Danny White d067e81a69 fix(ui): align primary colours across text, buttons, and controls (#50697)
## Problem

Primary colour serves readable text and selected controls, but those
uses need different shades. Light mode needs darker text, while dark
mode needs a deeper button fill. Fixed brand green on interactive chrome
also prevents a custom primary hue from carrying through the interface.
Some slider tracks and selected text are hard to read.

## Solution

- Keep `--primary` for accessible text and small selected indicators.
Use `--primary-solid` for button fills, which need a deeper shade in
dark mode.
- Add `--primary-bright` for focus rings, selected control chrome, chart
accents, and other interactive highlights. It follows `--primary-hue`;
`brand-*` stays fixed for Supabase identity.
- Make slider troughs clearer and text selection translucent with theme
foreground text.
- Document the split in the design-system colour guide.

## Review instructions

1. Compare light and dark mode in the [colour usage
guide](https://design-system-git-dnywh-fix-bright-brand-chrome-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/color-usage#primary-and-brand-colors).
Check primary ink, primary-solid, primary-bright, and fixed brand
swatches.
2. In Studio, open the ‘new table’ sheet in [Table
Editor](https://studio-staging-git-dnywh-fix-bright-brand-chrome-supabase.vercel.app/dashboard/project/_/editor).
Tab through the new table sheet's fields and toggles. Check the focus
rings, selected controls, and the sheet's edges in both themes. You do
not need to save a table.
3. Select text in Studio in both themes, including a link or
primary-coloured label. The selection and text should remain legible.
4. Check the
[Field](https://design-system-git-dnywh-fix-bright-brand-chrome-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/components/field)
Price Range slider: the unused track should remain visible in both
themes. The selected field card border should follow primary-bright.
5. Check the
[Button](https://design-system-git-dnywh-fix-bright-brand-chrome-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/components/button)
and [Radio
Group](https://design-system-git-dnywh-fix-bright-brand-chrome-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/components/radio-group)
previews. In dark mode, `primary` button fill should be deeper than
primary
[text](https://design-system-git-dnywh-fix-bright-brand-chrome-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/color-usage#text);
selected radios should remain readable.

7fce0a12d9 feat(design-system): first pass at db report chart colours (#46787)
## I have read the
[CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md)
file.

YES

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

This is a first draft at introducing semantic colours to our
Observability charts. This moves away from just random colours being
assigned to prop after prop. They're only scoped to the Database reports
right now, but if it flows nice, we can open it up to the other reports
too.

This also aims to tone down some of the harsher colours in our charts,
such as the orange which sometimes can look like a warning metric/prop.

Jordi Enric c228ca4f61 fix(studio): restore function deployment annotations FE-3921 (#50362)
## Problem

The Edge Function overview converted the numeric deployment timestamp to
a string before parsing it as a date. This produced an invalid date, so
the invocations chart omitted the deployment annotation.

## Fix

Preserve the numeric timestamp returned by the API and allow the
annotation helper to parse both numeric and string timestamps. Show
deployment details in an accessible tooltip when hovering or focusing
the rocket marker, and add regression coverage for numeric timestamps
and the existing invalid, missing, and out-of-range cases.

## How to test

- Run the focused EdgeFunctionOverview utility test suite.
- Open an Edge Function whose latest deployment is within the selected
chart interval.
- Hover or focus the rocket marker.
- Expected result: the invocations chart shows the dashed deployment
line and rocket marker, and the marker tooltip shows the deployment
time.

## Summary by CodeRabbit

- **Bug Fixes**
- Invocation update annotations now display correctly when function
update times are provided as numbers.
  - Timestamps at the start of the Unix epoch are now supported.
- Annotations no longer appear when update times are invalid or chart
data is incomplete.

- **Accessibility**
- Deployment markers in invocation charts are now keyboard-focusable and
include accessible labels.
  - Deployment timestamps are available in a tooltip on hover or focus.

Jordi Enric 24f8549e41 fix(studio): open edge function logs from chart clicks FE-3922 (#50364)
## Problem

Clicking an invocation bar on the Edge Function overview did not
preserve the selected chart segment, so the destination could not open a
focused investigation window.

## Fix

Forward the clicked bar timestamp and navigate to Logs or Invocations
with an encoded, focused time range. Share the existing chart range
calculation and add real Recharts interaction coverage.

## How to test

- Open an Edge Function Overview page with invocation data.
- Click a populated bar in the Total Invocations chart.
- Expected result: Logs or Invocations opens with its and ite query
parameters centered on the clicked bar.
- Repeat with unified logs enabled and disabled to verify both
destinations.

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->

## Summary by CodeRabbit

- **New Features**
- Clicking a bar in the Edge Function invocations chart now opens the
relevant logs or invocations view.
- The destination is focused on a time window surrounding the selected
invocation, making investigation faster.
- Chart bars now provide a pointer cursor to indicate they are
interactive.

- **Bug Fixes**
- Chart clicks without valid invocation data no longer trigger incorrect
navigation.

Danny White 484726a45c fix(studio): warning colours broken in light mode after colour migration (#47660)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

UI bug fix

## What is the current behavior?

After the colour system migration (#47288), `--warning-default` was
removed in light mode in favour of the semantic `--warning` token.
Several studio call sites still referenced
`hsl(var(--warning-default))`, which resolves to an invalid colour in
light mode.

This caused warning segments in stacked bar charts (e.g. Realtime on
project overview v2) to render black instead of amber, with missing
tooltip swatches. The colour appeared to "fix itself" on hover because
the dimmed state used `--warning-500`, which is still defined.

## What is the new behaviour?

Studio consumers that referenced the removed token now point at tokens
that still resolve in light mode. Chart warnings use new app-level
`--chart-warning` / `--chart-warning-muted` variables (stepped scale,
theme-aware) rather than the removed `--warning-default`.

We only update **Studio app consumers** that were still calling the old
token:

- `LogsBarChart` → `--chart-warning` tokens
- `apps/studio/styles/globals.css` → defines those chart tokens + fixes
`--sidebar-primary-foreground`
- A handful of chart/tooltip call sites in Studio
(`EdgeFunctionOverview`, `UnifiedLogs`, etc.)
- Table editor dirty cell text → `--warning-600` (still on the stepped
scale)

## To test

Use a hosted project that already has warnings on project home (e.g.
Realtime with a non-zero warnings count). Switch Studio to **light
mode**.

1. Open **Project home** (`newHomepageUsageDeltas` flag enabled).
2. Find a service card with warnings in **Project usage**.
3. Confirm warning bar segments are amber/orange (not black), tooltip
swatches show amber, and hover does not flip them black.
4. Quick dark mode sanity check. Should look unchanged.

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **Style**
* Standardized warning-series and highlight colors across charts, logs,
countdown timers, and interface indicators using the shared theme tokens
(`--chart-warning` / `--chart-warning-muted`).
* Refreshed warning-related theme wiring for both light and dark modes,
including sidebar foreground color.
* **Bug Fixes**
* Updated “dirty” table cell text color to align with the revised
warning palette.

Attempts to improve our edge function overview pages to provide stronger
insights into the health of a function, including reliability (error
rates), performance (execution times) and usage (cpu and memory).

As part of this work it refactors existing charts to use our new chart
components.

main consideration is the collective performance of error queries
https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/44009/changes#diff-2a79cf61c5397a8ef363c333229fa7729a2efc90a4d8e0806e49c212d5aa97e7

## To test:
1. Create an edge function that errors out randomly across requests. You
can use cron to poll this function every second.
2. View the edge function and on the overview page confirm that errors
are showing and grouped correctly in recent failed invocations sections.
