Danny WhiteandJoshen Lim 78dc739901 fix(studio): show support inline and honour AlertError layouts (#51377)
## Problem

AlertError forces a vertical layout whenever additional actions are
supplied, even when the caller explicitly requests horizontal or
responsive layout. Stripe Sync Engine's uninstall error is one affected
call site, the other was Pipelines as demoed in #51311.

## Solution

Honour an explicit layout. Preserve the existing defaults: vertical with
additional actions, responsive otherwise.

Replace the standalone Contact support action with an InlineLink in the
contact support prose, preserving support form context and breadcrumb
capture. Keep custom actions such as Retry. If instructions are hidden
or custom prose omits contact support, retain a separate inline support
link. With `hideContactSupport`, show no support link and shorten the
default instructions to “Try refreshing your browser.” Custom
descriptions remain unchanged. The local Pipelines configuration error
explicitly hides support. Add the explicit responsive layout at the
Pipelines call site.

## Review instructions

1. In a fresh local test project with no existing `stripe` schema, run
this in SQL Editor:

```sql
begin;
create schema stripe;
comment on schema stripe is
  '{"status":"uninstall error","errorMessage":"Local layout test: uninstallation failed"}';
commit;
```

2. Open **Integrations → Stripe Sync Engine → Overview** and reload.
Check **Failed to uninstall Stripe Sync Engine** at wide and narrow
widths, including **Retry uninstallation** and the inline **contact
support** link. Do not click Retry: it invokes the real uninstall
operation.
3. Remove the empty fixture with `drop schema stripe restrict;`.
4. Block the Pipelines source-status request and resize the page: Retry
uses the responsive layout.
5. AlertError callers without an explicit layout should retain their
existing presentation. Confirm default and custom contact support prose
use an inline link, with no standalone support action. Hidden
instructions and custom prose without contact support retain an inline
fallback. With `hideContactSupport`, the default prose is “Try
refreshing your browser.” and no support link appears; custom
descriptions remain unchanged.
6. Automated regression coverage checks that an explicit responsive
layout survives additional actions, and that hiding support removes the
default support wording while preserving custom descriptions.

Danny White 5c4745a117 fix(studio): smooth Terms of Service dialog intro copy (#51370)
## Problem

Joshen left a copy nit on #51302 after merge: the dialog intro reads
awkwardly as two short lines.

## Solution

Merge them into one sentence: “We’ve updated our Terms of Service which
includes the following:”

## Review instructions

1. Open an organisation landing page (`/organizations` or `/org/<slug>`)
in the Studio preview.
2. Click **Learn more** on the Terms of Service notice.
3. Confirm the dialog opens with a single intro line before the bullet
list, not two separate sentences.

Danny White b5c865521f feat(studio): notify users about the Terms of Service update (#51302)
## Problem

Dashboard users need a notice about the Terms of Service update
alongside #51106 and #51107.

## Solution

Reuse the organisation landing-page notice pattern from #50397. A
compact “We've updated our Terms of Service.” notice opens the
explanation and agreement link through **Learn more**. Closing the
notice or choosing **Got it** remembers dismissal in the browser with a
new version-specific key.

```text
Organisation landing page
  Notice → Learn more → Explanation and Terms of Service link
  Close / Got it → Remember dismissal
```

## Review instructions

1. Open `/organizations` or an organisation's `/org/<slug>` landing page
in the hosted Studio preview. Expect the compact notice.
2. Click **Learn more**. Expect the explanation and a link to the Terms
of Service. Escape closes the dialog without dismissing the notice.
3. Choose **Got it**, then reload. The notice stays dismissed. Repeat in

Jordi Enric d2ffd76395 perf(logs): load pathname facet counts on demand DEBUG-230 (#51112)
## Problem

Unified Logs included a pathname aggregation in every initial sidebar
count query, even when the pathname filter was closed. This issue is
tracked in
[DEBUG-230](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/DEBUG-230/fetch-sidebar-counts-only-when-needed).

## Fix

Remove pathname aggregation from the initial ClickHouse and BigQuery
count queries while keeping the existing shared count scans. Fetch
scoped pathname options through the existing facet query when the filter
opens or its search changes. Order limited pathname results by count,
validate response rows with Zod, and retain selected paths during
loading and validation errors. Use live sidebar filters while their URL
update is pending and URL filters after navigation. Cache results by
project and filter scope, and wait for feature flags before requesting
options.

## How to test

- Open Unified Logs, then open Pathname and search. Confirm options load
on demand.
- Change the time range, another filter, or navigate through browser
history. Confirm the options reflect the current scope.
- Close and reopen Pathname without changing the scope. Confirm cached
options return.
- Run the pathname filter component tests and Studio typecheck.

## [2/10] Storage object versioning: bucket form fields

The object versioning + lifecycle policy form section for the create and
edit bucket modals.
Mounted onto the ui in PR 3 #49205

- `BucketVersioningFields` — the versioning switch and the suspension /
public-bucket / retention-tightening warnings
- `LifecyclePolicySection` — the retention window and version cap inputs
- `ExpirationModeToggle` — how the two conditions combine (and / or)
- `BucketVersioningFields.schema.ts` — zod fields the parent modals
spread into their own schema, plus `superRefineBucketVersioning`
- `BucketVersioningFields.utils.ts` — retention-tightening detection
- `StorageVersioning.constants.ts` — versioning state and expiration
mode types, the prefill defaults, and `getBucketVersioningState`

Note: a single s3 lifecycle policy expects both `version_expiry_days`
and `max_noncurrent_versions` and always evaluate the two fields within
the same policy with an AND logic. To enable both AND and OR/EITHER
logic, we save two distinct s3 policies so we can enforce the OR logic.

See demos and how to reproduce in #49205

Joshen LimandGildas Garcia dc95335a8d Joshenlim/fe 4068 warn users ai assistant history can be wiped (#51260)
## Context

Chats with the AI Assistant is currently stored locally on the browser
and not synced across devices which caused a bit of confusion for some
users when they realised they couldn't access their chat histories on
different devices. (Ideal state tbh is to persist the chat
conversations, but that'll need support on the BE)

PR here just adds a foot note to both the chat history dropdown in the
side panel + chat nav for the explorer regarding this - opting for
something with a small footprint

Pamela Chia 20d6f2197f chore(studio): remove privacy policy notice (#51299)
I removed the Studio Privacy Policy update notice that #50397 added on
2026-09-16, when Privacy Policy v4 took effect. It has been up for
almost three weeks, and the ToS v4 banner (#51109) goes out next. I did
the same in #44380, removing the March 2026 privacy notice after 15
days.

This is the exact inverse of #50397: the banner component and its test,
the banner ID, the dismissal local storage key, and the org-landing path
helper that only this notice used.

## To test

Tested on Vercel preview:
- [ ] In a fresh browser profile (no
`privacy-policy-update-2026-09-16-dismissed` key), open
`/organizations`: expect no Privacy Policy notice
- [ ] Open `/org/<slug>`: expect no Privacy Policy notice and the
project list renders normally
- [ ] Open a project's Logs page: expect the logs deprecation banner
behavior unchanged (only shows before its expiry)

Danny White ba82106697 chore(www + studio): remove expired Select 2026 promo banners (#51245)
## Problem

Supabase Select 2026 has finished. The promo banners already hide via
the scheduled expiry from #51006, but the campaign code, assets, and
wiring are still in the tree.

## Solution

Remove the Select 2026 sitewide promotion across www and Studio:

- Delete shared `Select26*` banner code, font, and tests from
`ui-patterns`
- Delete Studio `BannerSelect2026*` and its Banner Stack registration
- Unmount the www announcement banner and revert the State of Startups
spacing that only existed for it
- Drop the Select-only session-replay `data-band` allowlist entry and
lint ratchet baseline

Event go pages, blog posts, and other Select content are left alone. The
`Announcement` shell stays for the next campaign.

## Review instructions

1. Open the www homepage on the deploy preview. Confirm there is no
Select announcement bar above the nav.
2. Open `/state-of-startups` on the deploy preview. Confirm the hero
still looks correct with no extra top gap from the removed banner.
3. Open a hosted Studio dashboard page on the deploy preview. Confirm
the Banner Stack no longer shows a Select card.

Danny White ed692f6905 feat(select): schedule livestream banners (#51006)
## Problem

The Select banners on www and Studio still promote attendance. They need
to keep serving the waitlist until the event, promote the livestream
during the requested window, and disappear after the event.

## Solution

Use a shared three-phase clock: existing promotion before 8:00am PT on 2
October, livestream promotion from 8:00am to 5:30pm PT, and no banner
afterwards. Both livestream CTAs lead to `select.supabase.com`, where
viewers can choose a stage. Separate dismissal keys let someone who
dismissed the earlier promotion see the livestream. Open pages set a
timer for the next boundary and recheck on visibility, focus, or page
restore.

## Review instructions

1. Open the [www
homepage](https://zone-www-dot-com-git-dnywh-select-2026-livestre-93dab1-supabase.vercel.app/)
and a [hosted Studio
dashboard](https://studio-staging-git-dnywh-select-2026-livestream-05b822-supabase.vercel.app/)
in separate tabs. If the Privacy Policy update card is in front in
Studio, close it (only) to reveal the Select banner.
2. In each tab's DevTools console, paste this helper:
   ```js
   window.selectRealNow = Date.now
   window.showSelectAt = (iso) => {
     Date.now = () => new Date(iso).getTime()
     window.dispatchEvent(new Event('focus'))
   }
   ```
3. Run `showSelectAt('2026-10-02T07:59:00-07:00')`: both banners keep
the existing “Apply to attend” CTA.
4. Run `showSelectAt('2026-10-02T08:00:00-07:00')`: www shows “Supabase
Select 2026” and “Watch the livestream”; Studio shows the same title,
the description “Keynote, main stage, and build stage, streamed all
day.” and “Watch livestream”. Both CTAs link to
`https://select.supabase.com/`.
5. Run `showSelectAt('2026-10-02T17:30:00-07:00')`: neither banner is
visible. Restore the clock with `Date.now = window.selectRealNow;
window.dispatchEvent(new Event('focus'))`.

The console clock override affects only the current tab and is lost on
reload.

## Summary by CodeRabbit

- **New Features**
- The Select 2026 banner switches from waitlist messaging to livestream
details and a “Watch livestream” link during the livestream period.
- Livestream banner dismissals are tracked separately from waitlist
banner dismissals.
- Promotion banners end at 5:30 p.m. Pacific on October 2, 2026, and
update when the promotion changes phase, including after returning to an
open tab.

Monica Khoury 1b5a806963 fix: show support contact message if Studio fails to load (FE-4460) (#50872)
## Summary
- Adds a fallback message ("Taking longer than expected?... contact
support@supabase.io") shown after 7s if Studio fails to fully load, for
the Next.js runtime — mirrors the existing TanStack-only
`ShellFallback`, which had no Next.js equivalent
- Fixes the support email in the existing TanStack `ShellFallback` (was
`support@supabase.com`, should be `support@supabase.io`)
- Extracts the shared copy (message, email, delay) into one file so both
fallbacks stay in sync

## Why
Linear FE-4460: users reported the Dashboard going completely blank with
no way to reach support when a JS chunk failed to load. The Next.js
runtime (the current default) had no fallback at all for this case.

## Test plan
- [ ] Normal page load: fallback never appears
- [ ] Simulated stuck boot (mount signal disabled): fallback appears
after 7s with correct copy/email, no layout bugs
- [ ] Same two checks on the TanStack runtime
(`STUDIO_FRAMEWORK=tanstack`)
- [ ] `pnpm --filter studio run typecheck` / `lint:ratchet` pass

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **New Features**
* Added a loading fallback that appears if the app takes too long to
load, with guidance to clear browser cookies and reload.
* On self-hosted platforms, the fallback includes a support contact
link.
  * The fallback is automatically hidden once the app loads.

7994191e49 feat(studio): group consecutive assistant tool calls (#50893)
<img width="913" height="572" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/e8112085-508a-49e4-abb1-7550248e611e"
/>

## Problem

A single Assistant response often produces 10+ reasoning and lookup rows
("Reasoned", "Ran search_docs", …). They push the answer down the chat,
use raw tool names, and a fast tool call flashes past before the row
goes back to "Thinking...".

## Solution

Consecutive reasoning and lookup rows fold into one collapsible group.

- **Running:** the header shows a tool only while it executes ("Checking
policies in public..."). Between calls it reads "Thinking...", however
long that lasts. Each header label stays up for at least 1 second, so
quick calls no longer flash.
- **Finished:** the header lists what the tools did, e.g. "Searched docs
and checked policies", or "…, and 2 more".
- **Expanded (any time):** every call is listed under a vertical rule.
Rows still in progress shimmer, including several at once for parallel
calls.

## How to test

1. Run `pnpm dev:studio` and open the Assistant on a project with a few
tables.
2. Ask something that needs several lookups, e.g. "What RLS policies do
I have and what do the docs recommend for them?"
3. While it streams, check the collapsed header:
- It shows each tool while it runs, then goes back to "Thinking..."
between calls.
   - Labels don't flash. Each stays up for about a second.
- Only the shimmer marks progress, with no blinking cursor underneath.
4. Expand the group mid-stream. Rows read like "Checking policies in
public..." rather than tool names, and only rows still in progress
shimmer.
5. When it finishes, the header lists the actions ("Searched docs and
checked policies") and stops shimmering.
6. Press Stop while a group is running. The unfinished row reads
"Response interrupted" and stops spinning.
7. Reload the chat. Older groups show their collapsed summaries.

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **New Features**
* AI assistant tool activity is grouped into collapsible sections with
progress labels while work is underway and summaries when complete.
* Expand grouped activity to review reasoning and tool details. Active
tools and reasoning are highlighted, while completed reasoning without
text is hidden.
* Progress labels remain visible briefly during transitions, and active
responses display a shimmer effect.
* **Bug Fixes**
* The loading indicator no longer appears while the assistant is
processing a tool group.

Saxon FletcherandClaude Opus 5.5 5e59b6047e chore(studio): extend Assistant response time and handle timeouts (#50892)
## Problem

- Assistant responses were capped at 120 seconds and 10 steps, which is
too short for longer reasoning or multi-step tool work.
- When the hosting platform ended a request at that limit, the
connection just dropped. The user got no explanation, and "Thinking…"
and tool rows kept spinning.
- Studio's own tools ignored the request's abort signal, so a stop,
disconnect or deadline couldn't cancel their in-flight requests.
- Aborted responses never closed their Braintrust span. Under TanStack
Start, the remote MCP client was only released on `res.on('close')`,
which the adapter never emits.

## Solution

Uses AI SDK options instead of custom stream handling:

- `maxDuration` goes to 300s and the step limit to 20. `streamText({
timeout: { totalMs } })` stops the response at 270s, leaving time to
finish the stream before the platform cutoff.
- `toUIMessageStream({ messageMetadata })` marks an aborted response
`timedOut: true`. `Chat` ignores `abort` chunks, so the client reads
this flag instead and shows a timeout alert with Retry. The flag is
saved with the message, so the alert survives a reload.
- `toUIMessageStream({ onEnd })` aborts the request whenever the stream
ends, releasing the MCP client on both runtimes. `streamText({ onAbort
})` ends the Braintrust span.
- Studio tools pass the SDK's `abortSignal` to their fetches. MCP tools
already did.
- Reasoning and server-tool rows that never finished show "Response
interrupted" instead of a spinner or "Ran X ✓".

There's no per-tool timeout. Approved SQL and migrations can
legitimately run longer, and aborting the HTTP request doesn't stop the
query in Postgres.

## Review instructions

1. Run the unit tests: `cd apps/studio && pnpm vitest run
lib/api/generate-v4.test.ts lib/ai components/ui/AIAssistantPanel`
2. To see a timeout without waiting 4.5 minutes, temporarily set
`ASSISTANT_TIMEOUT_MS` in `apps/studio/lib/ai/assistant-timeout.ts` to
`15_000` and run `pnpm dev:studio`.
3. Ask the Assistant something that needs several tool calls or long
reasoning, for example "Audit my schema for missing indexes and RLS
gaps, then write the fixes."
4. After 15 seconds, check that:
- the response stops and a "Assistant response timed out" alert appears
with Retry
- any in-progress reasoning or tool row shows "Response interrupted"
instead of spinning
   - Retry starts a new response
   - reloading the page still shows the alert on that chat
5. Stop a response with the Stop button before the deadline. It should
stop without the timeout alert.
6. With the default 270s, confirm that a normal response completes as
before.

Saxon Fletcher d0135231fb chore(studio): improve assistant feed performance (#50888)
## Problem

Assistant conversations with multiple query and Edge Function blocks
repeatedly render expensive content while streaming. Scrolling past the
feed boundary can also move the surrounding layout.

## Solution

Memoize unchanged messages, blocks, and code highlighting; batch
streaming UI updates; and skip off-screen query layout while keeping
block state mounted. Preserve streamed status updates and contain
scrolling in the message viewport. The changes are shared by Next and
TanStack.

## Review instructions

1. Compare the base branch and this branch using the same saved
conversation containing 10–20 query, result/chart, and Edge Function
blocks. Keep the browser, viewport, and conversation identical.
2. In Chrome DevTools, record Performance with 4× CPU throttling while
streaming a follow-up, typing in the composer, and scrolling through the
feed. Compare scripting/layout time and long tasks. React DevTools
Profiler should show unchanged completed blocks avoiding renders during
subsequent text updates.
3. Scroll away from query blocks and return. Confirm results, display
settings, selections, and controls retain their state. Run a read-only
query such as `select 1` and check its results still update.
4. Confirm “Thinking…” finishes, Stop retains the latest streamed text,
and approval/skip, copy, edit, and branch actions still work. Repeated
scrolling at the feed boundary must leave the outer layout/composer
stationary; jump-to-latest and following new messages should still work.
5. Repeat in both runtimes: `STUDIO_FRAMEWORK=next pnpm dev:studio` and
`STUDIO_FRAMEWORK=tanstack pnpm dev:studio`. Also check the assistant
sidebar, which shares the feed.

## Validation

- 170 assistant/Explorer tests and one shared CodeBlock test passed;
formatting and Studio lint passed (two existing warnings).
- Browser checks covered both route entry points, viewport
state/geometry, and scroll behavior.
- Review fixes: 23 focused tests, lint, formatting, and full Studio
typechecking passed. Full production builds were not verified.

K-Dog (Kevin) a5ad2ce745 feat: log query/ingest insights (#50570)
We are doing a soft rollout for log pricing including log ingest and log
querying. We currently only want to display usage/soft warnings, which
is why the metrics are filtered out in some components.

Joshen Lim 9a60994efb Update account audit logs to follow unified logs UX (#50799)
## Context

This one's just something that I thought about while doing some
debugging - our audit logs UI is pretty outdated and hard to skim as the
information is very sparse. This is how it currently looks like
(specifically Account audit logs for this PR, there's also org audit
logs):

<img width="1450" height="957" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/4b69511e-1d4f-4725-8ea9-78ddacf76942"

src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/ec099f52-adef-499c-965a-11b8404bf235"
/>

Am opting to follow the same UX as that of our Unified Logs, so opting
to update the UI as such:

<img width="1451" height="958" alt="Screenshot 2026-09-23 at 22 04 33"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/016bd26d-4078-42dc-9ff2-5bae9edbc1b2"
/>

src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/7230b94a-c7ec-4550-bb55-5405ebc074a7"
/>

More importantly, we'll allow users to copy logs as JSON so users can
eject to their own agent if needed

/>

## To test
- [ ] Mainly just need to make sure that account audit logs still works
as expected - it's all read only so just need to ensure that all
information that's available before, is still available

Danny White d067e81a69 fix(ui): align primary colours across text, buttons, and controls (#50697)
## Problem

Primary colour serves readable text and selected controls, but those
uses need different shades. Light mode needs darker text, while dark
mode needs a deeper button fill. Fixed brand green on interactive chrome
also prevents a custom primary hue from carrying through the interface.
Some slider tracks and selected text are hard to read.

## Solution

- Keep `--primary` for accessible text and small selected indicators.
Use `--primary-solid` for button fills, which need a deeper shade in
dark mode.
- Add `--primary-bright` for focus rings, selected control chrome, chart
accents, and other interactive highlights. It follows `--primary-hue`;
`brand-*` stays fixed for Supabase identity.
- Make slider troughs clearer and text selection translucent with theme
foreground text.
- Document the split in the design-system colour guide.

## Review instructions

1. Compare light and dark mode in the [colour usage
guide](https://design-system-git-dnywh-fix-bright-brand-chrome-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/color-usage#primary-and-brand-colors).
Check primary ink, primary-solid, primary-bright, and fixed brand
swatches.
2. In Studio, open the ‘new table’ sheet in [Table
Editor](https://studio-staging-git-dnywh-fix-bright-brand-chrome-supabase.vercel.app/dashboard/project/_/editor).
Tab through the new table sheet's fields and toggles. Check the focus
rings, selected controls, and the sheet's edges in both themes. You do
not need to save a table.
3. Select text in Studio in both themes, including a link or
primary-coloured label. The selection and text should remain legible.
4. Check the
[Field](https://design-system-git-dnywh-fix-bright-brand-chrome-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/components/field)
Price Range slider: the unused track should remain visible in both
themes. The selected field card border should follow primary-bright.
5. Check the
[Button](https://design-system-git-dnywh-fix-bright-brand-chrome-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/components/button)
and [Radio
Group](https://design-system-git-dnywh-fix-bright-brand-chrome-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/components/radio-group)
previews. In dark mode, `primary` button fill should be deeper than
primary
[text](https://design-system-git-dnywh-fix-bright-brand-chrome-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/color-usage#text);
selected radios should remain readable.

Saxon FletcherandJoshen Lim 76c4f2b739 feat(studio): add time range to project logs filter bar (#50685)
<img width="1079" height="566" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/b6f360e9-dfcf-4717-86db-1fc9acc4ae6a"
/>

## Problem

Project logs only exposed time-range selection through the sidebar.

## Solution

Add a Time range property to the filter bar using the sidebar’s picker,
preset labels, and date formatting. Keep it synchronized with the
sidebar and timeline, including retention checks.

## Review instructions

1. Open Project Logs and select **Time range** in the filter bar. Choose
a preset and confirm the sidebar and logs update.
2. Select a custom range and confirm its label matches the sidebar’s
date formatting.
3. Change the range in the sidebar or timeline and confirm the filter
bar updates. Remove the time-range pill and confirm the range resets
without removing other filters.
4. Select a range beyond the plan’s log retention and confirm the
upgrade prompt appears.

Validation: 67 focused tests passed, Studio typecheck passed, and
changed Studio files passed lint.

Saxon FletcherandClaude Opus 5 a311279d66 feat(studio): add range and multi-row selection to DataTableInfinite (#50688)
Stack 3/4 · previous: #50687 · next: #50689

## Problem

`DataTableInfinite` could only open one row at a time. Multi-select
meant clicking a separate checkbox column, with no support for ranges or
modifier keys.

## Solution

This PR only adds shared primitives. Behavior stays the same until a
consumer passes `onSelectRow` (wired up in the next PR).

- `selectTableRow` (`rowSelection.utils.ts`): a pure reducer for plain,
Cmd/Ctrl-toggle, Shift-range, and additive-range selection over the
current display order, with a fixed anchor.
- `useTableRowSelection`: holds the selection state and resets it when
its `scope` (project/filters) changes.
- `DataTableProvider` gets an optional `onSelectRow`. When it's set,
`DataTableInfinite` rows use it and reflect `row.getIsSelected()`. Rows
also get `aria-selected`, Space activates them like Enter, and
shift-click no longer selects text.

## Review instructions

1. Read `rowSelection.utils.test.ts`: it covers the selection rules.
2. Open Unified Logs. Row clicks should behave the same as on master.

Saxon FletcherandClaude Opus 5 eb738d2b84 feat(studio): open copy and filter actions from log detail rows (#50686)

Stack 1/4 · next: #50687

## Problem

In the Unified Logs detail panel, each field row had a small kebab
button. Fields that couldn't be filtered fell back to a separate copy
button, so the actions weren't consistent. Filter labels also repeated
the column id ("Add as filter for method").

## Solution

- Adds `LogFieldRow`: the whole key/value row opens the actions menu on
click or Enter. Rows you can filter show filter + copy, and every other
row shows copy only.
- `DataTableSheetRowAction` always renders the dropdown now. `table` is
optional, copy is always available, labels read "Add filter", and the
menu aligns to the row.
- `DetailRow` is rebuilt on `LogFieldRow`. The section styling is
refreshed: bordered collapsibles, no zebra striping, and
`heading-default` section titles. The `topDivider` prop is removed.

## Review instructions

1. Open Unified Logs and select a Postgres or PostgREST log.
2. Click a filterable row (such as method or status). You should see
"Add filter" and "Copy …" in one menu.
3. Tab to a row that can't be filtered and press Enter. You should see a
copy-only menu.

Lukas Bernert d51ed9f451 Update Studio disk IO burst copy (#50809)
## Problem

Studio copy ties disk IO burst behavior to compute size thresholds and
says the IO budget "resets".
Burst eligibility isn't a single size cutoff
EBS burst credits refill continuously while disk usage runs below
baseline

Docs already use this framing (#50016)

Fixes PROD-665

## Solution

Three copy changes:

- `UnavailableChartBlock.tsx`: the burst balance chart placeholder no
longer names a size. It now describes sustained IO with no burst credit
pool
- `database-charts.ts`: the Disk IO Burst Balance tooltip describes the
EBS burst credit pool without referencing instance size
- `ResourceExhaustionWarningBanner.constants.ts`: the warning and
critical banners say the budget refills whenever disk usage runs below
baseline, instead of "resets"

## Review instructions

1. Read the diff. Copy changes only.
2. Optional: on a project with burstable disk IO, open Reports >
Database and hover the Disk IO Burst Balance chart title to see the new
tooltip.

Jordi EnricandJoshen Lim 3063679f1b feat(auth): restore key last-used timestamps FE-2462 FE-4315 (#50732)
## Problem

Studio expected aliased fields from the last-used API-key endpoint, but
the live endpoint returns OTEL attribute names. This kept legacy API-key
activity unavailable and prevented Studio from showing activity for new
JWT signing keys. Tracks FE-2462 and FE-4315.

## Fix

Normalize the endpoint response at the data boundary, keep the
`showApiKeysLastUsed` feature flag, and show activity from the past 24
hours for new JWT signing keys. Legacy HS256 signing keys remain blank
because the analytics response does not provide a stable signing-key
record ID for them. The request remains hosted-only, permission-gated,
and non-blocking, and the existing last-rotated column remains intact.

## How to test

- Make a request with a legacy anon or service-role API key, then open
Project Settings > API Keys and verify its last request appears.
- Make an Auth request signed by a new JWT signing key, then open JWT
Keys and verify the matching key shows a Last used timestamp.
- Verify a new key without activity shows No requests in the past 24
hours.
- Verify the legacy HS256 signing-key row leaves Last used blank.
- Expected result: legacy API keys and new JWT signing keys display
activity from the shared endpoint without changing self-hosted Studio.

-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **New Features**
* Added a **Last used** column for JWT signing keys on supported
platforms.
* Displays usage timestamps, loading and error states, or when a key has
had no requests in the past 24 hours.
  * Usage tracking now includes both API keys and JWT signing keys.
* **Bug Fixes**
  * Improved handling of usage records for legacy and current keys.
* Usage details appear only on supported platforms and for users with
the required permissions.

Monica KhouryandJoshen Lim 4b365eb4ee fix: pass projectRef/orgSlug to support link in table grid error (#50724)
## Summary

Fixes
[FE-3987](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/FE-3987/contact-support-pre-fills-the-wrong-supabase-project-id):
the "Contact support" button shown in the Table Editor's inline error
banner (e.g. "Failed to retrieve rows from table") didn't pass the
current project or organization to the support form. This caused the
support form to fall back to the user's first organization/project
instead of the one actually affected — especially noticeable when the
Management API request used to resolve the org also fails.

## Test plan

  - [ ] Open a project in Studio, go to **Table Editor**, open a table.
- [ ] Trigger a failing table query — either block the `rest/v1/<table>`
request in DevTools, or apply a filter with a mismatched type (e.g. `id
= 'abc'` on an int column).
- [ ] On the inline red "Failed to retrieve rows from table" banner,
click **Contact support**.
- [ ] Confirm the support form pre-fills the **correct organization and
project** — the one the failing table actually belongs to.
- [ ] Repeat with a project belonging to an organization that is *not*
first in your org list, to confirm it's not coincidentally correct.
- [ ] Repeat while simulating a Management API failure (e.g. block
`api.supabase.com`/`*.supabase.co/platform/*`) to confirm the org still
resolves correctly via the `orgSlug` fallback instead of silently
defaulting to your first org.
- [ ] Sanity check other "Contact support" entry points (header Feedback
dropdown, Help sidebar) are unaffected — they use a separate,
already-correct code path.

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **Bug Fixes**
* Improved error handling when project details cannot be loaded,
preserving relevant project and organization context.
* Improved fallback behavior for identifying the correct organization
when project information is unavailable or unresolved.
* Support requests opened from error messages now include applicable
project and organization information.
* Error messages now consistently display available additional actions
alongside contact support options.

Saxon FletcherandDanny White cd77bebafd chore(ui): refresh shared button styles (#50197)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

UI polish / design system: refreshed button styles, related token
tweaks, and a shared floating-button plate.

Resolves DEPR-652.

## What is the current behavior?

Default, primary, and secondary buttons use older fills, borders, and
hover treatments. Primary still leans on brand scale utilities. Default
fills don’t always read as raised chrome across surfaces, and floating
copy / expand / scroll controls can let busy content show through
translucent fills. Call sites hand-roll `rounded-* bg-background`
wrappers for that.

## What is the new behavior?

Refreshes primary, default, and secondary buttons with medium-weight
labels, subtle shadows and inset edges, and smoother transitions.
Light-mode default buttons use a raised fill with an accent hover state,
primary text is brighter, and inline keyboard shortcuts inherit the
button’s colour.

Adds `FloatingPlate`: an opaque `bg-popover` shell for floating default
buttons (and small clusters). Migrates Studio, Docs-related patterns,
www, and `ui-patterns` floaters onto it so busy content no longer shows
through translucent fills. Positioning, z-index, and hover/focus reveal
stay on the plate’s `className`. Use `rounded="full"` for pills.

Also:

- Moves primary onto semantic `--primary` / `--primary-hover` (with a
light-theme override) instead of brand utility fills
- Tokenises button shadows as `--button-shadow-drop` /
`--button-shadow-raised` / `--button-shadow-default` on the Button base
- Aligns hover direction: darken on light mode, lighten on dark mode for
both default and primary
- Default fill stays opaque `bg-card` in light (occlusion) and
translucent `bg-muted` in dark (adapts to the local surface)
- Documents fills and `FloatingPlate` on the design-system Button page
(with a live example)
- Scales shared radius tokens in Studio and www; medium+ Button sizes
use a proportionally softer radius
- Fixes www nav CTA centering (`lg:inline-flex` instead of `lg:block`)
- Query detail Expand/Collapse wires `aria-expanded` / `aria-controls`

Joshen Lim c7880e328f Add a live preview markdown editor for explorer (#50717)
## Context

We've gotten some requests for a better markdown editing experience in
the Explorer so this PR adds a proper live preview markdown editor,
similar UX to how you'd edit notion or obsidian documents. Opting to use
`lexical` as the main library to support this UI for its size and
composability without going too low level like prose mirror

<img width="933" height="452" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/7161ae6c-3dff-4b36-818f-01b5e573f121"
/>

Actual file changes are just this size excluding the package-lock
<img width="150" height="39" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/bb01f2cf-8ef7-4daf-975b-614b2d817b54"
/>

## Changes involved

This adjusts the UX for markdown cells a little
- Clicking on a markdown cell immediately allows you to edit
- Instead of the existing behaviour which requires a double click to
enter "Edit" state
- Editing doesn't eject you into a monaco editor, but rather inline
editor
  - Nicer transition
- Clicking out of the cell persists the cell's content
  - No more "Cancel" or "Save" buttons

## To test
- [ ] Verify that editing markdown cells are still working
- [ ] Verify that tabs do get marked with unsaved changes if you edit a
markdown cell

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit

- **New Features**
- Replaced the previous Markdown editing workflow with an always-visible
inline editor.
- Added rich Markdown editing for headings, lists, links, blockquotes,
code blocks, inline code, and text formatting.
  - Changes are saved automatically when leaving the editor.
  - Markdown formatting shortcuts take precedence within the editor.

- **Bug Fixes**
  - Avoids unnecessary saves when content has not changed.

- **Tests**
- Added coverage verifying Markdown formatting conversions remain
consistent and repeatable.

Danny White ec53175b8a refactor(ui): rename text-brand to text-primary (#50564)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Refactor. Follow-up to #49871.

## What is the current behavior?

Branded (green) text still uses the `text-brand` classname while the
colour comes from `--primary`.

## What is the new behavior?

**Rename-only:** `text-brand` → `text-primary` across callsites and
docs. Leftover `bg-brand` / `border-brand` alias to `brand-default`. No
intentional colour changes in this PR.

This better matches how we treat our green in other components and
props, like `variant="primary"` for green buttons.

## To test

On light mode: smoke-test that branded text still looks like #49871
(readable green, not the bright fill).

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **Style**
* Updated branded text, link hover states, icons, badges, indicators,
and highlighted content across the Design System, Docs, Studio, Learn,
UI Library, and marketing experiences to use the primary theme color.
* Updated syntax highlighting and table-of-contents styling for
consistent primary-color presentation.
  * Refined brand color fallback behavior for bright fills and borders.

* **Documentation**
* Updated color-usage and typography guidance to recommend the primary
text utility.

Danny White a4be167491 fix(studio): clarify Warehouse status and navigation (#50554)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Bug fix and UI polish.

## What is the current behavior?

The Warehouse Connect option repeats its own name, and a configured
Warehouse has no direct route back to its management page. Warehouse
table states also use badges instead of the status-dot pattern used by
Replication, and a backfilling table can misleadingly appear as “Caught
up”.

## What is the new behavior?

- Describes Warehouse as an analytical endpoint and adds a low-emphasis
“Manage Warehouse” link from the Connect sheet.
- Shares Replication’s status-dot presentation with Warehouse while
keeping feature-specific state mapping separate.
- Shows replication lag only for live tables, so backfilling and “Caught
up” are never presented together.

## To test

1. Open `/project/<ref>?showConnect=true&connectTab=warehouse` for a
project with Warehouse configured. Confirm the mode subtitle says
“Analytical endpoint”. Confirm the new “Manage Warehouse” button opens
`/project/<ref>/integrations/warehouse/overview`.
2. Open `/project/<ref>/integrations/warehouse/overview` while a table
is backfilling. Confirm it has a pulsing amber status dot and does not
show “Caught up”.
3. Once the table is live, confirm it has a green “Live” status dot and
its lag appears normally.

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit

- **New Features**
- Added clearer Warehouse setup progress messaging with a “View
progress” action while setup is running.
- Connection details are shown once the Warehouse is provisioned or has
live tables.
- Added a Cancel action when editing changed Warehouse table selections.
- Updated table statuses with live, syncing, and warning indicators,
including animated syncing states.
  - Lag details are displayed for live tables when available.
  - Renamed the Warehouse connection option to “Analytical endpoint.”

- **Style**
  - Improved Warehouse management controls and table name readability.
  - Removed the table Size column from the Warehouse overview.

Danny WhiteandJoshen Lim a31ca2bad0 fix(ui): make brand text readable across themes (#49871)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Bug fix and design-system update. Resolves DEPR-316.

Follow-up rename (`text-brand` → `text-primary`) is in a dedicated PR
(https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/50564) stacked on this one.

## What is the current behavior?

`text-brand` resolves to the canonical bright brand green in places that
need readable text, which fails WCAG AA on light surfaces. A separate
`text-brand-display` token adds another green for large type.

## What is the new behavior?

- `text-brand` maps to accessible `--primary` (light mode darkened to
meet ~4.5:1 AA)
- `--hue` / `--primary-hue` aligned to 157.5
- `text-brand-display` removed; former display callsites use
`text-brand`
- Bright fills/borders stay on `brand-default`
- Design-system colour and typography docs updated

Joshen Lim f8257f2146 Decouple DataTableInfinite from unified logs (#50498)
## Context

No visual changes - just refactoring to decouple DataTableInfinite from
unified logs so that we can reuse the DataTableInfinite component in
other places. Note that we're only decoupling the table - not the side
menu stuffs

- Removes depedency on `QuerySearchParamsType` from unified logs in
`DataTableProvider.tsx`
- Remove unnecessary `searchParamsParser`
- Was feeding a dead `useQueryState('live')` in `DataTableRow` that
never used its return value

Am planning to revisit the audit logs UI subsequently as i realised its
current state makes it hard to find things for debugging

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->

## Summary by CodeRabbit

- **Bug Fixes**
- Improved error messaging in data tables, including a clearer “Failed
to retrieve logs” message when log retrieval fails.
- Standardized default error messaging for other data-loading failures.

- **Improvements**
- Enhanced compatibility for asynchronous table filters and search
parameters without changing existing user workflows.
- Preserved existing filtering and live data behavior while improving
table reliability.

Matt RossmanandJoshen Lim 4bb36b944f feat(studio): let High Compliance projects opt-in to Assistant data access (#50548)
Orgs with the HIPAA add-on had the Assistant's opt-in level forced to
`disabled` on any project marked High Compliance, regardless of what the
org picked in its AI settings. The restriction predated our AI provider
BAAs. The consequence is those users see the Assistant failing to answer
questions about their data w/ no clear path how to fix it, even though
the LLM provider supports this use case.

This PR removes these Assistant restrictions on the server and client so
those projects honor the org's chosen level. Braintrust conversation
tracing is unchanged and still blocked for these projects, see [this
test
case](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/b9800ccf16/apps/studio/lib/ai/braintrust-logger.test.ts#L16-L20).
See
[comments](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/AI-1153/allow-hipaa-orgs-to-opt-in-to-assistant-data-access-for-high#comment-485a0d46)
for legal approval and conditions.

The client-side changes enable features like "Debug with AI" on SQL
query failures, “Generate/Rename with AI” for snippet titles, and
generated Assistant chat titles for these customers.

The AI opt-in copy now adds a reminder to obtain consent from data
subjects, linking the [shared responsibility
model](https://supabase.com/docs/guides/deployment/shared-responsibility-model)
based also on [this
comment](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/AI-1153/allow-hipaa-orgs-to-opt-in-to-assistant-data-access-for-high#comment-f81ee610).

To test with a HIPAA-enabled project in staging, you can use this [Plan
Change
[Staging]](https://app.hex.tech/supabase/app/Plan-Change-Staging-032BD32jo1EaisCS85qunf/latest)
Hex to add the HIPAA add-on. Once the add-on is present, you can turn on
High Compliance from a project's settings. Also in org settings, crank
up the Assistant data opt-in level and verify the Assistant is able to
answer questions about the project's data.

- Debugging assistance and AI actions remain available for eligible
users without additional HIPAA-based blocking.
- AI metadata warnings consistently show standard opt-in messaging and
permission settings.
- AI settings remind users to obtain consent before entering personal
data and link to shared responsibility guidance.

Saxon FletcherandClaude Opus 5 252f69e451 chore(studio): refine Explorer sidebar, onboarding, and notebooks (#50555)
## Summary

A round of small Explorer refinements.

**Sidebar**
- Adds a **Run SQL** row (with a `+` icon) above Notebooks in the
Explorer sidebar; opens a new query tab.

**Assistant**
- Assistant query cells now have the same **Save** dropdown as query
tabs (add to an existing notebook or create a new one). It shows only
when Explorer is enabled, and not while the query is still streaming.
- `SaveQueryDropdown` takes an optional `source`, so logs queries are
saved as log cells (keeping their time range) instead of database cells.
This also fixes saving logs queries from query tabs.
- The "Drafting notebook..." notice (and the notebook loading/status
rows) now span the full message width; `delete_notebook` parts use the
wide layout like create/update.

**Onboarding**
- Replaces the single page with a four-step walkthrough: Welcome to
Explorer (with a **Preview** badge), Run SQL, Notebooks, and Chat with
your project. Each step has an icon, heading, and short description,
with step dots and **Skip** / **Back** / **Next** buttons; the last step
ends with **Continue to Explorer**.
- Removes the "Choose how Explorer opens" choice (still available in
Account preferences) and the collapsible "Learn more" section. Skipping
or finishing still respects the saved startup preference.
- Deletes `ExplorerOnboardingLearnMore`, `ExplorerHomePreference`, and
`ExplorerHomePreview`, which were only used by onboarding.

**Notebooks**
- Query cells use the same max width as markdown cells (`48rem`, was
`72rem`).
- "Add query cell" / "Add markdown cell" are now **Add query** / **Add
markdown** everywhere; the buttons at the bottom of a notebook are
larger (34px, 18px icons).

## Test plan

- [ ] Explorer sidebar: **Run SQL** opens a new query tab
- [ ] Assistant: generate SQL, use **Save** to add it to a new and an
existing notebook; repeat with a logs query and confirm a log cell is
created
- [ ] Assistant: ask for a notebook and confirm the drafting notice is
full width
- [ ] Clear `hasCompletedOnboarding` in Explorer preferences and step
through onboarding (Next / Back / Skip); finishing or skipping respects
the startup preference set in Account preferences
- [ ] Notebook: query cells line up with markdown cell width; bottom add
buttons are larger

## Summary by CodeRabbit

- **New Features**
  - Added a **Run SQL** shortcut to Explorer navigation.

- **Improvements**
- Updated Explorer onboarding with guided steps, progress navigation,
and visual previews.
  - Shortened Explorer action labels and refined control sizing.
- Reduced notebook query layout width and adjusted assistant notebook

Lukas BernertandClaude Fable 5 77ee1ec127 chore(studio): describe compute CPU by size tier (#50401)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Copy/label update in Studio's compute surfaces.

## Description

Compute CPU descriptions now branch on the compute size tier:

- Sizes below Large read **"Shared compute"** (no core count)
- Large and up read **"Dedicated · N vCPUs"** — the unit is always vCPU

Changes:

- New `lib/compute-labels.ts` helper (`isSharedComputeSize`,
`getComputeCpuLabel`) with unit tests
- Compute badge hover card, compute size picker, and project-creation
selector use the new labels
- `new-project.constants.ts` cpu strings updated accordingly
- ">16XL" card: "Custom CPU" → "Custom compute"; upsell copy now says
"64 vCPUs"
- The synthetic Nano/Micro addon `meta` no longer has
`cpu_cores`/`cpu_dedicated`; removed the now-unused cpu fields from the
hardcoded instance specs
- Project-creation sub-text: "Larger, dedicated compute available after
creation"

## Tests

- New unit tests for the label helper
- Infrastructure settings page test now asserts the rendered labels

Fixes PROD-663

Saxon FletcherandClaude Opus 5 7880c2f079 fix(studio): explorer chat and notebook layout refinements (#50453)
Five layout fixes across Explorer chat, notebooks, and the sidebar.

### Chat

- **Conversation fade overlapped the scrollbar.** The top and bottom
gradients are positioned against the conversation's padding box, which
includes the scroll container's scrollbar gutter, so `inset-x-0` painted
them over the scrollbar. They now stop at the conversation's content
gutter, which `Conversation` owns for both the content and the fades.
- **Composer background bled past the input's radius.** The form paints
the surface behind the textarea but had no radius of its own, so its
square corners showed outside the `rounded-lg` input. It now shares the
radius.
- **Message parts used two different widths.** Wide parts come down to
`max-w-3xl` so every part shares a column, matching `AssistantQueryCell`
and `AssistantNotebookPreview`. `isWide` / `isWideMessagePart` stay in
place with both widths equal, so a part can diverge again later without
rebuilding the mechanism.

### Notebooks

- **Cell controls sat at the container edge.** Each cell centred itself
at its own max width while the grip and add-cell button stayed at the
far left of the full-width row, leaving a large gap. `SortableSection`
takes a `sectionWidth` and carries its control gutter twice — once as
the controls, once as padding on the other side — so the section stays
centred with its controls immediately beside it. Cell widths are
unchanged (prose `48rem`, query `72rem`); set them equal and the two
cell types' controls line up on their own.

The controls stay in flow rather than floating in an outside gutter, so
on a viewport narrower than the cap the row just fills the space instead
of clipping the controls into the padding.

### Sidebar

- **Search icon didn't line up with the menu row icons.** The row box
already sits flush with the search input's box, so rows moved from
`pl-3` to `pl-2` to put their icons on the same 8px offset the search
icon uses. Spacing between the input and the list now matches the 12px
side padding.

### Testing

`pnpm --filter studio run typecheck`, Prettier, and 378 tests across
`Explorer`, `ProjectHome`, `AIAssistantPanel`, and `ExplorerLayout`
pass. ESLint warning counts are unchanged from master.

These were reasoned from layout rather than checked in a browser, so
they're worth a look on a preview before merge.

content widths.
  * Improved chat form styling with rounded corners.
* Adjusted conversation spacing and fade overlays to avoid overlapping
the scrollbar.
* Preserved full-width behavior where appropriate while keeping controls
aligned.

* **Tests**
* Updated layout tests to reflect revised width and alignment behavior.

99be7f92ce feat(studio): add Privacy Policy update notice (#50397)
## Summary

Adds a compact Privacy Policy update notice for signed-in Studio users
on organization landing pages.

- Shows on `/org`, `/organizations`, and `/org/:slug`
- Opens the approved policy explanation in a dialog
- Links to the Privacy Policy and `privacy@supabase.com`
- Persists acknowledgement in a dated local storage key
- Stays off project and organization settings routes so it cannot cover
product controls

## Why

The Privacy Policy changes the data controller from Supabase, Inc. to
Supabase Pte. Ltd. User rights and protections are unchanged.

This restores the established authenticated Studio notification pattern:

- [#35923](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/35923): May 2025
Privacy Policy notice
- [#43681](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/43681) and
[#43889](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/43889): March 2026
Privacy Policy notice and design pass
- [#45632](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/45632): May 2026
Terms of Service notice
- [#48524](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/48524): current
reusable Studio banner stack

## Release order

The policy content and Studio notice deploy independently. Keep this PR
in draft until [#50392](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/50392)
is approved, merged, and live. The notice appears immediately when this
Studio change deploys.

## To test

1. Open Studio on `/organizations` or an organization project-list page.
2. Confirm the compact Privacy Policy notice appears.
3. Open **Learn more** and confirm the dialog copy and both links.
4. Select **Understood** or close the notice.
5. Reload and confirm the notice remains dismissed.
6. Remove `privacy-policy-update-2026-09-16-dismissed` from local
storage and confirm the notice returns.
7. Open a project route and confirm the notice is absent.

## Verification

- Prettier passes on changed files.
- ESLint passes on changed Studio files.
- Focused Vitest suites pass: 25 tests.
- Studio Unit Tests & Build Check passes.
- TypeScript & Lint, UI Tests, Studio Docker Build, dead-code, ratchet,
and validation workflows pass.
- All four self-hosted Studio E2E shards pass for both router
implementations.
- All deploy previews pass.
- The Studio preview rendered the compact notice on the organization
landing page without console errors. The dialog and dismissal flow still
need an authenticated browser pass after the session redirected to
sign-in.

A direct local Studio TypeScript check reaches one existing unrelated
error in
`packages/ui-patterns/src/McpUrlBuilder/components/InstructionBlocks.tsx`;
no changed file reports an error and the required TypeScript CI workflow
passes.

## Measurement

Success means signed-in users can find the updated policy from the
organization landing experience without interrupting project work. The
dated dismissal key confirms acknowledgement locally. CI protects the
non-blocking route scope, and Privacy can monitor questions sent to
`privacy@supabase.com` after release.

Joshen Lim ee3fbc4e61 Joshenlim/fe 4383 consolidate tablerow no search result state (#50389)
### Context

Just some housekeeping/consolidate refactors. There's a number of places
where we render the same "no result" empty state for tables. So this PR
just consolidates that into a reusable component `TableRowNoResults` to
reduce duplication.

Opting to save this under `components/ui` instead of the `ui` package as
this is more of a derivation of `TableRow` than a primitive

## Summary by CodeRabbit

- **UI Improvements**
- Standardized empty search-result messages across database, functions,
storage, and vector bucket tables.
- Search terms now appear consistently when no matching records are
found.
  - Added an accessible label to the vector bucket row actions menu.
- Improved the storage explorer loading layout so content expands to use
available vertical space.

7fce0a12d9 feat(design-system): first pass at db report chart colours (#46787)
## I have read the
[CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md)
file.

YES

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

This is a first draft at introducing semantic colours to our
Observability charts. This moves away from just random colours being
assigned to prop after prop. They're only scoped to the Database reports
right now, but if it flows nice, we can open it up to the other reports
too.

This also aims to tone down some of the harsher colours in our charts,
such as the orange which sometimes can look like a warning metric/prop.

Joshen Lim 4b24548345 Fix sync between filter bar and filter controls in unified logs (#50383)
### Context

In unified logs, adding a filter to the filter bar (e.g filtering on log
type) doesn't sync with the filter controls in the left menu (although
it does the other way around). Example here filtering on log type to
equals to edge (API Gateway)
<img width="400" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/080aba77-3366-4530-8443-3c8902aefd20"
/>

Both filter bar and filter controls share the same URL state with nuqs,
and it comes in 2 shapes:
- a bare `string[]` for = conditions
- a wrapped `{ operator, values }` object for other operators

The filter bar didn't follow this convention for the first one as it
always wrote the wrapped object which made the checkbox appear untickets
on the filter controls (which expects the first one) - this always
caused the filter to show up as `[object Object]` if you add a log type
filter via the filter bar first, then check the same log type filter in
the filter controls.

### Changes involved
Am opting to streamline the expected data shape and have both components
always expect the wrapped object shape so we don't have to deal with 2
different shapes (feels unnecessary)

### To test
- Verify that applying a log type filter (e.g postgres) in the filter
bar should reflect the checkbox for the same log type filter in the
filter controls on the left to be checked as well
- Unchecking the checkbox in the filter controls should thereafter
remove the filter in the filter bar too

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit

- **Improvements**
- Unified Logs filters now use a consistent operator-and-values format
across filtering controls.
- Checkbox filters preserve operators when selecting multiple values or
using **Only**.
- Mixed filter conditions are handled more consistently, with
unsupported values ignored.
- Non-text filter values are converted consistently for reliable
filtering.
- **Bug Fixes**
- Improved consistency when applying, displaying, and updating Unified
Logs column filters.

Joshen Lim 558bee9ebf Improve SQL Editor auto completion for column names (#48734)
## Context

Currently with the SQL Editor, the auto-completion via intellisense only
works nicely with the `.` operator - e.g after keying in a schema and
trying to find a table as such:
<img width="500" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/86ec8455-47b9-43d3-925a-c13d0fd6ac44"
/>

But lacks support for finding the columns of a table after a `where`
clause - so the changes here addresses that by mainly adjust the
`PgSQLCompletionProvider`

Also addresses a number of type fixes (replaces all the `any` types)

Jordi Enric 38e8f12b1b fix(studio): gate homepage health advisor (#50328)
## Problem

Health Advisor results appear on the project homepage whenever the main
`healthAdvisor` flag is enabled, so the homepage cannot be rolled out
separately. The existing gates also contain redundant boolean and
platform checks.

## Fix

Require both `healthAdvisor` and `healthAdvisorInHomepage` before
fetching or displaying health advisories on the homepage. Simplify all
Health Advisor gates to use the boolean ConfigCat flag directly,
including the cleanup requested in the review of #50326.

## How to test

- Enable only `healthAdvisor` and verify Health Advisor remains
available outside the homepage while health results do not appear or
load on the homepage.
- Enable both flags and verify health results appear on the homepage.
- Disable `healthAdvisor` and verify Health Advisor remains unavailable
everywhere.
- Existing targeted tests pass: 5 tests across Advisor menu and panel
integration suites.
- Prettier and whitespace checks pass.

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **New Features**
* Health Advisor is now available in non-platform environments when
enabled.
* Navigation, filtering, lint checks, and project pages consistently
follow the Health Advisor feature setting.
  * Self-hosted environments can use the Health Advisor category.
* **Bug Fixes**
* Homepage Health Advisor visibility now follows both the Health Advisor
and homepage-specific settings.
* Updated empty states and health lint results to match the configured
availability.

Jordi Enric 519a3a5644 fix(studio): gate health advisor behind feature flag (#50326)
## Problem

Health Advisor runs checks and displays health alerts without a
dedicated rollout flag.

## Fix

Gate Health Advisor behind the ConfigCat `healthAdvisor` flag,
defaulting to off when missing or loading. This covers the navigation
and shortcut, command menu, direct page access, homepage alerts, Advisor
panel filters and details, and health-check requests. Cached health
results and saved Health filters no longer surface health content when
disabled. Existing platform-only restrictions remain.

The `healthAdvisor` flag will be created separately in ConfigCat.

## How to test

- With `healthAdvisor` off, verify Health Advisor is absent from
navigation, command search, homepage alerts, and Advisor panel
categories. Opening `/project/<ref>/advisors/health` shows an
unavailable message. No health-check POST requests should run.
- With the flag on for an active platform project, verify these surfaces
return and health checks load.
- Disable the flag after loading health results and selecting the Health
filter or an alert. Verify cached health alerts disappear and the panel
remains usable.
- Existing menu tests pass. No new feature flag tests are included.
Formatting and whitespace checks passed.
- Local lint could not start because the available dependency
installation is missing `@eslint/compat`. Full TypeScript validation
failed with missing dependencies and incompatible workspace types in the
reused local dependency installation; it did not provide a clean
validation result.

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **New Features**
* Health Advisor availability is now controlled by a feature flag on the
platform.
* When enabled, health advisories appear in advisor menus, filters,
project checks, and empty-state messaging.
* When unavailable, the Health Advisor page clearly indicates that it
isn’t available for the project.

* **Bug Fixes**
* Health advisory data is no longer requested when the feature is
disabled, preventing unavailable health results and errors from
appearing.

Danny White 476d4a5851 refactor(ui): drop redundant Button variant="default" props (#50161)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Mechanical cleanup on top of the Button default-variant change (#50160).

## What is the current behavior?

Many callsites still pass `variant="default"` even though that is now
the component default.

## What is the new behavior?

Removes redundant static `variant="default"` from legacy `Button` and
`ButtonTooltip` callsites. Keeps explicit defaults where they document
the API:

- `button-default.tsx` and `button-sizes.tsx` demos
- `DocsButton`, which pins neutral styling at the wrapper boundary

## To test

Studio:

- [Auth → Rate
Limits](https://studio-staging-2s957kwc4-supabase.vercel.app/dashboard/project/_/auth/rate-limits):
dirty the form so Cancel appears; Cancel stays neutral, Save stays green
- [Project Settings → API
Keys](https://studio-staging-2s957kwc4-supabase.vercel.app/dashboard/project/_/settings/api-keys):
`DocsButton` in the header actions stays neutral

Design system:

- [Design system →
Button](https://design-system-git-dnywh-dc924ac1-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/components/button):
`button-default` / `button-sizes` still show explicit default styling;
Primary (green) is restricted to the Primary section (and `asChild`)

WWW:

- [www → Brand
assets](https://zone-www-dot-com-git-dnywh-dc924ac1-supabase.vercel.app/brand-assets):
Download logo kit / Download button kit stay neutral

Gildas GarciaandAlaister Young 737b8595f2 Update API types (#50234)
## Problem

platform, v1 and v2 have been already completely migrated and introduced
some changes.

Some types have been renamed, some outputs and inputs updated.

## Solution

- Update the API types
- Fix the TS errors

## Update

Taking this over to unblock #50134, which needs the new scoped token
permission ids from the regenerated types.

- Merged `master`.
- Regenerated `api-v2.d.ts` from the production spec. The previous files
came from a local API that exposed a webhook events endpoint production
doesn't have yet. Production has since added standardized 400 error
responses on the v2 organization endpoints. `api-v1.d.ts` and
`platform.d.ts` already matched production.
- Fixed `verify-production-types`. It formatted the regenerated files in
a temp directory outside the repository, so Prettier fell back to its
defaults and the comparison could never match the committed files. It
now passes the repository config explicitly. `pnpm api:verify-types`
passes on this branch.
- Verified locally: `pnpm typecheck`, `pnpm api:verify-types`, Studio
unit tests.

Danny White e57aae3c83 feat(design-system): document disabled controls and add focusableWhenDisabled (#50068)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Docs update, with supporting `ui` and Studio changes.

## What is the current behaviour?

Disabled buttons with tooltips use native `disabled`, which removes them
from the tab order. Keyboard users cannot focus the control or read the
tooltip explaining why an action is blocked.

The design system also lacked guidance on keeping disabled actions
discoverable and explaining why they are unavailable.

## What is the new behaviour?

- Adds a **Disabled controls** section to the accessibility docs, with
live examples for a focusable disabled button and visible page-level
context
- Adds `focusableWhenDisabled` to `Button`, keeping `disabled` as the
semantic state while using `aria-disabled`, retaining keyboard focus,
and guarding click handlers
- Updates Studio's `ButtonTooltip` to make disabled buttons with tooltip
text focusable automatically

Also includes earlier design-system fixes on this branch:

- Centralises `BASE_PATH` with a `/design-system` fallback so asset URLs
work without a local `.env` file
- Fixes sidebar hover and active tokens in design-system and ui-library,
aligned with Studio's `InnerSideMenuItem`

## To test

**Design system**

1. Open the [accessibility
preview](https://design-system-git-fix-design-system-docs-and-nav-fixes-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/accessibility)
2. Scroll to **Disabled controls**
3. Tab to the **disabled-focusable** example. Confirm the button remains
focusable, looks disabled, and shows its tooltip on focus
4. Confirm the **disabled-unavailable-with-notice** example shows the
admonition and focusable disabled button pattern

**Studio (optional, requires a High Availability project)**

5. Go to Settings → General → **Pause project**. Tab to the button and
confirm it remains focusable, looks disabled, and shows the HA tooltip
on focus
6. Go to Database → Backups and find **Restore** on a scheduled backup
row. Confirm the same behaviour
