fix(studio): forward HA flag to project-creation pre-flight checks (#50902)
## Summary - Fixes MUL-1678: toggling High Availability on in the project-creation wizard 400'd for orgs that are HA-entitled but not enrolled in the "V3 rollout ramp" feature flag on the backend, because two pre-flight endpoints Studio calls before project creation didn't know about HA and hit the ramp check the real create-project call already bypasses. - Threads `highAvailability` through `useOrganizationAvailableRegionsQuery` (`GET /platform/projects/available-regions`, sent as `high_availability=true|false` on the query string) and `useProjectCreationPostgresVersionsQuery` / `useAvailableOrioleImageVersion` (`POST /platform/organizations/:slug/available-versions`, sent as `high_availability` in the body), including their query-key cache keys so HA and non-HA responses for the same org/provider/size don't collide. - Wires the (already form-tracked) `highAvailability` value into every call site: `ProjectCreationForm.tsx`, `RegionSelector.tsx`, and a new `highAvailability` prop on `PostgresVersionSelector.tsx` passed from `InternalOnlyConfiguration.tsx`. ## Problem The project-creation wizard's HA toggle is wired into the actual project-create request, but two pre-flight calls Studio makes before that (available regions, available Postgres versions) had no way to signal HA, so the backend's ramp-flag gate rejected them for HA-entitled orgs outside the ramp. ## Solution Add an optional `highAvailability` field end-to-end on the Studio side: query hook variables, cache keys, request serialization, and the components that already track the toggle via `useWatch`. <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **Bug Fixes** * Available regions and database versions in project creation now reflect the selected high-availability setting. * The Create button remains disabled while available regions are loading. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> --------- Signed-off-by: GuptaManan100 <guptamanan100@gmail.com> Co-authored-by: Joshen Lim <joshenlimek@gmail.com> |

feat(project-creation): support Kubernetes cluster override for internal project creation (#49956)
## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Feature, internal ## What is the current behavior? When creating a project, the worker will use load balancing to decide where to deploy a cluster. ## What is the new behavior? An internal user can choose a specific cluster and even bypass the CORDONED state by forcing deployment. ## Additional context This PR adds kubernetesClusterId and kubernetesClusterForce to the internal-only project creation form for K8S cloud providers, gated by schema validation (provider-restricted; force requires an ID) and cleared automatically on provider change. The override is a one-time creation-time steer, not a persistent pin, and the UI copy reflects that. Includes the matching kubernetes_cluster_id/kubernetes_cluster_force request fields in the generated platform API types. <img width="1620" height="1352" alt="image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/bd8965a1-cec8-4428-aac1-46d0bf3b89d3" /> <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **New Features** * Added Kubernetes cluster ID entry during project creation for supported cloud providers. * Added an option to force deployment to a specified cluster. * Clarified that eligible clusters must meet status and filesystem requirements. * **Bug Fixes** * Prevented invalid or outdated Kubernetes settings from being submitted when the provider or cluster selection changes. * Treated blank or whitespace-only cluster IDs as unset. * Prevented force-deployment requests without a cluster ID or for unsupported providers. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

Add high availability project creation controls (#48375)
## Summary - Move High Availability into the standard project creation settings above Compute, gated by the `instances.high_availability` entitlement. - Mark the option as Alpha and explain that it is free during Alpha for up to two projects. - Enforce the supported HA configuration: `AWS_K8S`, Postgres 17 on the `ga` release channel (no custom version is sent — the API resolves the image), and the environment-specific local/staging region restrictions. - Show eligible locations in a dedicated **High Availability Regions** group. - Preserve the existing Advanced Configuration availability rules and additionally hide the section while HA is enabled. - Restore the previous provider and Postgres settings when HA is switched off. ## How to test 1. Go to create a new project 2. Ensure you have access to high availability (e.g. on local) 3. Toggle high availability on and note how the project form restricts settings listed above <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **New Features** * Added High Availability to project creation with Alpha warning labeling and improved switch accessibility. * Constrains region selection to compatible High Availability regions and enforces HA-specific engine/release settings. * Disables/hides custom PostgreSQL version selection when High Availability is enabled (and omits HA custom request payloads). * **Bug Fixes** * Improved persistence of selected PostgreSQL version and region across data reloads and configuration panel reopen/toggle. * Restores region when form state temporarily drops values during remounts. * **Tests** * Expanded end-to-end coverage for HA UI, region grouping, and submit/payload restoration behavior. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> --------- Co-authored-by: Alaister Young <10985857+alaister@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: Joshen Lim <joshenlimek@gmail.com> |

fix: make high availability in project creation form public (#48338)
Move "High availability" from internal-only to public. Closes MUL-668. ## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Bug fix ## What is the current behavior? "High availability" is an internal-only config <img width="724" height="1126" alt="Screenshot 2026-07-26 at 8 15 57 PM" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/83e1856b-9020-4b65-a019-27e3cc29bae9" /> ## What is the new behavior? "High availability" is a public user-facing config <img width="724" height="1036" alt="Screenshot 2026-07-26 at 8 15 31 PM" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/4f369058-ce91-4bcf-bd3c-120277363b1a" /> Still hidden without the org entitlement, i.e. currently not available anywhere on prod <img width="724" height="931" alt="Screenshot 2026-07-26 at 8 18 58 PM" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/3e1deb76-210c-416b-b716-45ff6e3b0afd" /> <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **New Features** * Added a High availability option directly to the project creation form. * The option is shown when available for the account and hidden when unavailable. * Enabling High availability automatically selects AWS as the cloud provider. * **Bug Fixes** * Corrected validation for incompatible High availability and OrioleDB selections. * **Tests** * Added coverage for High availability visibility, eligibility, and form submission behavior. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

chore(studio): polish vercel deploy-button new project interstitial (#48113)
## I have read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) file. YES ## What kind of change does this PR introduce? Studio UI polish for the Vercel deploy-button new-project connect flow (DEPR-616 follow-up). ## What is the current behavior? - Deploy-button project creation still used `VercelIntegrationWindowLayout` (top bar + Docs/Support footer) while install and choose-project already use shared `InterstitialLayout` - The remove-integration note sat as a floating admonition above the form - Advanced / internal-only config sections could show double dividers, and the Oriole radio bottom border could clip inside the collapsible ## What is the new behavior? - Deploy-button new-project uses `InterstitialLayout` with `VercelIntegrationLogo` and `VercelIntegrationFooter`, matching the other Vercel connect surfaces - Regular `/new` project creation is unchanged; Panel chrome is only flattened when `isVercelIntegrationFlow` is set - Removes unused `VercelIntegrationWindowLayout` / `IntegrationWindowLayout` - Fixes Advanced/Internal-only dividers and collapsible border clipping | Before | After | | --- | --- | | <img width="965" height="1107" alt="Supabase" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/99c1225c-c9e5-4fac-bd64-17920403e447" /> | <img width="965" height="1107" alt="Create Vercel Project Supabase" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/c42bff96-5f9f-4c8b-8f3c-093e380f90ed" /> | ## Additional context ### Testing With Studio running locally and while signed in: 1. Open `http://localhost:8082/integrations/vercel/<your-org-slug>/deploy-button/new-project` 2. Confirm the interstitial card: Vercel + Supabase logo pair, “Create a new project” title, form fields, and the muted remove-integration footer under the card 3. Confirm there is no old window chrome (no “Marketplace Connector” / “Deploy Button” top bar, no Docs/Support footer) 4. Optionally submit and confirm project creation still works 5. Spot-check `/new` to confirm the normal project creation form is unchanged If you have advanced config enabled, expand Advanced Configuration and confirm single dividers (not doubles) and that the Oriole option’s bottom border is not clipped. <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **New Features** * Added configurable width to the shared interstitial layout for Vercel project creation. * Updated the Vercel “new project” flow to use the interstitial UI. * **Bug Fixes** * Prevented child borders/shadows from being clipped in expandable configuration sections. * **Refactor** * Removed legacy Vercel/window layout components and updated routing to rely on the interstitial flow. * Switched advanced and internal-only configuration sections to render inside panel content. * **Documentation** * Refreshed Vercel integration route guidance in the migration checklist and inline route comments. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> --------- Co-authored-by: Joshen Lim <joshenlimek@gmail.com> |

feat(ui-patterns): add CollapsibleCardSection component (#46250)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce? New shared component + docs. ## What is the current behavior? `AdvancedConfiguration` and `InternalOnlyConfiguration` in the New Project form each contain bespoke `<Collapsible>` markup. There's no reusable collapsible section component available to other card/panel forms. ## What is the new behavior? - Extracts a shared `CollapsibleCardSection` into `packages/ui-patterns`, exported via `ui-patterns/CollapsibleCardSection` - Refactors `AdvancedConfiguration` and `InternalOnlyConfiguration` to use it - Adds design system docs with a live demo at `/docs/fragments/collapsible-card-section` This is a prereq for #45707 and #46187, which both consume this component. | Example Usage | | --- | | <img width="1464" height="500" alt="CleanShot 2026-05-22 at 15 20 38@2x" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/5b88ef8d-3f9a-4454-b246-5bbaf53e027a" /> | ## To test - [ ] Check that [the Design System page](https://design-system-git-dnywh-collapsible-card-section-supabase.vercel.app/design-system/docs/fragments/collapsible-card-section) makes sense - [ ] Check that the [new project form](https://studio-staging-git-dnywh-collapsible-card-section-supabase.vercel.app/dashboard/new/) collapsible sections work as expected <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit ## Release Notes * **New Features** * Introduced CollapsibleCardSection component as a reusable UI pattern for collapsible card-based content with customizable title, description, and open state. * Refactored project configuration interfaces to use the new component for improved visual consistency. * **Documentation** * Added comprehensive documentation with interactive examples and multiple usage patterns for CollapsibleCardSection. <!-- review_stack_entry_start --> [](https://app.coderabbit.ai/change-stack/supabase/supabase/pull/46250?utm_source=github_walkthrough&utm_medium=github&utm_campaign=change_stack) <!-- review_stack_entry_end --> <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> --------- Co-authored-by: Claude Sonnet 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: Joshen Lim <joshenlimek@gmail.com> |

chore: remove shadcn suffix for Input, Textarea, Alert and Collapsible (#45867)
## Problem Now that we migrated old components to their new shadcn alternatives, we don't need the `_Shadcn_` suffix anymore. ## Solution Remove it <img width="659" height="609" alt="image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/2d7271a9-066a-4dcc-92fe-729b106d2c2f" /> |

Shift internal only fields on new project form into a collapsible (#45873)
## Context Changes here aren't public facing - we're just shifting some internal only fields on the new project page to consolidate them into the "internal-only" collapsible Mainly to improve clarity from our POV RE what fields do users see and the general look of the new project form <img width="727" height="558" alt="image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/7d8f2915-3a81-4d9d-a067-cd45c1725726" /> So everything that's not within the collapsible are essentially fields that users will see on prod. The changes here also subsequently deprecates the use of 2 feature flags on the new project page: - `showPostgresVersionSelector` -> replaced by new flag `newProjectInternalOnlyConfiguration` - `enableFlyCloudProvider` -> was used to control the visibility of the cloud provider field, now replaced by `newProjectInternalOnlyConfiguration` <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **Refactor** * Reorganized project creation form layout and field ordering for improved structure. * Updated project resume flow with refined confirmation modal UI. * Simplified cloud provider selection interface. * Streamlined high-availability configuration presentation. <!-- review_stack_entry_start --> [](https://app.coderabbit.ai/change-stack/supabase/supabase/pull/45873) <!-- review_stack_entry_end --> <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

chore: migrate <Collapsible> to shadcn <Collapsible> (#45819)
## Problem We have multiple `Collapsible` components. ## Solution Reduce their number by using only the one from shadcn. I haven't noticed any visual nor functional changes. <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **Refactor** * Migrated expandable/collapsible UI to a unified shadcn-based implementation for more consistent expand/collapse behavior across the app. * **Style** * Updated listbox check icon sizing and removed obsolete collapsible open/close animations. * **Chores** * Removed deprecated collapsible variants and consolidated UI component surface for simpler maintenance. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> |

chore(studio): add custom instance type input to project creation GENCOMP-76 (#45660)
## Summary - Adds a "Custom instance type" input on the new-project modal, rendered directly below the existing custom Postgres version field and gated behind the same non-prod check. - Wires the value through `custom_supabase_internal_requests.ami.instance_type`, merged with the existing AMI search-tag payload so both can be set independently. <img width="312" height="133" alt="Screenshot 2026-05-07 at 12 32 41 PM" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/d4190a0f-0a54-46e6-ac0b-967548a3903f" /> ## Test plan - [x] On a non-prod build, open the new-project modal and confirm the "Custom instance type" field appears below "Custom Postgres version". - [ ] Submit with only an instance type set and verify the request body includes `custom_supabase_internal_requests.instance_type` and no `ami` block. - [x] Submit with both fields set and verify both `ami.search_tags` and `instance_type` are sent. - [x] Submit with neither set and verify `custom_supabase_internal_requests` is omitted. - [x] Verify the field is hidden in prod builds. 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) <!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> ## Summary by CodeRabbit * **New Features** * Added instance type field to project-creation wizard. * Added an internal-only configuration panel for advanced customization. * **Refactor** * Simplified Advanced Configuration panel layout and behavior. * **Documentation** * Updated documentation links to use internal reference URLs. <!-- end of auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai --> --------- Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: Joshen Lim <joshenlimek@gmail.com> |
