+8 e273d2b818 chore(studio): move Explorer SQL Editor link to sidebar footer (#50829)
## What

- Moves the temporary "Switch to SQL Editor" button out of the Explorer
sidebar header into a footer section ("Looking for snippets?") with a
short explanation and an **Open SQL Editor** button.
- Replaces the header slot with a menu for the Explorer startup
preference (**Start page** / **SQL query**), instead of linking out to
account preferences.

## How to test

1. Enable the Explorer feature preview and open
`/project/<ref>/explorer`.
2. **Header menu:** click the ⋮ button next to the Explorer title. Pick
**SQL query**, then check that **Explorer startup** on `/account/me`
shows the same value (and vice versa).
3. **Footer:** click **Open SQL Editor**. You should land in the SQL
Editor with the **Back to Explorer** button in its title bar.
4. Open **Notebooks** or **Chats** in the sidebar and check that the
menu and footer are hidden there, like the old button was.

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **New Features**
* Choose whether the Explorer opens to the Start page or SQL query from
the Explorer preferences menu. Your selection is saved and retained when
you reopen the menu.
  * Access the SQL Editor from the Explorer’s sidebar footer.
* Explorer preferences are available from the Explorer navigation
header.

## Context

Sets up the Explorer behind the feature preview modal + removes the
temporary entry point from the SQL Editor
Changes are still not live on production, so will only affect local +

Jordi EnricandFrancesco Sansalvadore 509d80c9eb feat(studio): CLI deploy instructions for workers (FE-4191) (#49194)
## What

The surface that shows you how to deploy a worker from the CLI, plus the
product rename and the alpha framing.

- **Compute → Workers.** `PRODUCT_NAME` and `CLI_NAME` now say `Workers`
/ `workers`, so the sidebar, page title, command menu, and every
generated snippet match the CLI. One name, not two.
- **`DeployWorkerDialog`** — scaffold / configure / push, with copyable
`supabase workers` and `config.toml` snippets
- **`WorkersEmptyState`** — an `EmptyStatePresentational` with a
permission-gated deploy action
- **`AlphaNotice`** on the list page, and a **New** badge on the sidebar
entry (`Route.isNew`)
- **`WorkerSnippetTabs`** — CLI, `config.toml`, and curl/JS/Python calls
built from one worker shape. Reused by #49195.

Snippet URLs resolve from the project's `app_config.endpoint`
(`https://<project>/workers/v1/<name>`, the same shape as
`/functions/v1/`), and fall back to `[YOUR WORKER URL]` before settings
load rather than printing a wrong host.

## How to test

Only on the **Mockamaster** project in staging — it is the one project
in the alpha allow-list.

1. Staging dashboard → Mockamaster → **Workers** (the sidebar entry
carries a **New** badge)
2. **Deploy a worker** → step through the tabs; every snippet should
name the real worker URL, not a placeholder
3. Copy the cURL snippet and run it: expect `401`. Reaching a deployed
worker needs a second allow-list (`WORKERS_ALLOWED_PROJECTS` in
api-gateway `customer-router/wrangler.toml`), separate from the flag
that unlocks the dashboard.
4. Open a project with no workers to see the empty state

## Tests

`workerSnippets.test.ts` covers the generated output users copy: worker
URL in all three call snippets, the `[YOUR WORKER URL]` fallback, anon
vs service-role placeholder, empty-name fallback and trimming, runtime
default, and every `config.toml` field.

## Unverified copy

The dialog steps and the `supabase workers ` subcommands come from
the original POC spec, not from the shipped CLI. Same for "Dockerfile,
Node.js and Deno supported" in the empty state — only Deno is confirmed
end to end. Worth a check by someone who knows the CLI surface.

Closes FE-4191

Jordi Enric 6c6ac567b1 feat(studio): workers list behind the workers flag (FE-4188) (#49193)
## What

The Workers list page at `/project/[ref]/workers`, behind
`useFlag('workers')`. Reads `GET /v2/projects/{ref}/workers`.

- Sidebar and command-menu entries, both hidden when the flag is off
- Name search, state and access filters, pagination
- Read-only

Gating, in order: flag off redirects to the project home; a 404 from the
API means the project is outside the alpha allow-list ("not enabled for
this project"); a 403 means the caller lacks the permission
(`NoPermission`); anything else is an `AlertError`.

`parseWorker` in `data/workers/workers.utils.ts` is the only place the
API shape becomes the view model. It validates with zod, so a drifted
response fails the query instead of half-rendering a row.

## How to test

Only on the **Mockamaster** project in staging — it is the one project
in the alpha allow-list, and standing a worker up anywhere else is
involved right now.

1. Staging dashboard → Mockamaster → **Compute** in the sidebar
2. Expect the `dashboard-test` worker: state `Active`, runtime Deno,
private, US West, 2 GB · 1 vCPU · 1 inst
3. Open any other project's `/workers` URL → "Compute is not enabled for
this project"
4. Turn the `workers` flag off → the sidebar entry disappears and the
URL redirects to the project home

Danny WhiteandJoshen Lim b82dec4ef1 fix(studio): polish advisor attention indicator quirks (#47714)
## I have read the
[CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md)
file.

YES

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Bug fix / UI polish.

## What is the current behavior?

- The Advisors sidebar attention dot drifts 1–2px sideways on
hover-expand, because its `left` offset was tied to the expanded state
while the nav icon only shifts when the sidebar is persistently open.
- When the Advisor Center header button is selected while in a critical
state, it keeps a destructive outline instead of matching the other
header circles (`bg-foreground`).

## What is the new behavior?

- Sidebar attention dot offset follows the same condition as nav icon
padding (persistently open), so it no longer drifts on hover-expand.
- Selected Advisor Center button matches the other header circles
(foreground fill, no destructive outline). Critical idle styling is
unchanged aside from a destructive hover border. The critical dot is
slightly lighter when selected in light mode so it still contrasts on
the inverted fill.

## Additional context

Earlier commits on this branch experimented with a shared
`useAdvisorAttention` hook to sync the sidebar and header indicators.
That was dropped: the sidebar Advisors route goes to project
security/performance pages, while the header opens Advisor Center
(including org notifications). Those surfaces should not share one
attention definition — thanks Joshen for catching that.

Gildas Garcia 2ec8e3b135 fix: ensure sidebar has valid html (#47826)
## Problem

The sidebar in both org or project pages has invalid html, preventing
screen reader users to understand them.
See https://dequeuniversity.com/rules/axe/4.12/list

Besides, we were using some shadcn components incorrectly (groups inside
menus when it should be the other way around)

## Solution

- Invert group/menu relation so that we don't have `div` inside `ul`
- No visual changes
- No functional changes

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **Style**
* Improved sidebar navigation by splitting routes into clearer sections
(Home/Tools, Products, Other routes, and Settings).
* Updated the advisors link so its active indicator renders directly
within the navigation item, while keeping the existing
disabled/error/warning behavior.
* Adjusted organization navigation layout for more consistent spacing
and alignment. Animations remain smooth.

Gildas GarciaandIvan Vasilov 96d43099bb chore: refactor Button API so that it can be used a standard button (#46880)
## Problem

Our `<Button>` component breaks the default `button` contract by
redefining the `type` prop to set its variant (`primary`, `default`,
etc) instead of the button type (`submit`, `button`, etc).
This is confusing and forces to write more code when using it with
shadcn components that expect/inject the standard button props.

## Solution

- rename the `type` prop to `variant`
- rename the `htmlType` prop to `type`
- propagate the changes where necessary
- format code

## How to test

As this is just prop renaming, if it builds it's ok

Gildas Garcia 5b46264cdb fix: avoid showing navigation item as disabled while loading (#46942)
## Problem

On pages that needs to check conditions for which data is loaded
asynchronously, the navigation links in the sidebar appear disabled for
a split second:
<img width="1394" height="1636" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/0681966d-676d-4c8c-8bd4-852dcf93ddb7"
/>

## Solution

Check whether the required data is loading and override the styles so
that the links are still disabled to avoid errors but appear as normal.

## How to test

- Open the project setting page
- Check the styles of the sidebar items carefully while it load (might
require to refresh a few times to be sure)

YES

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Improving accessibility for icon-only buttons

## What is the current behavior?

Icon-only buttons do not have explicit accessible names for screen
readers.

## What is the new behavior?

All icon-only buttons now have explicit accessible names using visually
hidden text (sr-only), ensuring proper screen reader support.

## Additional context

Tooltip text is preserved for visual users.
No visual changes were introduced.

Ivan VasilovandJordi Enric 56de26fe22 chore: Migrate the monorepo to use Tailwind v4 (#45318)
This PR migrates the whole monorepo to use Tailwind v4:
- Removed `@tailwindcss/container-queries` plugin since it's included by
default in v4,
- Bump all instances of Tailwind to v4. Made minimal changes to the
shared config to remove non-supported features (`alpha` mentions),
- Migrate all apps to be compatible with v4 configs,
- Fix the `typography.css` import in 3 apps,
- Add missing rules which were included by default in v3,
- Run `pnpm dlx @tailwindcss/upgrade` on all apps, which renames a lot
of classes
- Rename all misnamed classes according to
https://tailwindcss.com/docs/upgrade-guide#renamed-utilities in all
apps.

Alaister YoungandAlaister Young 5f6060197e [COM-205] feat(studio): add logs:all flag to hide all logs (#45202)
Adds a top-level `logs:all` flag (default `true`) so self-hosted and
local setups can hide the logs pages in Studio when Logflare isn't
configured — no separate Studio build required. The flag itself works
everywhere; the additional `ENABLED_FEATURES_LOGS_ALL` env-var override
(from FE-3036) is the self-hosted escape hatch so deployers can flip it
without a custom build — that part is a no-op on `IS_PLATFORM` because
hosted feature gating flows through `profile.disabled_features` instead.

Addresses
[COM-205](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/COM-205/add-feature-flag-to-disable-all-logs-in-studio).

**Added:**
- `logs:all` feature flag in `enabled-features.json` + schema

**Changed:**
- Sidebar "Logs" nav entry is hidden when `logs:all` is off (same
pattern as `reports:all` / `billing:all`)
- Cmd-K "Logs Explorer" / "Auth Logs" / etc. routes are hidden when the
flag is off
- `LogsLayout` renders `<UnknownInterface />` (soft-404) when the flag
is off — covers all ~18 logs pages in one spot
- `/logs/index.tsx` applies the same soft-404 for the unified-logs entry
point

## To test

Needs to be tested locally (preview doesn't let you flip the flag —
hosted gating is profile-driven, not env-driven). Two ways:
- Temporarily edit `"logs:all": false` in
`packages/common/enabled-features/enabled-features.json` and run `pnpm
dev:studio`, or
- Run Studio locally with `ENABLED_FEATURES_LOGS_ALL=false` (env-var
path, same as how self-hosted deployers would use it)

With the flag **off**:
- Sidebar "Logs" entry is hidden
- Cmd-K search for "Logs" / "Auth Logs" / "Postgres Logs" etc. returns
nothing
- Direct navigation to `/project/<ref>/logs`,
`/project/<ref>/logs/explorer`, `/project/<ref>/logs/auth-logs`,
`/project/<ref>/logs/postgres-logs` (etc.) all render the "Looking for
something?" soft-404 with a Head back button

With the flag **on** (default): everything works as it does today.
**Check on the preview deploy too** — nothing should change, no
behaviour difference on hosted.

Ali Waseem 28a2c25e0e feat(studio): add navigation shortcuts with hover tooltips (#45127)
## Summary
- Adds `<Shortcut>` component: binds a registered shortcut + renders a
Linear-style hover tooltip (label + keybind pills) in one declaration
- Adds `<ShortcutTooltip>` as the lower-level primitive for cases where
binding lives elsewhere
- Registers 13 G-chord navigation shortcuts (`G H` / `G T` / `G S` / `G
D` / `G A` / `G B` / `G F` / `G R` / `G V` / `G O` / `G L` / `G I` / `G
,`)
- Wires shortcuts into `SideBarNavLink` — binding + dynamic-delay
tooltip (0ms collapsed, 1000ms expanded) replaces the old label-only
collapsed tooltip

Closes
[FE-3048](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/FE-3048/create-navigation-shortcuts).

## Test plan
- [x] Hover each main sidebar nav item with sidebar expanded — tooltip
appears after delay with label + shortcut pills
- [x] Collapse sidebar — tooltip appears instantly on hover
- [x] Press `G` then a registered letter anywhere outside text inputs —
navigates to that screen
- [x] Press `G` inside a text input — no navigation fires
- [x] Disabled nav items (project inactive) — no shortcut fires, no
tooltip anomaly
- [x] Feature-gated routes (auth/storage/realtime off) — shortcut is
gone with the route

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **New Features**
* Global keyboard shortcuts added for navigating major app sections
(home, editors, database, auth, storage, functions, realtime, advisors,
observability, logs, integrations, settings).
* Navigation items display their keybinds in hover tooltips and can be
triggered via those shortcuts.
* Tooltip timing adapts to sidebar state (immediate when collapsed,
delayed when expanded).
* Shortcut-aware tooltip display now shows multi-step key sequences
clearly.

Danny White fc7667462d chore(studio): nits (#43683)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

UI nit changes

## What is the current behavior?

- We use big dots `•` to separate semantically different sets of text
that are in the same row
  - This looks a bit odd given how large the dot is to text
- We put _Project Settings_ in its own sidebar section but without a
separator like all other sidebar sections

## What is the new behavior?

- Use the smaller dots `·` to separate text
- Place a separator above _Project Settings_ in sidebar

Joshen Lim 0b97e0ff86 Joshen/fe 2642 project settings allow to select a replica to power (#43626)
## Context

Related to dashboard scalability
Previous PR: https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/42856

Note: Changes are all feature flagged still and I'm still not entirely
convinced with the current UX
Will iterate as as go along, and only make this publicly available when
we're satisfied with the behaviour

Adds a "Dashboard preference" section to the project settings

/>

In which users can then select which database they'd like to use for
read queries run from the dashboard
Note: Everything is local storage for now, but we'd need middleware
support if we want to make this setting persist for all users on the
project

- Choosing a replica in dashboard preferences will only affect the table
editor as thats the only place that's set up so far to use a replica for
read queries (I'll need to follow up for other parts of the dashboard in
subsequent PRs)

Danny White df55c5c327 feat(studio): platform webhooks scaffolding (#43276)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Impending feature addition. Resolves DEPR-340.

## What is the current behavior?

We don’t have any platform webhook support.

## What is the new behavior?

This puts the scaffolding for platform webhooks **behind a feature
flag**. The content is currently UI-only (with mock data and a
[temporary tracking
file](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/8adadc61f57c70b686a0f5f05e9f7f05837e0466/apps/studio/components/interfaces/Platform/Webhooks/DEPR-340-backend-integration-tracker.md)).

Merging this in lets us work incrementally from here on.

Danny White 706207436f chore(studio): move organization settings nav to sidebar layout (#43228)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

UI change

## What is the current behavior?

Organization settings are currently spread across a NavMenu. This is
getting unweildy as the amount of children within Organization settings
grows.

## What is the new behavior?

Organization settings are now on a sidebar, just like Project Settings
and most other surfaces.

VaibhavandGildas Garcia b4cb20066f fix(studio): prevent sidebar text overlap on project cards (#42381)
## Problem
When hovering over the sidebar on the projects page, project card text
(names, regions, status) was rendering on top of the expanded sidebar,
making both the sidebar and project information difficult to read.

## Solution
Increased sidebar z-index from `z-10` to `z-50` to ensure the sidebar
renders above all project card content.

Joshen Lim 42f1344303 Ensure logs pages are accessible irregardless of project's status (#43010)
## Context

Ensure that project's logs pages are accessible irregardless of
project's status, given that logs are mutually exclusive from the
project's database and doesn't require the database to be online for it
to be functional.

## Other changes
Mainly around simplifying some logic within ProjectLayout
- Remove `disabled` prop in `SideBarNavLink` component, given that
`route` prop already has a `disabled` param
- Define `disabled` within `NavigationBar.utils.tsx` -> just have one
place to define the "configuration" of a route
- Minimize manually declaring specific routes to render specific UI (for
Restore failed)
  - All of these can be grouped under `routesToIgnoreDBConnection`

## To test
- [ ] Verify that you can access the logs page while the project is
coming up
- [ ] Verify that you can access the logs page on a paused project (and
also use it)

Jonathan Summers-MuirandJoshen Lim 41a5c39305 Feat/logs preview (#37230)
* Add unified logs feature preview and toggle controls

Introduces a unified logs feature preview, allowing users to enable or disable a new logs interface with enhanced filtering and real-time updates. Adds context hooks, UI components (UnifiedLogsPreview, LogsSwitchBox), and conditional logic to display the new interface or revert to the old one. Updates routing and feature preview modal to support the unified logs preview, and extends local storage keys for feature flag management.

* Refactor log UI components and remove LogsSwitchBox

Replaced custom SVG icons with Lucide React icons in LogsSidebarMenuV2 and FilterSideBar for consistency and maintainability. Removed the unused LogsSwitchBox component and cleaned up related imports in FeaturePreviewModal.

* Refactor sidebar panels to use FeaturePreviewSidebarPanel

Introduces a reusable FeaturePreviewSidebarPanel component and replaces InnerSideBarEmptyPanel usages in LogsSidebarMenuV2 and FilterSideBar. Removes unified logs feature flag logic from Sidebar and NavigationBar.utils, simplifying route generation and UI logic.

* Refine sidebar panel styles and remove unused icon

Removed the unused Sparkles icon import from LogsSidebarMenuV2. Updated FeaturePreviewSidebarPanel to use 'bg-muted/10' for background, simplified class names for text alignment, and cleaned up redundant text-left classes for improved styling consistency.

* Update FeaturePreviewModal.tsx

* Update FeaturePreview.constants.tsx
