## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
This is a first draft at introducing semantic colours to our
Observability charts. This moves away from just random colours being
assigned to prop after prop. They're only scoped to the Database reports
right now, but if it flows nice, we can open it up to the other reports
too.
This also aims to tone down some of the harsher colours in our charts,
such as the orange which sometimes can look like a warning metric/prop.

Removes Studio code that nothing imports, as reported by knip. First PR
in a stack of three: this one is pure deletions, #49720 removes the
unused dependencies, #49721 upgrades knip and adds the CI gate so this
doesn't accumulate again.
Every file was verified with a repo-wide grep for its basename, exported
symbols, and string/dynamic imports before deletion — none are reachable
via `next/dynamic`, a barrel file, or a config.
**Removed:**
-
`Billing/Usage/UsageWarningAlerts/{CPU,RAM,DiskIOBandwidth}Warnings.tsx`
(whole directory)
- `DataWarehouse/FormFooterChangeBadge.tsx` (whole directory)
- `Database/Replication/ReplicationDiagram/EmptyReplicationDiagram.tsx`
- `Integrations/Vercel/OrganizationPicker.tsx`
- `QueryInsights/QueryInsightsTable/QueryInsightsTableRow.tsx`
- `hooks/misc/useTrackExperimentExposure.ts`
- `data/ai/{parse-client-code,sql-policy}-mutation.ts`,
`data/misc/parse-query-mutation.ts`,
`data/database/table-check-rls-mutation.ts`
-
`data/notifications/notifications-v2-{archive-all-mutation,summary-query}.ts`
+ their two now-unused keys in `notifications/keys.ts` (`listV2` kept)
-
`data/platform-apps/platform-app-{update,signing-key-delete}-mutation.ts`
- `DateTimeFormats.DATE_ONLY` and the unused
`Notebooks.{MarkdownCell,LogCell,ChartConfig}` types
**Changed:**
- `ReportPadding` no longer has a duplicate default export; its 9
default importers (observability pages) now use the named export
Not removed: `CONSTRAINT_TYPE`'s unused members mirror the closed set of
`pg_constraint.contype` values, so they're documentation rather than
dead code — suppressed narrowly in #49721's knip config instead.
## To test
- `pnpm --filter studio run typecheck` and `lint:ratchet` pass
- Observability pages (`/project/[ref]/observability/*`) still render
with padding — they're the only code touched, via the `ReportPadding`
import change
- Notifications popover still loads and marks-as-read (the removed keys
weren't used for invalidation)
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai

## Summary by CodeRabbit
- **Removed Features**
- Removed CPU, memory, and disk usage warning alerts.
- Removed the Vercel organization picker and empty replication diagram.
- Removed query insights row actions and several SQL assistance tools.
- Removed notification summary and archive-all capabilities.
- Removed platform app update and signing-key deletion actions.
- Removed the form change-count badge and experiment exposure tracking.
- **Refactor**
- Updated observability reports to use the revised report layout export.

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **New Features**
* Improved execution-time chart formatting with clearer millisecond
values, thousands separators, and configurable precision.
* Chart highlights now support custom value formatting alongside
existing number, percentage, and byte formats.
* **Bug Fixes**
* Non-finite execution-time values now display safely as `0ms`.
<!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai -->
Line-style report charts (auth processing time, percentiles, edge
functions, realtime, etc.) hardcoded `stackId="1"` on every `<Area>`, so
recharts summed the series additively instead of overlaying them.
When multiple series share a value (e.g. Max/Min/Avg all `153.98`), they
rendered as three stacked bands at 1x/2x/3x the value, even though the
tooltip showed the true identical values.
## Fix
Default each area to its own `stackId` (its attribute name) so series
overlay, while still honoring an explicit per-attribute `stackId` from
config — matching the existing bar-chart path directly above it.
`normalizeVisibleStackToPercent`, the only flag that would make stacked
areas intentional, is never enabled anywhere.
## Before / after
Before: three equal values drawn at `0→153.98`, `153.98→307.96`,
`307.96→461.94`.
After: all three overlay at `153.98`.
Affects every line-style multi-series report, not just auth.

## Summary by CodeRabbit
- **Bug Fixes**
- Improved stacked chart behavior by consistently applying configured
series stacking settings.
- Ensured area charts can overlay correctly when no explicit stacking
configuration is provided.
- Added safeguards for missing or invalid chart attribute data.
- **Tests**
- Added coverage for configured stack IDs, fallback behavior, empty
values, and invalid inputs.

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
A11y cleanup follow-up to #47984 /
[DEPR-626](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/DEPR-626).
## What is the current behavior?
Studio had 82 ratcheted `supabase/require-explicit-tabindex` violations
(raw `<button>` / `role="button"` without explicit `tabIndex`).
## What is the new behavior?
- Explicit `tabIndex={0}` (or disabled → `-1`) on those Studio call
sites across nav, `components/ui`, Database, Storage, and the remainder
- Ratchet baseline cleared (**82 → 0**) and the rule **removed from the
Studio ratchet** (debt is gone; ratchet is temporary)
- Rule remains a shared **`warn`** for now — promoting to `error` (and
sweeping www/docs/design-system) is a follow-up
- Also fixed the learn/ui-library call sites that surfaced while
experimenting with error promotion
- Small follow-ups where making controls focusable exposed gaps:
accessible names, disabled/focus consistency, focus-ring polish on
To-test surfaces, home section `KeyboardSensor`, and an E2E locator
tightened after `aria-label="Remove column"`
Prefer migrating to `Button` from `ui` in future touch-ups; this PR
takes the minimal path so Studio debt can stay at zero.
## Additional context
Batches landed together so baseline conflicts stayed simple while
chipping away:
- Hotspots / nav (FirstLevelNav, Marketplace, AttachmentUpload, Column,
Tabs, …)
- `components/ui` shared
- Database + Storage
- Remainder
**Out of scope / intentional deferrals**
- Promoting `supabase/require-explicit-tabindex` to a lint **error**
(follow-up after www/docs/design-system sweeps)
- Tabs/Radio roving, tooltips, context menus, in-menu items
- Full keyboard-accessible tab-close UX (close stays hover +
`tabIndex={-1}`; context menu still closes tabs)
- Data API docs links (`/project/<ref>/api` redirect)
**Reviewer notes**
- Rule only flags raw `<button>` / `role="button"` without a `tabIndex`
prop. `Button` from `ui` already bakes this in
- `tabIndex={-1}` is intentional for disabled controls, in-menu /
roving-focus children, and hover-only tab close
- For dnd-kit grips, put `tabIndex` **after** `{...attributes}` so it
isn’t overwritten (TS2783)
### To test
Use **Safari** with macOS Keyboard navigation **off** (System Settings →
Keyboard). Chrome once for a sanity pass. For each surface below: Tab
until the control is focused, then activate with Enter/Space where
relevant.
1. **API Docs side panel** (Table Editor → open a table → **API docs**)
- Floating API Docs panel — **not** `/project/<ref>/api` (that redirects
to Data API docs; language ToggleGroup uses arrow keys; links are out of
scope)
- Left nav buttons — Tab through several and activate one; active
highlight / navigation still works
2. **Integrations → Marketplace**
- Enable **Integrations layout** feature preview first (avatar menu →
Feature previews)
- `/org/<slug>/integrations` or project integrations marketplace
- “Clear all”, grid/list toggles — Tab + activate
3. **Table Editor → create a table → Columns**
- Drag handles only appear while **creating** (not when editing an
existing table)
- Tab to grip / remove (X) / sensitive-data eye if shown
4. **Project Home** — section drag handles
- Tab to a grip (visible focus ring)
- Optional: Space to pick up, arrows to move, Space/Esc to drop
(KeyboardSensor added)
- Mouse dnd still works
5. **Storage → Policies** — expand/collapse bucket list chevron
(design-system focus ring, no stuck grey open bg)
6. **Support form** (Help → Support) — attachment remove (×) and
add-attachment control when visible
Disabled controls should be **skipped** by Tab.
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Accessibility Improvements**
* Improved keyboard navigation throughout Studio by explicitly managing
focus (`tabIndex`) across many interactive controls (menus, tabs,
tables, charts, dialogs, navigation, and form actions).
* Disabled or non-interactive controls are now removed from the tab
order (or made unfocusable), while available actions remain reachable.
* Ensured `type="button"` on relevant controls to prevent unintended
submissions, and refined keyboard focus behavior for various toggles and
copy/remove actions.
* **Chores**
* Updated the ESLint rule baseline configuration to match the new focus
behavior.

## Problem
In a database report, dragging over a chart to open logs had two bugs.
Clicking a bar instead of dragging produced a zero-width selection (its
=== ite), so the logs view showed no results. Separately, the logs
datepicker crashed with "Invalid time value" because the chart put raw
epoch-ms values into the its/ite URL params, which get parsed with new
Date(string) and yield an Invalid Date that react-day-picker cannot
format.
## Fix
The chart now emits ISO timestamps in the logs URL so its/ite match the
format every other logs consumer already uses, and the datepicker guards
against unparseable values from any source (such as old bookmarked
links). A single click now expands the highlight to the clicked bucket,
from the bar's start to the next bar's start, so the selection, popover,
and logs range all cover the bar the user picked.
## How to test
1. Open a database report with a chart (for example Postgres, project
logs).
2. Drag across the chart, choose "Open in Postgres Logs", then open the
timepicker. Expected: it opens without crashing and shows the selected
range.
3. Go back and single-click one bar instead of dragging. Expected: that
bar's bucket is selected and "Open in Postgres Logs" loads logs for a
real, non-empty range.
4. Run the chart tests, expected all pass: pnpm --filter studio exec
vitest --run components/ui/Charts
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Bug Fixes**
* Prevented invalid log date inputs from creating invalid date
selections.
* Improved chart “open logs” links by normalizing the selected time
bounds (now consistently sent as ISO timestamps).
* Refined chart highlight behavior for click-to-advance and more
accurate left/right range selection, supporting both numeric and string
coordinate values.
* Updated the chart highlight dropdown display for clearer formatting of
numeric vs non-numeric dates.
* **Tests**
* Added Vitest coverage for chart highlight click, drag, and left/right
ordering scenarios.

## Problem
In the unified logs dashboard, clicking an activity bar in the chart
restarted the fly-by entrance animation instead of selecting that bar.
There was also no way to select a single bar by clicking it (only
drag-to-select worked), and the selection menu was centered over the
selection rather than anchored to its start.
## Fix
- Disabled Recharts' `isAnimationActive` on the stacked `Bar` elements
so re-renders from selection state no longer replay the entrance
animation.
- Clicking a single bar now selects that bar's full time bucket and
opens the "Filter logs to selected range" menu, the same as dragging
across it.
- The menu is anchored to the start (leftmost pixel) of the selection
instead of the mouse release position.
## How to test
- Open a project's unified logs page
- Wait for the activity chart to finish its initial load
- Click on a single bar
- Expected result: the bar is highlighted, the chart does not replay its
entrance animation, and the range-filter menu appears anchored at the
start of that bar
- Drag across multiple bars
- Expected result: the range-filter menu appears anchored at the start
of the dragged selection, not centered over it

## Summary by CodeRabbit
- **Bug Fixes**
- Fixed chart highlight popovers to anchor consistently to the start of
the selected range.
- Improved popover behavior so it updates correctly when the position
changes.
- Corrected zoom-in filtering when the selected range contains a single
timestamp.
- **UI Improvements**
- Reduced conflicts between tooltips and selection popovers by rendering
tooltip content only when appropriate.
- Disabled stacked-bar animations for error/warning/success to make
chart interactions feel steadier.

## Context
Realised that tooltips were not showing up for supavisor charts in
database reports - just needed to flip a boolean
Although - i don't have any projects with supavisor connections data
(even on prod) so I can't visually verify this atm
Also fixes a small issue in which docs url for the chart wasn't showing
if the chart had no data, e.g:

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **New Features**
* Enabled tooltips for the “Shared Pooler (Supavisor) client
connections” chart so the metric can be inspected directly.
* **UI Improvements**
* Adjusted the tooltip positioning in the chart header for clearer
readability.
* When charts have no data, the “Learn more”/documentation link now
follows the provided docs URL.

## Context
Tiny styling issue with the report settings component here (padding)
<img width="301" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/381a89c4-b1d5-419e-94a1-74149881068c"
/>
But also realised that `Popover` is a more suitable component than
`DropdownMenu` here - so refactored the component + adjust the padding
issue. Opting to use `text-xs` as well since that's the font size we
usually use in a popover / dropdown
<img width="301" height="218" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/7ce0452e-eb7a-4bc9-93b4-b30164e74c31"
/>
Furthermore, am opting to hide the sync tooltip option if sync header is
false
Am thinking in this case it makes sense to hide the UI since sync
tooltip is dependent on sync header (would add confusion if we show this
setting disabled + users would need to read the description "requires
sync hover" to understand why)

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **UI Improvements**
* Updated the report settings menu to use a popover layout for a
cleaner, more structured presentation.

queries.
* **Refactor**
* Simplified data table, unified logs, and assistant panel internals by
removing legacy display and navigation pieces.
* **Bug Fixes**

## Problem
Our `<Button>` component breaks the default `button` contract by
redefining the `type` prop to set its variant (`primary`, `default`,
etc) instead of the button type (`submit`, `button`, etc).
This is confusing and forces to write more code when using it with
shadcn components that expect/inject the standard button props.
## Solution
- rename the `type` prop to `variant`
- rename the `htmlType` prop to `type`
- propagate the changes where necessary
- format code
## How to test
As this is just prop renaming, if it builds it's ok

Previously the `overflow-hidden` on the custom report charts container
was cutting off the tooltip within the card bounds. This PR introduces
`PortalChartTooltip` here so the tooltip is able to appear outside of
the bounding area. It is still directionally aware, just relative to the
page viewport as opposed to bounding box.

- Noticing our code we have many patterns of calling localstorage and
handling those errors
- We should add those in a single well tested file

feature we expose
- Side effect of this is random crashes on studio when local storage
isn't available or handled correctly

Fixes [DEBUG-94](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/DEBUG-94)
## Summary
- **Min MB units**: Added \`formatBytesMinMB\` helper that always
formats byte values in at least MB. Applied to RAM and swap y-axis tick
formatters, tooltips, and chart headers.
- **Swap chart scale**: Every Supabase compute instance is provisioned
with **1 GB of swap regardless of size** (per
[docs](https://supabase.com/docs/guides/troubleshooting/memory-and-swap-usage-explained-aPNgm0)),
so the swap y-axis always shows at least 0 to 1 GB. Low swap usage no
longer fills the full chart height. Removed the show/hide limit toggle
since the limit is implicit in the y-axis scale.
- **Swap units in header/tooltip**: Fixed all three formatters (initial
header, hover-sync header, tooltip) to use \`formatBytesMinMB\` for swap
so the value always shows a unit like "2.00 MB".
- **Reference-line defensive fix**: Added a \`customValue\` fallback in
\`useAttributeQueries\` so future reference-line attributes that use
\`customValue\` instead of \`value\` are not silently overwritten to 0.
## Test plan
- [ ] Open DB Reports and verify RAM/Swap y-axis labels show MB (or GB
for large values), never KB or bytes
- [ ] Hover a bar in the swap chart and verify tooltip and header show
the same value with a unit (e.g. "2.00 MB")
- [ ] With low or zero swap usage, the chart bars are flat and the
y-axis goes 0 to 1 GB
- [ ] CPU chart limit toggle still renders at 100% (regression check on
the \`useAttributeQueries\` fallback change)

This PR finishes the Tailwind migration by doing some minor fixes:
- Remove `@radix-ui/colors` and inline the color values into the color
definitions. The default Tailwind colors are unset and replaced by our
own color set (both in light and dark variants).
- Remove the `colorA` colors because they were used with alpha values.
They were unused and Tailwind v4 supports alpha values natively.
- Replace the `hit-area` JS config with the original CSS config from
https://bazza.dev/craft/2026/hit-area. The original config was migrated
to JS config to work with Tailwind v3. Now that we're on v4, we can just
use the source format.
- Remove the `motion-safe-transition` plugin since it's now [supported
natively by
Tailwind](https://tailwindcss.com/docs/transition-duration#supporting-reduced-motion)
- Replace `tailwindcss-animate` with `tw-animate-css`. The old plugin
was unmaintained and using JS config. The new one should be a drop-in
replacement.
- Remove all scripts for generating colors, they're not needed anymore,
all values are hardcoded.

This PR migrates the JS config for Tailwind into a CSS config. As such,
all variables have been defined as CSS variables and they're using the
specialized Tailwind syntax for generating utility classes.
Beside the migration, these changes were also added:
- Added `tailwind.config.css` to few packages to make the Tailwind
Intellisense work.
- Migrated away from Radix style color classes to our defined classes,
the values will remain the same.
- Most of the CSS is generated by scripts, they'll be removed in next
PRs.
* Removed redundant `border-light` classes from several components since
it was undefined.
* Removed redundant `text-strong` classes from several components since
it was undefined.
How to test:
- Open all apps, compare the UI (mainly colors) to builds from #45417
and try to find a difference.

## Problem
When users hit a disk IO exhaustion notification, they open the Database
Observability report and find IOPS and throughput charts, but no view of
the metric that actually fired the warning: the EBS burst credit
balance. That signal is currently only available behind Custom Reports,
so the warning feels disconnected from the visible data.
> "The Dashboard actually shows them their burst budget, not their
normal disk usage. It leads to a lot of confusion." — support
> "Customers may receive an 'exhausting multiple resources' warning and
it's confusing because all the charts are 'fine', but it's the burst
credits exhaustion that fails them." — Maksym
Reported in [Linear
DEBUG-60](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/DEBUG-60).
## Fix
Add a clearly-labeled "Disk IO Burst Balance" chart to
[getReportAttributesV2](apps/studio/data/reports/database-charts.ts)
plotting `disk_io_budget` (% remaining) on a 0-100 axis. Tooltip and
titleTooltip explain the 5 MB/s throttle floor so users can correlate
this chart with the exhaustion banner copy (also being updated in
[supabase#45514](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/45514)).
The chart is hidden for compute variants that have dedicated I/O
resources (4XL and above) since the burst credit pool does not apply
there. Burstable variants (nano through 2XL) see the chart inline next
to the existing IOPS and throughput charts.
DEBUG-61 ("replace Disk IO Usage % chart with disk throughput") was
already addressed in the V2 migration (the report only renders
`disk-iops` and `disk-throughput`; the old burst-percentage chart is
gone). I'll close that issue as completed once this lands.
## Test plan
- [ ] Visit `/project/{ref}/observability/database` on a project running
`nano`/`micro`/`small`/`medium`/`large`/`xlarge`/`2xlarge` compute.
Confirm the new "Disk IO Burst Balance" chart appears between throughput
and connections.
- [ ] On a project running `4xlarge` or larger compute, confirm the
chart is hidden (chart is omitted by `hide: !hasBurstableIO`).
- [ ] Hover the chart and a data point. Confirm the title tooltip and
inline attribute tooltip both surface the 5 MB/s throttle behaviour.
- [ ] Series renders 0-100 on the Y-axis.

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **New Features**
* Added a Disk IO Burst Balance chart to monitor remaining burst
credits; displays percentage (0–100%) with tooltip referencing baseline
throughput. Shown only for supported compute variants and when the
feature flag is enabled.
* **Bug Fixes / UI Improvements**
* Improved chart header tooltip presentation: uses a unified tooltip,
includes inline docs links when available, and avoids duplicate docs
icons.

## Problem
Recent database report PRs introduced `(value: any)` type annotations in
recharts `tickFormatter` callbacks, pushing the
`@typescript-eslint/no-explicit-any` ESLint ratchet from baseline 1014
to 1017 and blocking all PR merges.
## Fix
Replace `(value: any)` with `(value: number)` in all affected
`tickFormatter` callbacks across the three flagged files. Recharts
always passes a number to tick formatters, so this is a safe and
accurate type.
## How to test
- Run `pnpm lint --filter=studio` and confirm no new
`@typescript-eslint/no-explicit-any` violations appear in the three
changed files
- Check the ESLint ratchet count is back at or below baseline 1014

## Problem
The dashboard's timezone picker (#45517) propagates to log timestamps
and the shared TimestampInfo component, but observability and reports
charts still render their X-axis labels, range labels, and tooltip
headers in the browser's local timezone. The result is jarring once a
user picks a non-local timezone: hover a chart and you get one tz, hover
a log row and you get another.
## Fix
Routes all display-side timestamp formatting in the chart layer through
the existing picker-aware helpers (\`useFormatDateTime\` /
\`formatDateTime\`) so chart UI matches the rest of the dashboard.
- **ComposedChart.utils** \`CustomTooltip\` (the hotspot — drives every
observability dashboard tooltip): reads the active timezone via
\`useTimezone\` for both the header label and the formatted timestamp.
- **AreaChart** / **BarChart**: introduce a \`formatChartDate\` helper
that honours each component's existing \`displayDateInUtc\` prop,
otherwise routes through the picker.
- **ChartBlock**: the two recharts \`labelFormatter\` arrows now close
over \`useFormatDateTime\`.
- **ChartHighlightActions**: range labels in the zoom dropdown migrated
to the same hook.
Intentionally untouched (must stay UTC):
- \`ChartHandler\` / \`ChartBlock\` \`startDate\`/\`endDate\` (API range
params, day boundary).
- \`ChartBlock.tsx:166\` explicit \`.utc()\` data-key normalisation.
- \`useFillTimeseriesSorted\` and friends (range math, no display).
## How to test
- Sign in. Open the avatar dropdown, pick a timezone different from your
browser local (e.g. Asia/Tokyo).
- Visit any project, then \`/project/<ref>/reports/database\` (or any
\`/observability/...\` page).
- Hover any chart series — the tooltip header should display the chosen
IANA name and times in that timezone.
- Click-drag a range on a chart to open the zoom dropdown — start/end
labels in the menu should also be in the chosen timezone.
- Switch back to "Auto detect" and confirm everything reverts to
browser-local.
- For an AreaChart/BarChart that uses \`displayDateInUtc\` (e.g. some
legacy reports), confirm those still render in UTC regardless of picker.

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Refactor**
* Standardized date/time formatting across charts, tooltips, axis
labels, header/footer labels, and highlight range labels in Reports and
chart components.
* Switched to a shared, timezone-aware formatter that respects UTC
display mode or the selected picker/timezone, ensuring consistent,
human-readable timestamps throughout the UI.

This PR migrates the whole monorepo to use Tailwind v4:
- Removed `@tailwindcss/container-queries` plugin since it's included by
default in v4,
- Bump all instances of Tailwind to v4. Made minimal changes to the
shared config to remove non-supported features (`alpha` mentions),
- Migrate all apps to be compatible with v4 configs,
- Fix the `typography.css` import in 3 apps,
- Add missing rules which were included by default in v3,
- Run `pnpm dlx @tailwindcss/upgrade` on all apps, which renames a lot
of classes
- Rename all misnamed classes according to
https://tailwindcss.com/docs/upgrade-guide#renamed-utilities in all
apps.

This PR preps the monorepo for a migration to Tailwind v4:
- Bump all Tailwind dependencies and libraries to the latest possible
version, while still compatible with Tailwind 3.
- Cleans up obsolete Tailwind 3 specific options and configs.
- Cleans up unused CSS files and fixes the CSS imports.
- Migrates all `important` uses in `@apply` lines to using the `!`
prefix.
- Move `typography.css` to the `config` package and import it from the
apps.
- Migrated all occurrences of `flex-grow`, `flex-shrink`,
`overflow-clip` and `overflow-ellipsis` since they're deprecated and
will be removed in Tailwind 4.
- Make the default theme object typesafe in the `ui` package.
- Migrate all `bg-opacity`, `border-opacity`, `ring-opacity` and
`divider-opacity` to the new format where they're declared as part of
the property color.
- Bump and unify all imports of `postcss` dependency.
## Problem
While trying to update `react` to version `19`, I noticed type related
errors that can be fixed in version `18`, mostly usage of `JSX.Element`
instead of `ReactNode`.
## Solution
- Use `ReactNode` instead of `JSX.Element`
- Fix some invalid usage of `rechart`

## Summary
Fixes several high-impact Sentry errors reported in production.
### Fixed Issues
- **[SUPABASE-APP-EJ3](https://supabase.sentry.io/issues/7356937474/)**
— `TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'direct')`.
`connectionStringPooler` could be `undefined` when the connection source
doesn't match any key in the connection strings map. Added an early
return guard in `resolveConnectionString`.
- **[SUPABASE-APP-B17](https://supabase.sentry.io/issues/7117468199/)**
— `RangeError: Invalid time zone specified: Etc/Unknown`.
`dayjs.tz.guess()` returns `"Etc/Unknown"` for some users with
misconfigured browser/OS timezones. Added a shared
`guessLocalTimezone()` helper that validates the guessed timezone via
`Intl.DateTimeFormat` and falls back to UTC. Applied across all 4 call
sites.
- **[SUPABASE-APP-BCM](https://supabase.sentry.io/issues/7192934901/)**
— `TypeError: Cannot convert undefined or null to object`.
`Object.entries(definition.properties)` crashed when a JSON schema
definition existed but had no `properties` field. Updated the guard to
check `definition?.properties` instead of just `definition`.

## Test plan
- [ ] Verify connect dialog renders without errors when connection data
is still loading
- [ ] Verify API docs Entity view handles schema definitions without
properties
- [ ] Verify charts/tooltips display correct timezone labels

## Changes
- Replaces plan ID-based chart gating with entitlement-based checks
across all observability pages (database, auth, realtime,
edge-functions)
- Adds requiredPlan display field so the upsell shows the correct target
plan (e.g. "Upgrade to Team" for disk throughput, not just "Upgrade")
- Decouples database-charts.ts from Organization Plan, now accepts
pre-computed entitlement flags instead
### Note on `requiredPlan`
The entitlement system currently tells us whether a user has access, but
not what plan they need to get access. `requiredPlan` is a frontend-only
display hint. Ideally the backend entitlement response would include a
minimumPlan field so we can remove this hardcoded mapping. For now, this
is a pragmatic workaround to avoid misleading upsell copy (e.g. a Free
user seeing "Upgrade" for a Team-only feature and landing on Pro).
## Testing
### Database
- Head to `/project/_/observability/database` with an Org on the Free
Plan and assert that the Disk throughput is gated.

The Y axis domain/range was being calculated incorrectly.
Testing this is a bit painful. You need to:
- using tweak-extension or similar overwrite the API response for the
IOPS chart and add a really big value
- reload the page
- the Y axis should adapt to that really big value even if it goes over
the disk max iops
See screenshots below
## before
- big data point wouldn't change the chart range
- Y Axis max is 6k even tho we have a data point over 20k

src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/881aff6e-22a2-408d-b2c4-5a27f3fda386"
/>
## after
- the Y axis shows the correct range
<img width="932" height="786" alt="CleanShot 2026-02-25 at 18 47 57@2x"

/>
- uses old data source for charts
- uses new chart styles
- adapts the chart tooltip to be configurable
- removes animations from tooltip to prevent weird position transitions
- hides tooltip when there's no data

* refactor: infra queries to use `attributes`
This PR refactors the infrastructure monitoring query code reducing duplication and unifying the API request to always be `attributes`:
• Removed the separate useInfraMonitoringQuery hook and getInfraMonitoring function that handled a single monitoring query
• Consolidated all infrastructure monitoring queries into a unified useInfraMonitoringAttributesQuery hook that handles multi-attribute requests
• Moved interval selection logic from the query layer to the consumer (InfrastructureActivity.tsx), where it can be computed dynamically based on user-selected date ranges
• Simplified query types by removing intermediate InfraMonitoringData and InfraMonitoringVariables types
• Interval is now computed in the component (defaults to 1d, switches to 1h for date ranges ≤48 hours) rather than hardcoded in the query layer
• All queries now use the unified multi-attribute endpoint with explicit parameter passing
* fix: handle single-attribute response format
