## Context
Reverts copy changes from the following PRs:
- Docs: https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/42184
- FE: https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/47646
Our platform's disk management configuration limitation still follows
the 4 hour cooldown at the moment, doesn't align with AWS's 4 changes in
24 hours rule just yet. This is just to prevent any confusion for now,
and we'll need to update the copy again once behaviour matches AWS on
our BE

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Updates**
* Disk changes are now subject to an approximately four-hour cooldown
after each modification, replacing the previous limit of four changes in
a rolling 24-hour period.
* Disk management screens now show the cooldown status, remaining wait
time, and next available update time.
* Updated platform guides and troubleshooting instructions to reflect
the cooldown and explain available recovery options.

Makes the compute-size configuration on Settings → Infrastructure
read-only for High Availability (Multigres) projects during Alpha — HA
projects run on a single fixed compute size and resizing isn't supported
yet (previously attempting one could leave a project stuck Resizing).
Gated on `project.high_availability` via the existing
`useHighAvailability()` hook — the same signal every other HA gate in
Studio uses.
**Changed:**
- Compute size options other than the project's current size render with
the existing locked treatment (greyed out, lock icon, tooltip) for HA
projects, and the whole radio group is disabled
- A `HighAvailabilityDisabledSectionNotice` in the Compute section
explains that HA projects run on a fixed compute size during Alpha
- The compute branch of `onSubmit` and the read-replica
compute-recommendation handoff are skipped for HA projects, so a compute
change can never reach `POST /billing/addons`
- The "Contact Us" larger-sizes card is hidden for HA projects
- Form initialization now also fires once the project loads for HA
projects (disk-attribute queries never run on their cloud provider, so
the existing reset effect never fired and the picker showed the
`ci_micro` fallback as selected)
**Added:**
- Two MSW page tests in the Infrastructure suite covering the HA
read-only state and the unchanged editable state for non-HA projects
## To test
- On an HA (Multigres) project: Settings → Infrastructure should show a
notice under Compute size, the project's current size selected, every
other size locked with a tooltip, no "Contact Us" card, and clicking any
option should never surface the "Review changes" bar
- On a regular project: compute selection, "Review changes" → "Confirm
changes", and the Contact Us card all behave as before
- `pnpm vitest run
"tests/pages/project/[ref]/settings/infrastructure.test.tsx"`

## Additional context
[#49043](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/49043) is merged.
This PR targets `master`.
Please review, but do not merge. `infrastructure:read_replicas` is
already on, so merging this alone would show replicas on both
Infrastructure and Replication. Merge 2→5
([#49045](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/49045),
[#49046](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/49046),
[#48921](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/48921)) in succession
once they are all reviewed.
Replica detail still uses the old Replication URL until #49045.
## To test
`infrastructure:read_replicas` is an enabled-feature, on by default in
`enabled-features.json`. There is no Feature Preview or ConfigCat
switch. On this preview you should already see it: Settings →
Infrastructure shows topology and a Read replicas section. If those are
missing, your profile lists `infrastructure:read_replicas` in
`disabled_features` (from `/platform/profile`), and you cannot flip it
in the UI.
Open [Settings /
Infrastructure](https://studio-staging-git-danny-pipe-1007-02-infra-section-supabase.vercel.app/dashboard/project/_/settings/infrastructure).
Confirm the topology, Read replicas section, and Add read replica sheet.
Replication should still list replicas too.

## Summary
This is the second step towards merging compute and disk with
infrastructure. There are some usage charts on the current
infrastructure page that are useful to have in the context of compute
and disk settings. This branch adds two charts which give a general
sense of usage and whether an upgrade needs to happen. Other data points
in infrastructure can be found within observability and organisation
usage.
- Adds rolling seven-day Compute and Disk charts to the existing Compute
and Disk page.
- Shows CPU, memory, optional burstable disk IO, and disk usage split
into database, WAL, and system data.
- Covers loading, error, empty, warning, and critical states, retaining
the 75% warning and 90% critical thresholds.
- Uses a dedicated PageSection and keeps the charts in two columns from
680px.
- Uses the concise primary labels Compute and Disk, removes the database
report link, and removes tooltip icons from secondary metrics.
- Adds transformation, summary, and component tests covering dedicated
IO behavior, legacy anchors, responsive layout, rolling refetch, and
tooltip behavior.
## Stack
1. #48368
2. #48369 (this PR)
3. #48370
## How to test
1. Check out `chore/infra-compute-2-charts` and start Studio with `pnpm
dev:studio`.
2. Open `/project/<ref>/settings/compute-and-disk` on a project with
recent metrics.
3. Confirm the charts are in their own page section with standard
spacing below the page header.
4. Confirm the Compute chart shows CPU and memory, plus disk IO when
applicable, and the Disk chart splits usage into database, WAL, and
system data.
5. Confirm the primary labels are Compute and Disk, secondary metrics do
not show tooltip icons, and there is no Database Observability/report
link.
6. Resize across 680px. The charts should remain in two columns at and
above the breakpoint and stack into two rows below it.
7. Exercise loading, error, empty, warning, and critical responses with
the metrics mocks or response overrides. Confirm warning styling begins
at 75%, critical styling begins at 90%, and an error or empty response
does not break the configuration form.

* Added usage status indicators, peak calculations, tooltips, and a
detailed disk breakdown with placeholders when data is missing.
* Added special handling for dedicated-I/O instances to hide burst-only
disk I/O.
* **Style**
* Simplified the disk space display by removing supplemental explanatory
text.
* **Tests**

## Summary
This is a precursor to unifying "compute and disk" and "infrastructure
pages". First step is just updating the existing compute and disk page
to make use of standard page and form patterns.
- Reorganizes the existing Compute and Disk form into the established
settings layout pattern, with Scaling, Compute, Disk, and Advanced
sections.
- Moves billing deltas to section headers while retaining the sticky
review footer.
- Adds animated notices, validation-error scrolling, and a responsive
compute-size selector (2 columns by default, 3 from 680px, and 4 from
900px).
- Preserves permissions, entitlements, cooldowns, read-only warnings,
replica pricing, GP3 validation, Nano/PITR locks, and the free Micro
upgrade treatment.
- Keeps the redesigned experience on `/settings/compute-and-disk` so it
can be reviewed independently of the route cutover.
## Stack
1. #48368 (this PR)
2. #48369
3. #48370
## How to test
1. Check out `chore/infra-compute-1-config` and start Studio with `pnpm
dev:studio`.
2. Open `/project/<ref>/settings/compute-and-disk`.
3. Confirm the page header and Scaling, Compute, Disk, and Advanced
sections follow the standard settings-page spacing, with the plan notice
directly below the Scaling header.
4. Change the compute size and disk configuration. Confirm billing
deltas appear in the relevant section headers and the sticky review
footer summarizes and applies the pending changes.
5. Enter invalid GP3 IOPS or throughput values and submit. Confirm the
validation message is shown and the first invalid field is scrolled into
view.
6. Exercise representative project states: insufficient permissions,
read-only mode, resize cooldown, Nano with PITR, a project with read
replicas, and a free Micro upgrade. Confirm the existing locks,
warnings, pricing, and upgrade treatment remain intact.
7. Resize the viewport and confirm the compute cards use 2 columns by
default, 3 columns from 680px, and no more than 4 columns from 900px.

- **New Features**
- Reworked the Compute and Disk settings UI into clearer sectioned
pages, including smoother navigation to the first validation error.
- Added a transitional in-form NoticeBar for consistent alert rendering.
- Improved billing change badges to reflect accurate before/after
totals.
- **Bug Fixes**
- Fixed disk IOPS/throughput pricing to include replica-based charges.
- Strengthened disk sizing validation (GP3 limits, legacy/size edge
cases, spend-cap behavior, and provider-specific constraints).
- **Refactor**
- Updated key form field layouts for improved readability.

Follow-up to #48344: collapses the two resolution paths for the
Admonition module into one.
`src/admonition.tsx` was a back-compat shim re-exporting
`src/Admonition/`. Two ways to resolve one module is exactly what
produced the macOS self-import bug fixed in #48344, and the local
typecheck errors that #48374 worked around. This removes the shim and
standardizes on the PascalCase subpath, matching every other export in
the package.
**Changed:**
- Codemodded all 246 `ui-patterns/admonition` imports to
`ui-patterns/Admonition` (240 `.tsx`, 5 `.mdx`, 1 `.ts` across studio,
docs, www, design-system, and lite-studio)
- Pointed the 5 internal `'../admonition'` imports back at the
`'../Admonition'` directory
**Removed:**
- `packages/ui-patterns/src/admonition.tsx`, and its `./admonition`
entry in the exports map (regenerated with `pnpm gen:exports`)
## To test
- `grep -r "ui-patterns/admonition" --include='*.ts*'` → no hits
- `pnpm test:case-hazards` → passes
- `pnpm typecheck` → all 15 tasks green
- `pnpm --filter studio run lint:ratchet` → passes
- `pnpm --filter ui-patterns vitest run src/Admonition` → 11 tests pass
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Bug Fixes**
* Standardized Admonition component imports across the application and
documentation.
* Improved compatibility with case-sensitive environments by using the
canonical component path.
* Removed the legacy Admonition import entry point.

## Summary
Fixes FE-3948: two success toasts were firing after a disk upgrade. Now
the immediate toast is skipped when a disk resize is requested, since
the polling effect already shows a completion toast once the resize is
applied.
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Bug Fixes**
* Improved disk settings update notifications to prevent premature
success messages while configuration changes are still being applied.
* Success confirmation now appears after disk resizing is fully
completed.

Updates the dashboard disk-management copy to match the new AWS EBS
modification limits (already reflected in the docs): from the old fixed
"4-hour cooldown / once every 4 hours" framing to "up to 4 modifications
within a rolling 24-hour window".
This is a copy-only change plus one small logic-constant alignment.
Timer/countdown behavior is unchanged — this only updates wording to
bring the dashboard in line with the docs.
**Changed:**
- `DiskSpaceBar` autoscaling tooltip, `DiskCountdownRadial` card,
`DiskSizeConfiguration` "Importing a lot of data?" alert,
`DiskSizeConfigurationModal` alert title + both countdown branches,
`DiskManagementReviewAndSubmitDialog` IOPS + disk-size row descriptions,
and two code comments — all reworded to the new "4 per rolling 24-hour
window" framing
- `DiskSizeConfigurationModal` countdown now derives from the shared
`COOLDOWN_DURATION` constant (4h) instead of a stale hardcoded `6 * 60`
(6h), so the legacy resize path matches the newer disk-attributes path
## To test
- Open a Pro AWS project → **Settings → Compute and Disk** → hover the
**Autoscaling** pill on the disk bar: tooltip should read "…limited to 4
within a rolling 24-hour window" (no "once every 4 hours")
- Change IOPS only → **Review changes** → IOPS row description shows the
new "rolling 24-hour window… as soon as the previous one completes" copy
- Change disk size → **Review changes** → Disk size row shows "You can
modify disk attributes up to 4 times within a rolling 24-hour window"
(not "For 4 hours after changes…")
- On a non-AWS Pro project → **Database → Settings → Increase disk
size**: modal title reads "Disk modifications are limited to 4 per
rolling 24-hour window"; any "resize again in ~X" countdown is bounded
by 4 hours, not 6
- Sanity: none of the old "4-hour cooldown" / "once every 4 hours"
strings appear anywhere in the disk UI
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Bug Fixes**
* Updated disk resizing messages across the app to reflect a rolling
24-hour limit instead of a fixed 4-hour cooldown.
* Clarified when disk size, IOPS, and throughput changes are available
again, including more accurate next-available timing.
* Improved warning copy in disk configuration and review dialogs so
limit messages are consistent and easier to understand.

## Problem
We now export components under a subpath in ui-patterns to avoid barrel
files as they slow down every tools (from IDE to linters, etc.) and may
also affect bundles our users have to download.
## Solution
- Remove the UI patterns index file
- Fix invalid impors
## Problem
The `NoticeBar` component is flagged as deprecated and should be
replaced by `Admonition`
## Solution
- Refactor `NoticeBar` usages to `Admonition` (no visual changes
detected)
- Delete `NoticeBar`
You can see one easily in _Project Settings/Compute and Disks_ and
opening the _Advanced disk settings_ collapsible section

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **UI Improvements**
* Updated disk management alerts and guidance to use a newer, more
consistent notification style.
* Improved visibility of messages for pending disk changes, permission
limits, AWS availability, and advanced disk requirements.
* Refreshed the compute-size upgrade prompt with the same updated alert
styling.

## Problem
Our `<Button>` component breaks the default `button` contract by
redefining the `type` prop to set its variant (`primary`, `default`,
etc) instead of the button type (`submit`, `button`, etc).
This is confusing and forces to write more code when using it with
shadcn components that expect/inject the standard button props.
## Solution
- rename the `type` prop to `variant`
- rename the `htmlType` prop to `type`
- propagate the changes where necessary
- format code
## How to test
As this is just prop renaming, if it builds it's ok
---------

- Fix gp3 max-IOPS calculation: was `3000 × size`, is slightly more complicated. The old multiplier let Studio accept IOPS values that the platform API would reject.
- Block IOPS/throughput edits when the disk is smaller than the minimum required for custom IOPS (6 GB for gp3). Previously, a throughput-only change on a 2 GB disk would still ship `provisionedIOPS: 3000` in the payload and get rejected with: `Invalid IOPS value for gp3 volume 3000. Minimum is 3000. Max is 500 IOPS per GB or 16,000, whichever is lower.`
- Show a NoticeBar prompting users to grow the disk first, with a one-click button to bump it to the minimum (mirrors the existing "Change to LARGE Compute" pattern).
- Surface the helpful "Larger Disk size required" message for all disk sizes instead of a cryptic "Invalid IOPS value due to invalid disk size" fallback for disks < 8 GB.
## Context
Compute and Disk page: There's an odd scenario whereby down sizing the
compute might involve some validation errors in the advanced settings,
in which case because the advanced settings is in a collapsible and
requires the user to scroll down, there's hence no visual indication of
where the error is until the user opens the advanced settings to see the
inline error.
Am hence opting to open the advanced settings + scroll to it for this
particular scenario, if submitting the form causes a validation issue on
either IOPS, throughput or max disk size field inputs (the rest in this
section do not have validation checks on that afaict and hence wouldn't
be applicable to this scenario)
## To test
Can be tested locally
- Upsize compute to 8XL + change throughput to 750
- Once completed, try to down size to XL and hit "review changes"
- It should be clear from a UX POV if there are any errors
Also added an unrelated nit tidy up for ExitSurveyModal
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Bug Fixes**
* Advanced disk settings now auto-open and scroll into view (with a
brief delay) when validation errors occur for throughput, IOPS, or size,
improving error visibility.
* **User Interface**
* Improved advanced settings panel animation and separators for clearer
visual boundaries.
* Updated project deletion layout for the reason chooser and message
input, providing a more consistent form appearance.

This PR migrates the whole monorepo to use Tailwind v4:
- Removed `@tailwindcss/container-queries` plugin since it's included by
default in v4,
- Bump all instances of Tailwind to v4. Made minimal changes to the
shared config to remove non-supported features (`alpha` mentions),
- Migrate all apps to be compatible with v4 configs,
- Fix the `typography.css` import in 3 apps,
- Add missing rules which were included by default in v3,
- Run `pnpm dlx @tailwindcss/upgrade` on all apps, which renames a lot
of classes
- Rename all misnamed classes according to
https://tailwindcss.com/docs/upgrade-guide#renamed-utilities in all
apps.

## Problem
We used to have a `_Shadcn_` suffix for all the shadcn form components
because we also had `formik` form components.
This is not needed anymore.
## Solution
- Remove the suffix
- Update all usages
Projects that upgrade from free → paid keep their original sub-8 GB disk until the first usage-driven auto-expand fires. During that window, the compute-and-disk settings page is broken in several ways. This PR fixed it.

When downgrading from a larger compute size to <large while having provisioned IOPS or throughput, we would leave the disk as-is, even though the configuration is unsupported and then block any disk changes because the instance size is too small, essentially dead-locking the customer on the disk attributes, unless they bump back up to a higher instance size.
PR addresses multiple issues:
- Automatically reset disk attributes to default when customers downgrade to <large instances
- Do not use the baseline compute IOPS/throughput for the fields, as this leads to accidentally over-provisioning by customers
