Gildas Garcia 2591a07a4f chore: Login to Docker Hub in e2e CI workflow to avoid rate limiting (#47091)
## Problem

As the e2e workflow starts the Supabase CLI, it downloads all our images
from the AWS ECR for every run. This makes many anonymous pulls that are
rate limited.

## Solution

Authenticate on AWS ECR

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit

## Chores
* Updated the Studio E2E test workflow to include AWS ECR
authentication. The workflow now uses tightened job permissions and
conditionally authenticates with AWS and Docker registries to reliably
pull required container images while improving security.

Jordi EnricandClaude Sonnet 4.6 59743caa7e fix(studio): remove Enterprise-only notice from unified logs preview (#47211)
## Problem

The unified logs feature preview displayed a message saying the
interface was only available for Enterprise plan organizations. The
feature is now available to all plans, making this notice inaccurate and
potentially confusing.

## Fix

Removed the paragraph containing the Enterprise-only restriction notice
from the unified logs preview component.

## How to test

1. Open Studio and navigate to any project
2. Open the Feature Previews panel
3. Find the "Unified Logs" preview entry
4. Confirm the Enterprise restriction notice is no longer shown
5. Expected result: only the description and screenshot are visible,
with no plan restriction text

-->

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **Documentation**
* Refreshed Unified Logs interface description to emphasize enhanced
capabilities including improved filtering, real-time updates, and a
unified view across services.

Joshen Lim f2e20eac34 Joshen/fe 3651 deprecate monacoeditor from grid folder to use codeeditor (#47179)
## Context

Part of efforts to consolidate all the code editors that we have in the
repository

`CodeEditor` will serve as the base monaco editor file that all UIs
should consume from
It's aimed to be generic and just stores the common logic that will be
generally used where-ever we need a code editor (editor options, base
editor set up on mount, etc)

The idea is that `CodeEditor` holds just 3 default actions (run queyr,
format document and placeholder fill)
If any editor needs specific behaviours (e.g SQL Editor), they can
declare them in the `onMount` prop of `CodeEditor` which gives some
flexibility

## Changes involved
- Use `CodeEditor` component for SQL Editor's `MonacoEditor`
- Shifted Cmd K behaviour into `CodeEditor` since that's probably needed
everywhere that we render that UI
- Deprecate `MonacoEditor` from the table editor's `grid` folder
- All files that were using that component to use `CodeEditor` component
instead

516dc12676 fix(docs): improve email template terminology table readability (#47143)
## I have read the CONTRIBUTING.md file.
YES

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Bug fix, docs update, Studio UX improvement.

Closes DOCS-400.

## What is the current behavior?
- Linear item: Docs: can't read Terminology table name column
- `break-all` on all `.prose td code` breaks `{{ .ConfirmationURL }}`
mid-token
- Studio template editor only linked to local-development
customizing-email-templates

## What is the new behavior?
- First-column code uses `break-words`; other columns keep `break-all`
- First column `min-width: 12rem` / `width: 30%`
- Studio TemplateEditor: **Terminology** + **Local development** links
- Template detail page: **Terminology** InlineLink beside Docs button
- `Table.tsx` MDX wiring deferred

/>

## Additional context
- Verification (author): CSS diff only; table fixture screenshots
captured
- Frontend note: docs-only CSS in `apps/docs/styles/globals.css`; Studio
shadcn tables unchanged

### Test plan
- [ ] Check out worktree branch and run docs app locally (`cd apps/docs
&& pnpm dev`)
- [ ] Open `/docs/guides/auth/auth-email-templates#terminology` at
desktop width — Name column readable
- [ ] Same page at mobile/narrow width — first column has adequate
min-width
- [ ] Spot-check 1–2 other docs pages with code in table first column —
no regression
- [ ] Open Studio → Auth → Email Templates → edit any template
- [ ] Confirm new link to
`/guides/auth/auth-email-templates#terminology` opens correct anchor
- [ ] Confirm existing link to `customizing-email-templates` still works
- [ ] Confirm `apps/docs/components/Table.tsx` was **not** wired into
MDX

7ff3264b5f fix(studio): strip one-shot content param from SQL editor URL (#47140)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Bug fix

## What is the current behavior?

When you open the SQL editor with prefilled SQL via
`/sql/new?content=<sql>`, the editor seeds its contents from the
`content` query param, then navigates to the newly created snippet with
`router.push`.

That leaves the (often very long) `/sql/new?content=...` URL in the
browser history. Pressing Back returns to that URL instead of the page
you came from. It is a wasted step, and it re-seeds and recreates a
fresh snippet.

This affects every entry point that opens the SQL editor with prefilled
SQL, such as the table definition "Open in SQL Editor" button, create
index, and the SQL command menu.

## What is the new behavior?

When the editor is seeded from a `content` deep link, the navigation to
the new snippet uses `router.replace` instead of `router.push`. This
collapses the one-shot `/sql/new?content=...` URL out of the history.

Back now returns straight to the page you came from, with no wasted step
and no duplicate snippet. Normal new query creation (no `content` param)
is unchanged.

## To test

1. Open any table in the Table Editor, switch to the Definition view,
and click "Open in SQL Editor". Any deep link with prefilled SQL works.
You can also visit `/project/<ref>/sql/new?content=SELECT%201` directly.
2. Confirm the SQL editor opens with the SQL prefilled, and the URL no
longer contains `?content=`.
3. Press the browser Back button.
4. You return straight to the previous page in a single Back.

Before this fix, the first Back landed on `/sql/new?content=...` and
recreated a snippet, and only a second Back reached the page you came
from.

* **Bug Fixes**
* Improved navigation behavior in SQL Editor when creating snippets from
imported content, resulting in more efficient routing.

e81c714aae refactor(studio): lazy self-hosted admin client + enforce in API routes (from #46424) (#47104)
Extracted from the TanStack Start migration (#46424) to shrink that PR.

The self-hosted storage/auth API routes each constructed a module-scope
admin client (`createClient(process.env.SUPABASE_URL!,
process.env.SUPABASE_SERVICE_KEY!)`). Those env vars only exist on
self-hosted, so eager module-scope construction is wasteful on platform
and fragile on any runtime that evaluates an API module before its route
is hit (constructing with `undefined` credentials throws on import).

**Changed:**
- Add `lib/api/self-hosted-admin.ts` — `selfHostedSupabaseAdmin`, a
`Proxy` that defers `createClient(...)` until first property access
(inside a handler, i.e. on self-hosted where the vars are set).
- Swap **all 17** storage/auth/vector-bucket handlers from module-scope
`createClient(...)` to `import { selfHostedSupabaseAdmin as supabase }`.
- **Enforce it:** add an eslint `no-restricted-syntax` rule banning
module-scope `createClient` in `pages/api/**` + `routes/**` (now that
every flagged handler is lazy). The same eslint config block also
carries an analytics-SQL boundary rule — 0 violations on master.

Behaviour is unchanged (the client is still built lazily inside the
handler). This is also the change that makes those routes safe under
TanStack's single-handler module evaluation.

## To test
- Self-hosted Studio: storage buckets/objects, vector buckets, and auth
users operations work as before.

## Verification
studio lint (0 errors, both rules active) ✓ · studio typecheck ✓.

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **Refactor**
* Standardized self-hosted Supabase admin client usage across platform
authentication and storage endpoints, removing per-route client setup.
* Improved reliability by lazily creating the admin client only when
first used.
* **Chores / Tooling**
* Updated ESLint rules to prevent module-scope Supabase client creation
in API routes and to enforce safe analytics SQL access patterns.

Alaister YoungandAlaister Young 2fdb59a905 test(e2e/studio): drop racy post-action waits in database specs (from #46424) (#47106)
Follow-up to #47077, extracted from the TanStack Start migration
(#46424).

Three `waitForResponse` waits in `database.spec.ts` were registered
*after* their triggering action, so the response could resolve before
the listener attached and the wait would time out (this surfaced under
TanStack, where the data is SSR-streamed, but the waits are redundant on
Next too).

**Removed:**
- Schema Visualizer *actions*:
`waitForSchemaVisualizerToLoad(...'auth')` registered after the
schema-selector click — the `focusTableInVisualizer` loop immediately
below already auto-waits for the auth schema's tables.
- table update / duplicate: `waitForDatabaseToLoad(...)` after the save
mutation — the `toBeVisible` assertion right after each already waits
for the list to refetch.
- the now-unused `waitForDatabaseToLoad` /
`waitForSchemaVisualizerToLoad` imports.

The UI assertions are the real synchronization points, so behaviour is
unchanged on Next.

## To test
- Studio E2E `database.spec.ts` passes (the Schema Visualizer + Tables
groups).

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **Tests**
* Improved database e2e test reliability by optimizing synchronization
logic and eliminating timing-sensitive helpers that could introduce
flakiness during schema and table operations.

Utkarash Kumar Singh a5b820d51b feat(upgrade): surface ltree reindex + operator estimator upgrade warnings (#47003)
## What

Studio + docs support for two **non-blocking** upgrade-eligibility
warnings for the PG 15.18 / 17.10 release:

- **`ltree_reindex_required`** — ltree indexes on a multibyte / non-libc
database must be `REINDEX`ed after upgrade.
- **`operator_estimator_gate`** — operators referencing a non-built-in
selectivity estimator (CVE-2026-2004) can't be recreated by a
non-superuser.

## Changes
- `UpgradeWarnings.tsx` — title/description/link for both types;
unrecognized warning types are skipped rather than rendering an empty
admonition.
- `apps/docs/.../platform/upgrading.mdx` — two upgrade-guide sections
(with detection + remediation SQL) that the warnings link to.
- `api-types` — the two types added to
`ProjectUpgradeEligibilityResponse.warnings`.

## Server side
Detection/emission lives in the platform repo:
**supabase/platform#34161**. Both warnings are version-gated there (only
fire when upgrading to ≥ 15.16 / 17.8).

oniani1 99db104cf5 fix(pg-meta): escape unencrypted FDW server options via format() %L (#47014)
Closes #47012

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Bug fix.

## What is the current behavior?

Unencrypted FDW server option values are pre-escaped with
`literal(value).replace(/'/g, "''")` and embedded inside the outer
`create server` `E'...'` string built by `format()`. That nests the
value inside two `E'...'` literals, so backslashes are decoded twice. A
value like `domain\user` aborts wrapper creation with `invalid Unicode
escape`, and `p@ss\w0rd` is silently stored as `p@ssw0rd`.

## What is the new behavior?

Unencrypted option values are passed as `format()` `%L` arguments, the
same way the encrypted options already supply their secret id, so
Postgres escapes each value exactly once.

Before and after, on postgres:16:

| Value | Before | After |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `domain\user` | aborts (invalid Unicode escape) | stored `domain\user`
|
| `p@ss\w0rd` | stored `p@ssw0rd` | stored `p@ss\w0rd` |
| `a\b` | stored `a`+backspace | stored `a\b` |

## Additional context

Added a unit test in `packages/pg-meta/test/sql/studio/fdw.test.ts`
asserting unencrypted options use a `%L` placeholder with the value as a
`format()` argument, and that the old double-escaped form is gone. The
encrypted-option path is unchanged.

Joshen Lim e9a976aa74 Fire load more slightly before reaching the bottom of the page (#47115)
## Context

JFYI the originally problem from the ticket was that unified logs wasn't
loading more automatically when scrolling to the bottom

However, I can't reproduce that issue as it seems to be working as
intended. But opting to triggering the load more when scrolling slightly
before hitting the bottom of the page for a smoother UX

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **Bug Fixes**
* Optimized infinite-scroll behavior in data tables by refining when the
loading trigger activates. Content now begins loading earlier as users
scroll, rather than waiting until reaching the absolute bottom of the
table. This responsive adjustment improves overall performance and user
experience when navigating through tables with large datasets, reducing
perceived delays.

Coenen BenjaminandJoshen Lim 2ce01473bb feat(replication): add better form to create ducklake replication (#47069)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Add support to use supabase projects as a pg catalog and storage when
adding a ducklake replication.

## What is the current behavior?

Only simple form with raw input text for custom parameters is available.

## What is the new behavior?

Being able to select supabase project to directly use projects in
supabase for the ducklake.
I also fixed a warning we had in the console for this form (cf
screenshot)

## Additional context

### Test scenario
Follow the screencast, go to your supabase project (better if it's in
ap-southeast-1)
Create a test table with 1 row for example
-> Database -> Replication -> New destination -> Select ducklake and use
supabase option
-> Keep the same current supabase project selected for both catalog and
storage
-> Create destination -> You'll get a warning about the storage and
credentials
-> Confirm creation
-> Wait until it's in status Running, if it's runing then it works

Joshen LimandJordi Enric dc5633aee2 Joshen/debug 147 add horizontal scroll to unified logs UI (#47111)
## Context

Support horizontal scrolling for unified logs

## Changes involved

Also chucked in some refactors and clean up
- `DataTableInfinite` to directly import components from the `ui`
package rather than a separate `Table` component that just applies class
names to the table components from `ui`
- Adjust footer of unified logs such that it'll remain in place despite
horizontally scrolling unified logs

## Summary by CodeRabbit

## Release Notes

* **Style**
* Improved infinite data table layout with consistent row/cell styling
across loading, empty, and error states.
  * Sticky header behavior is now more reliably applied.
* “Load more” footer button uses a smaller sizing for a cleaner footer
layout.

* **Refactor**
* Updated table rendering to use shared UI primitives and improved
scroll/container handling for the infinite table experience.

* **Chores**
  * Simplified the underlying table component structure for consistency.

Joshen Lim ea909e998b Local only: skip loading destinations if ETL API is not set up (#47031)
## Context

> [!IMPORTANT]
> Changes in this PR only apply to the local environment - there should
not be any changes to staging (nor production)

Given that read replicas currently sit under database replication, the
UI currently waits for replication destinations to load before rendering
the page. However for local development, setting up of the ETL API isn't
necessary nor applicable for everyone so this indirectly adds friction
if we just want to work with read replicas.

## Changes involved
- Opting to skip retrying fetching ETL related requests if the error
returned is "replication API URL is not configured"
  - This is indicative that the local platform isn't set up for ETL yet
- ^ Database replication page will hence not wait for ETL requests to
succeed before finally rendering the UI
  - Node diagram will also then render properly (just read replicas)
- Add a small admonition to visualize this
<img width="1079" height="301" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/32bd5d2f-a76e-417e-bedf-9a04de3bb305"
/>

## To test
- Will only be able to test locally - basically just head over to the
database replication page (unless you somehow already have ETL API set
up locally)
- But can also verify that there's no changes on staging preview

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **Bug Fixes**
* Improved error messaging when ETL is not configured in local
development environments
* Enhanced error handling for replication API failures with better
non-retryable error detection

  * Updated dropdown menu interactions for read replica management

## Context

Noticed this discrepancy when debugging fetching of feature flags

We use the user's auth session's email to fetch feature flags, but
there's a unique case whereby if the email is updated, the session's

does get updated correctly.

Am hence opting to default to `session?.user.user_metadata.email` for

Prashant Sridharan 4dd3a0aacf Fix events page (#47089)
## I have read the
[CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md)
file.

YES

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

As context, the events page pulls data from our webinar MDX files, Luma
(for Hackathons, Events, and Meetups), and Notion (for third-party
events we participate in). I recently unified our multiple Luma
calendars into one and started using tags for Luma events.

I fixed a few things on the /events page:

1. Webinars now show the proper location instead of "Unknown"
2. Event cards now show location properly depending on where the source
of the events are
3. Event data is pulled from Luma and categorized based on tags.
Fallback tag is "event" if a tag is absent

Note that this structure assume that Notion events are third-party, Luma
events are first-party (Hosted by Supabase), and Webinars are always
online. This is a safe assumption for the time being, but I will revisit
in the future if that changes.

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **New Features**
  * Events now display tags and categories from Luma event data.
* Webinar events are identified and labeled as "Supabase Live" with a
video icon for improved visibility.

* **Improvements**
* Enhanced event metadata display with improved location and category
information.
* Streamlined event categorization for more consistent handling across
event sources.

Danny WhiteandCursor 77ecfd5997 fix(studio): org integrations layout (FE-3617) (#47007)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

UI bug fix. Resolves FE-3617.

## What is the current behavior?

On `/org/[slug]/integrations`, the Vercel section renders full-width and
the page uses a mixed layout: GitHub still uses the old Scaffold
two-column pattern while `VercelSection` was migrated to `PageSection`
without a page container in #46868.

## What is the new behavior?

- Migrates `/org/[slug]/integrations` to `PageHeader` + `PageContainer
size="small"` + `PageSection`, matching project settings integrations
- Puts the Vercel "Install Vercel Integration" CTA in the same dashed
card pattern as "Add new project connection" (org + project)
- Consolidates GitHub into a shared `GitHubSection` with
`isProjectScoped`, mirroring `VercelSection`

- [x] Vercel connection tree connectors render correctly when

Jordi EnricandClaude Opus 4.8 b87110b695 perf(studio): single-scan unified logs facet count query (#47088)
## Problem

The facet counts in the unified logs sidebar were slow to load. The
query scanned the logs table about 14 times, once for each group of
counts (the total, each log type, each level, and method, status, and
pathname).

## Fix

Count the facets that have few distinct values (total, log type, level,
method, status) in a single scan instead of one scan each. Pathname
stays on its own scan because it has too many distinct values to count
that way.

A facet you are filtering on still gets its own scan, so it can keep
showing counts for its other values while the rest of the sidebar
reflects the filter.

This takes the common case from about 14 scans down to 3. The result
shape is unchanged, so nothing else needed updating.

Note: facet values with a count of zero are no longer returned. Only
values that actually appear show up.

## How to test

- Open Unified Logs for a project with the otelUnifiedLogs flag on.
- Check that the sidebar counts (log type, level, method, status,
pathname) and the total badge match what they showed before, and load
faster.
- Filter by a facet (e.g. log type) and confirm that facet still lists
counts for its other values, while the other facets update to match the
filter.
- Run the unit tests in apps/studio for UnifiedLogs.queries.

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **Refactor**
* Updated unified log counting to a more efficient single-pass SQL
approach for facet and per-dimension counts.
* Standardized log-type filtering behavior across unified queries and
facet/count generation.
* **Bug Fixes**
* Improved “total/all” counts to correctly respect active filters,
including correct source handling and default log-type exclusion.
* **Refactor**
* Limited facet displays to the top 20 values per facet; facet totals
are now calculated from the retained rows.
* **Tests**
* Expanded SQL and filtering assertions to cover the new counting
structure and facet row behavior.

oniani1andAli Waseem 3d101e2415 fix(studio): paginate queue messages on a unique cursor (#47016)
Closes #47015

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Bug fix.

## What is the current behavior?

The queue message list paginates with `WHERE enqueued_at > <last>` and
`ORDER BY enqueued_at`. `enqueued_at` is not unique: pgmq defaults it to
`now()`, so every message sent in one `send_batch` shares a timestamp.
When a group of same-timestamp messages straddles a page boundary, the
strict cursor skips the rest of that group, so those messages never
appear in the grid even though they are still in the queue. With 40
messages from one batch, only 30 render.

## What is the new behavior?

Pagination uses a composite `(enqueued_at, msg_id)` keyset cursor and
orders by the same pair. `msg_id` is unique within each queue/archive
table and breaks the tie, so no rows are dropped between pages. After
the change, all 40 messages render. This mirrors the cron-runs query,
which already paginates on a unique key.

## Additional context

Added a test in
`apps/studio/data/database-queues/database-queue-messages-infinite-query.test.ts`
asserting next pages use the composite cursor and order by `enqueued_at,
msg_id`.
