created `CloseConfirmationModal`
approach
## What is the new behavior?
- Replaced all instances of `#2` above that had `CloseConfirmationModal`
with `DiscardChangesConfirmationDialog` and its hook
- Improved design system documentation around dirty form dismissal

## Context
In the new project home page, we have a stat for "Last migration" which
we're showing _when_ the last migration was applied. However:
- The timestamp for the migration is derived from the "version" column
of the migration (in the `supabase_migrations` table) which afaik is
derived from the migration's file name
- It'll be alright if the migration was generated via the CLI, but we
can't really enforce the name of the migration file if say they were
generated via AI, so this is technically a point of flakiness
- Reckon that it's more value to show _what_ was the last migration
rather than _when_ so opting to change the value here to show the name
of the last migration instead

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
UI update
## What is the current behavior?
- The vast majority of projects now have physical backups, not logical
- Physical backups are not downloadable
- But we show a disabled `Download` button for each physical backup
- This button has confusing multi-step instructions about `pg_dump` that
are
[inaccurate](https://supabase.slack.com/archives/C02BJ2239GA/p1771979586829419?thread_ts=1771887878.203199&cid=C02BJ2239GA)
## What is the new behavior?
- We only show the (enabled) `Download` button for logical backups

## Additional context
Support believes removing the button entirely will have less of a burden
than a better tooltip explanation.
## Context
In database/tables (Schema visualizer), if the schema has no tables,
clicking on "Auto layout" causes a client error as we're trying to run
the `dagre.layout` on a graph with 0 nodes and edges
Opting to hide all actions on the Schema Visualizer if there's no tables
(understandably we've been leaning towards disabled states rather than
hiding, but in this case i was thinking hiding is better since that's an
empty state - unless some actions were applicable in the empty state,
but in this case none of the actions are)

## Context
Related to FE-2461
More refactoring to clean up usage of `useQueryStateWithSelect`, mainly
in the database pages
- Roles
- Triggers
- Functions
- Enumerated Types
## To test
In each of those pages, verify that
- [ ] Clicking the "new" cta updates the URL params, and refreshing
should re-open the sheet
- [ ] Editing an existing item should update URL params, and refreshing
should re-open the sheet with the right item
- Verify that if the URL param has the wrong id, page should not open
the sheet, show a toast, and reset the URL param
- [ ] Deleting an existing item should update URL params, and refreshing
should re-open the sheet with the right item
- Verify that if the URL param has the wrong id, page should not open
the sheet, show a toast, and reset the URL param
