## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Chore / dependency tooling update.
## What is the current behavior?
The repo is pinned to pnpm 10.24.0. Closes
https://linear.app/supabase/issue/FE-3673/migrate-the-repo-to-use-pnpm-v11.
## What is the new behavior?
The repo is pinned to pnpm 11.13.1, pnpm v11 workspace settings are
migrated to `allowBuilds`, and the Studio Dockerfile installs pnpm
11.13.1.
## Additional context
Validated with `CI=true mise exec node@22 -- pnpm install
--frozen-lockfile`, `mise exec node@22 -- pnpm run typecheck`, and `mise
exec node@22 -- pnpm run lint`; full Prettier check still fails on
existing generated docs/router files outside this migration.

## I have read the
[CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md)
file.
YES
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Feature enhancement
## What is the current behavior?
The features page filters search results by simple substring matching,
treating all matches equally. Features are then sorted alphabetically
regardless of search relevance.
## What is the new behavior?
Search results are now ranked by relevance using a weighted scoring
system:
- Title matches starting with the search term score highest (5 points)
- Title substring matches score 4 points
- Subtitle matches score 2 points
- Description matches score 1 point
Results are sorted by relevance score (highest first), with alphabetical
ordering as a tiebreaker. This ensures users see the most relevant
features first when searching.
## Additional context
The implementation adds:
- `SEARCH_WEIGHT` constant defining the relevance weights for different
match types
- `getSearchScore()` function that calculates a feature's relevance to a
search term
- Updated filtering and sorting logic that uses relevance scoring
The weights are carefully chosen so that any title match always ranks
above features that only match in subtitle/description, improving search
quality without requiring complex algorithms.

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Bug fix
## What is the current behavior?
The "Join us on Discord" buttons are broken in two places:
- **Studio support sidebar** (`HelpPanel`): on light mode the button
background is not white, so the intended white button with purple icon
and text is broken.
- **www `/support` page** (shared `secondary` button variant): the text
disappears on hover, and the Discord icon is never rendered (always
invisible). Both issues occur on light and dark mode.
## What is the new behavior?
- **Studio support sidebar**: force a white background on all colour
schemes via `bg-white hover:bg-white/90`, matching the existing pattern
in `DiscordCTACard`. The purple icon and text now render correctly on
light mode.
- **Shared `secondary` button variant** (`packages/ui`):
- The icon container used `text-border-muted`, which blended into the
`bg-foreground` button, so the icon was invisible. Changed to
`text-background` to match the button's text colour.
- The hover state used `text-border-stronger`, which had no contrast
against the background, so text disappeared on hover. Changed to
`text-background/80`.
- Removed the ineffective `fill="var(--background-default)"` from
`IconDiscord` on the `/support` page — the SVG path uses `currentColor`,
so the fill prop had no effect.
These `secondary` variant fixes apply globally, so other secondary
buttons benefit too.

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Bug fix + small shared component
## What is the current behavior?
After the recent colour system changes, several UI elements lost
contrast in light mode:
- `InfoIcon` with a background appeared as a flat grey circle (glyph
fill matched the background)
- Several buttons forced `text-white`, which no longer contrasts
correctly against the updated brand fills
- Selected / completed check badges were inconsistent between call sites
## What is the new behavior?
- `InfoIcon` uses `text-background` for the glyph fill so the "i" is
visible against the grey circle
- www primary buttons drop hardcoded `text-white` and use standard
`Button` colours
- New shared `SuccessCheck` in `ui` for selected state and completion
progress (green circle; white check in light mode, black check in dark
mode)
- Documented in the design system with selected + progress examples
Note on `InfoIcon`:
[#47933](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/47933) landed a
related fix using `text-background-200` (`--card`). This PR keeps
`text-background` instead, to match `CheckIcon` / `EyeOffIcon` in the
same file and avoid the legacy alias.

## To test
Use the staging preview link from this PR and check the following in
**light mode** (and spot-check dark mode):
**www**
- Visit `/404` — "Head back" button should have readable text (not
white-on-green)
- Visit `/company` — "Join the team" button in the Team section
- Visit a product page with a hero CTA (e.g. `/database`, `/realtime`) —
primary "Start for free" button
**studio**
- Database → Replication → deploy a read replica — footer `InfoIcon`
next to the pricing line should show a visible "i" inside the grey
circle
- `/redeem` — select an org; green `SuccessCheck` should match
light/dark contrast (white check / black check)
- Settings → API → service role key row — red "secret" tag text should
be readable
**design system**
- `/docs/components/success-check` — demo, selected-state, and progress
examples

## Summary
Removes two pieces of dead telemetry code found while root-causing the
docs pageview re-fire investigation (GROWTH-997, closed with no fix
needed). Pure deletion, 30 lines, no behavior change.
## Changes
- Delete `apps/www/app/ConsentWrapper.tsx`: an unwired third
`PageTelemetry` mount. www already mounts `PageTelemetry` in
`pages/_app.tsx` (Pages Router) and `app/providers.tsx` (App Router);
nothing imports this wrapper.
- Remove the exported `POSTHOG_URL` constant from
`apps/studio/lib/constants/index.ts`: zero consumers. The CSP allowlist
in `apps/studio/csp.ts` defines and uses its own local `POSTHOG_URL`,
which stays.
## Testing
Deadness verified before deletion, on current master:
- [x] Repo-wide grep for `ConsentWrapper`: only self-references inside
the deleted file
- [x] Repo-wide grep for `POSTHOG_URL`: remaining references are the
`csp.ts` local const only

### Context
Our TS check GHA occasionally runs into GH rate limits because of
`fetchAgentSkills`
### Changes involved
- Opting to omit `fetchAgentSkills` for typecheck
- `generateStaticContent` is needed still afaict
- Allow GITHUB_TOKEN to be passed for `generateStaticContent`
- And pass that env var from `typecheck.yml`

## Summary by CodeRabbit
- **Improvements**
- Enhanced reliability of GitHub-powered content during site builds.
- GitHub API requests now use secure authentication when a token is
available, improving consistency and reducing rate-limit risk.
- Repository star and agent-skill loading continues to work gracefully
without token access.
- **Chores**
- Streamlined the type-check workflow to use a leaner content build
before running TypeScript checks.
- Passed the GitHub token through relevant CI task environments to
enable authenticated requests.

## I have read the
[CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md)
file.
YES
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Bug fix.
## What is the current behavior?
Partner slugs were renamed from underscores to hyphens, but the redirect
map only got partially updated. #46264 added entries for `refine_dev`
and `supabase_wrapper_stripe`. Four others were missed and still hard
404, even though their replacement pages are live:
| 404s today | Replacement page (200) |
|---|---|
| `/partners/integrations/atomic_crm` |
`/partners/integrations/atomic-crm` |
| `/partners/integrations/sequin_io` | `/partners/integrations/sequin` |
| `/partners/integrations/supabase_wrapper_bigquery` |
`/partners/integrations/bigquery-wrapper` |
| `/partners/integrations/supabase_wrapper_firebase` |
`/partners/integrations/firebase-wrapper` |
These are the URLs Google has indexed and that external sites link to,
so that traffic lands on an error page instead of the partner. Roughly
1.3k pageviews/month.
Worth flagging for the reviewer: partner slugs come from the database,
not the codebase, so renaming one doesn't force a matching redirect
entry and nothing catches it at build time. This will happen again.
## What is the new behavior?
Four `permanent: true` redirects added to `apps/www/lib/redirects.js`,
matching the two that already exist in the partners block.
## Additional context
Found while [digging into a decline in /partners
traffic](https://supabase.slack.com/archives/C0161K73J1J/p1783931237132339).
This accounts for ~7% of that decline — the rest is happening on
healthy, indexed pages and is a separate question.
Not included here: a few partner URLs 404 with no replacement page
(`getstream_io`, `fezto`, `trevor_io`, `zapp_run`) — those partners look
genuinely gone. Pointing them at `/partners/integrations` would hold
onto more link equity than a hard 404, but that's a product call rather
than a bug fix. Happy to add if people want it.
Verified each old URL currently 404s and each destination returns 200.
No duplicate `source` entries introduced. Prettier passes.

## Summary
The `ChatGPT-User` live-fetch agent's user-facing reader hard-fails
(`(400) OK`) on pages we serve it as markdown via user-agent matching,
which made supabase.com blog and product pages unreadable in that
assistant. I root-caused this with a controlled fetch diagnostic
cross-checked against our request logs: the failing fetches never reach
our origin (the failure is cached on their side), pages served as plain
HTML read fine everywhere we tested, and the same failure reproduces on
other major sites that serve UA-matched markdown, so the reader bug is
upstream.
This PR removes user-agent-based markdown serving entirely rather than
special-casing one agent: UA sniffing is a guess about contractless
clients whose fetchers change without notice, and this incident showed
the failure mode is silent (we keep serving 200s while the user-facing
agent breaks). Markdown remains available on every explicit signal —
`Accept: text/markdown` q-value negotiation, explicit `.md` URLs, and
llms.txt — which is the same contract-driven model the Claude fetcher
already uses successfully (it sends `Accept: text/markdown, text/html,
*/*` and keeps receiving markdown after this change).
## Changes
- Remove the `LLM_USER_AGENT` regex and the `userAgent` parameter from
`negotiateMarkdown` in `packages/common/markdown-negotiation.ts`;
decisions now depend only on `Accept`, the `.md` suffix, and the
markdown-variant manifest
- Update both consuming middlewares (`apps/www`, `apps/docs`) to the new
signature; no behavior change for Accept-negotiated or `.md` requests
- Add the missing `Vary: Accept` header to docs guides-md 200 responses
(the www `api-v2/md` route already declares it)
- Fix a pre-existing www bug surfaced in review: explicit changelog
`.md` URLs rewrote to a doubled `.md.md` path (404) under a
markdown-preferring `Accept`, and 406'd on a non-matching `Accept`. The
www middleware now strips the `.md` suffix before slug lookup and passes
`isMarkdownSuffix` into `negotiateMarkdown`, folding the separate
`MD_PAGES` `.md` block into the single negotiation path (same shape as
the docs middleware)
- Rework tests: UA-independence suites replace the per-agent rewrite
tests; a probe Accept header now 406s regardless of user agent
(previously agent UAs were exempt); new changelog `.md` negotiation
coverage
## Testing
Tested locally:
- [x] www middleware suite 36/36, docs middleware suite 17/17
- [x] typecheck green for common, www, docs
Verified on the Vercel previews (www + docs) with curl:
- [x] `ChatGPT-User` and `Claude-User` UA GETs on blog/pricing/guide
pages return `text/html` with a default Accept
- [x] Claude's real Accept (`text/markdown, text/html, */*`) still
returns `text/markdown`; `Accept: text/markdown` and `.md` URLs return
`text/markdown`; probe Accept returns 406
- [x] `/changelog/<slug>.md` with `Accept: text/markdown` returns the
entry markdown as a direct 200 (production today detours through a 308
to the bare URL); changelog index `.md` and bare-entry Accept
negotiation also verified
- [x] docs guides markdown 200s carry `Vary: Accept`
The intermediate commit (ChatGPT-User-only exclusion) was already
verified on the preview: `ChatGPT-User` got HTML while
`Accept`/`.md`/other-UA markdown was unaffected.
Expected effects post-merge: UA-driven markdown volume in the request
logs (~92% of md traffic) collapses to the Accept + `.md` baseline;
named-agent page requests return to prerendered/static serving,
reversing the extra Vercel function invocations the UA rewrite
introduced; user-facing readability in the affected assistant recovers
within ~24h as its fetch cache revalidates. The md-share dashboard gets
a dated annotation; the ratio is not comparable across this change.

Some customer pages didn't show og-images properly because satori breaks
using svgs.
This PR replaces all customer logos from svgs to pngs.
They're all exported at least 2x to 4x so image quality shouldn't get
worse anywhere.

Upgrades the monorepo to TypeScript 7.0.2, released 2026-07-08. `tsc` is
now the native Go compiler
([announcement](https://devblogs.microsoft.com/typescript/announcing-typescript-7-0/))
— full turbo typecheck drops from ~56s to ~19s locally.
TS 7.0 ships **without a programmatic API** (it lands in 7.1), so this
uses Microsoft's recommended side-by-side setup: the `typescript` name
resolves to `@typescript/typescript6` (the 6.0 API republished) for API
consumers — typescript-eslint and Next.js build typechecking — while
`@typescript/native` (the real `typescript@7.0.2`) owns the `tsc` bin
that typecheck scripts run. Exactly one version of each is in the
lockfile; nothing imports the native package as a library. When 7.1 +
tool support lands we can collapse back to a single `typescript` dep in
the catalog.
**Changed:**
- `pnpm-workspace.yaml`: catalog aliases for `typescript` /
`@typescript/native`
- 17 package.json files: `@typescript/native` added beside each
`typescript` dep so every package's `tsc` is the native binary
- `apps/studio/tsconfig.json`: exclude `dist/` (gitignored build output)
from typechecking
**Fixed** (real type errors TS 6 under-reported):
- `packages/ui-patterns` CodeBlock: `borderLeft: null` → `undefined`
(`CSSProperties` doesn't accept null)
- `apps/www` CodeBlock: removed a JSX `@ts-ignore` comment that tsgo
doesn't honor and fixed what it masked (untyped `.js` theme objects,
possibly-undefined highlighter children)
⚠️ **Merge timing:** the new packages are inside pnpm's 3-day
`minimumReleaseAge` window until ~July 11. Installs from the committed
lockfile are unaffected (resolution is skipped), but anything that
forces a re-resolution before then will fail — hold off merging until
the window passes.
Note for editors: the compat package has no `lib/tsserver.js`, so VS
Code's "Use Workspace Version" won't work — use the bundled TS or the
TypeScript Native Preview extension.
## To test
- `pnpm install && pnpm typecheck` — all 15 tasks green, and
`./node_modules/.bin/tsc --version` prints 7.0.2
- `pnpm lint --filter=studio` — typescript-eslint still parses (resolves
the 6.0 API)
- `pnpm build --filter=design-system` (or any Next app) — Next's
tsconfig validation and build typecheck still work
- CodeBlock rendering on www (syntax highlighting, line highlights
with/without border) — the two fixes are behavior-neutral but worth an
eyeball

## Summary
On the homepage, the Postgres Database product card's elephant artwork
renders over the card's description text at every viewport ≥1280px. I
traced it to #47226 (merged June 24): standardizing the marketing
container to `section-container` (`max-w-7xl` + `xl:px-24`) capped
products-grid content at 1088px, shrinking the card to ~538px while its
fixed geometry (250px text column + 398px right-anchored square artwork
box) needs ~625px. Large monitors regressed hardest: before June 24 they
got ~676px cards and no overlap. The app-router homepage move (#47228),
the color system PR (#47288), and the artwork PNGs are all unrelated
(verified against production DOM and full diffs).
Two changes to the artwork span in `DatabaseVisual.tsx`:
1. Cap the box width at `calc(100% - 280px)` from `md` up, where 280
covers the text column's `md:max-w-[250px]` cap (in `ProductCard.tsx`'s
`isDatabase` branch) plus card padding and breathing room. The art
scales down through its existing `object-contain`. At md/lg the card is
full-width (`md:col-span-12`), so the clamp never binds and rendering is
unchanged there.
2. Remove the `xl:-right-12` bleed (base `right-0` stands, matching how
2xl already rendered). The bleed used to clip only the art's transparent
canvas margin; with the clamped box the art fills its full width, so the
48px offset was cropping the elephant itself at 1280-1535px.
The hover line-art SVG scales with the box and stays aligned with the
PNG (identical aspect ratios: viewBox 390:430, PNG 585x645).
## Changes
- Add `md:max-w-[calc(100%-280px)]` to the artwork span in
`DatabaseVisual.tsx` so the Postgres card art can never cross its text
column
- Drop `xl:-right-12 2xl:right-0` from the same span so the smaller art
isn't clipped at the card's right edge
## Testing
Round 1 on the Vercel preview (commit e1ca671, measured via
getBoundingClientRect + computed styles):
- [x] Art clear of the text column at 1280/1440/1600/1920 (gap 54px at
1280/1440, 6px at 1600/1920); computed `max-width: calc(100% - 280px)`
applies
- [x] Hover at 1440 — SVG and PNG rects identical (pixel-exact
alignment)
- [x] 768/1024 — full-width card unchanged, span still a 398px square
(clamp resolves but doesn't bind)
- [x] Light theme at 1440 — same geometry, no overlap
Round 1 also surfaced that the `xl:-right-12` bleed now cropped the
elephant at 1280-1535px widths → second commit removes it. Round 2
(commit e28b408):
- [x] 1280/1440/1512/1600/1920 — art fully visible (span right edge
flush at the card's inner edge, e.g. 713 vs 714 at 1440), still clear of
the text column (span left 457 vs text right 451)
- [x] 768/1024 — unchanged (span still a right-anchored 398px square)
- [x] Hover alignment still exact (PNG and SVG rects identical:
457,452,256,398)
## Linear

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Feature / content update to the Legal Hub (`apps/www`).
## What is the current behavior?
The `/legal` hub page (`apps/www/pages/legal/index.tsx`) has a single
section, "Partner Legal Resources." The customer-facing legal documents
(Terms of Service, Support Policy, Service Level Agreement) are only
reachable from the footer "Company" column, which is cluttered.
## What is the new behavior?
- Adds a new **"Customer Legal Resources"** section to the `/legal` hub,
placed **above** "Partner Legal Resources," with links to:
- Terms of Service → `/terms`
- Support Policy → `/support-policy`
- Service Level Agreement → `/sla`
These use the same formatting (document icon + link) as the existing
"Master Partner Program Agreement" entry.
- Removes those same three links (Terms of Service, Support Policy,
Service Level Agreement) from the footer **"Company"** column
(`apps/www/data/Footer.ts`) to declutter it. The "Legal" hub link,
Privacy Policy, Privacy Settings, and Acceptable Use Policy all remain.
The `/terms`, `/support-policy`, and `/sla` URLs are unchanged and
continue to operate exactly as they do today — this only changes where
they're surfaced in navigation.
Note: per discussion, the hidden `/enterprise-terms` page was
intentionally **not** linked from the public hub; it remains
`noindex/nofollow` and reachable only by direct URL.
## Additional context
Visual result (Customer section above Partner section, three matching
links) and footer cleanup match the requested design. No routing,
redirect, or page-content changes.

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Bug fix.
## What is the current behavior?
On the `apps/www` homepage, the Realtime product card shows a
cursor-following hover animation (the "self" cursor) alongside two other
peer cursors (User 1 and User 2) that animate independently.
The mouse-follow animation is driven by an `onMouseMove` handler on the
`<figure>` in `RealtimeVisual.tsx`. The three animated cursor divs are
positioned absolutely on top of that figure but did **not** set
`pointer-events-none`. As the peer cursors move around (and the self
cursor tracks the pointer), they become the pointer target under the OS
cursor and intercept mouse events, so the main hover animation
stutters/breaks when the pointer passes over one of the other cursors.
## What is the new behavior?
Added `pointer-events-none` to all three animated cursor wrappers (User
1, User 2, and Self). The animated cursors are purely decorative, so
they should never intercept pointer events. The `<figure>` keeps
`pointer-events-auto` and now receives `onMouseMove` uninterrupted, so
the cursor-follow animation stays smooth while hovering over the card.
## Additional context
Three-line change in `apps/www/components/Products/RealtimeVisual.tsx`.

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Bug fix
## What is the current behavior?
Resolves#46026
1. **Memory Leak**: The `<Globe />` component in the `www` app creates a
new `debouncedResize` event listener every time the theme changes, but
in the `useEffect` cleanup function, it attempts to remove `onResize`
instead. Because these are two different function references in memory,
the listener is never removed, causing a memory leak that grows with
theme toggling.
2. **Resolution Scaling**: The WebGL `cobe` globe instance is not
notified of width changes dynamically. When a user resizes their browser
window, the `<canvas>` resizes via CSS, but the internal 3D rendering
stretches and becomes distorted because `state.width` and `state.height`
are not updated inside the `onRender` loop.
3. **Local Dev Rendering**: Due to async CSS loading in Next.js
development environments, `offsetWidth` evaluates to 0 on initial mount,
causing the globe to render invisibly until manually resized.
## What is the new behavior?
1. **Memory Leak Fixed**: Switched from a global
`window.addEventListener('resize')` to a `ResizeObserver` attached
directly to the canvas container, properly disconnecting it on unmount.
2. **Resolution Scaling Fixed**: Added `state.width` and `state.height`
updates directly inside the `onRender` callback. The globe now maintains
its aspect ratio and high resolution dynamically as the user resizes the
browser.
3. **Local Dev Rendering Fixed**: The `ResizeObserver` correctly
triggers a size recalculation exactly when the local Next.js CSS
finishes injecting, allowing the globe to render immediately in local
dev.
4. **Safe Timeout**: Wrapped the initial opacity update in a null check
and correctly store/clear the `timeoutId` during unmount.

PR breakdown of #43455
Related: #47226#47228#47236
## Problem
- We have unused CSS from previous design system (`.sbui-*` classes)
- We use Tailwind `@apply` when we could set the tailwind classes on the
components directly
## Solution
- Delete all `.sbui-*` classes as we don't use them anymore
- Move classes directly on components when that make sense
## Notes
I did not migrate all `sbgrid` classes as they are applied in multiple
components

spacing, truncation, and alignment.

foreign-key cells.
* Adjusted search and impersonation inputs for better fit and padding.
* **Chores**
* Simplified and removed outdated styling overrides across the Studio
and web app.
* Reduced unused UI package surface by removing an unused input icon
container export.
