## Problem
The current pipeline creation sheet describes destination type with two
disconnected sentences. The enablement callout repeats itself, while
three Pipelines action menus have undersized triggers.
## Solution
Use a complete destination-specific description for each release stage.
Present the Enable Pipelines callout as a note with an action title, a
short explanation, and one button. Clarify the enablement dialog copy
and align the three action-menu triggers with a consistent button width
and hit area.

## Review instructions
1. Open [Database > Pipelines in the Studio
preview](https://studio-staging-git-dnywh-fixpipelines-creation-polish-supabase.vercel.app/dashboard/project/_/database/pipelines),
click **Add pipeline**, and select BigQuery or Snowflake. Confirm the
Type description reads as a complete sentence.
2. On a project where Pipelines is not enabled, open the creation sheet.
Confirm the note has no extra padding or Docs link, then click
**Enable** and check the dialog copy. The list menu's **Enable
Pipelines** action opens the same dialog.
3. Check the action-menu triggers on the Pipelines list, pipeline detail
page, and table row for consistent sizing and click targets.

## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **User Experience**
* Replication setup now displays a loading state while access and
organization details are checked, then shows the appropriate access
request, enablement notice, or destination form.
* Access notices use clearer, responsive messaging with a primary
“Request access” link.
* Enablement messaging now reflects whether your plan includes access,
and the success notification is shorter.
* Destination-type notices now identify the selected type and clarify
that it cannot be changed after creation.

### Context
Just some housekeeping/consolidate refactors. There's a number of places
where we render the same "no result" empty state for tables. So this PR
just consolidates that into a reusable component `TableRowNoResults` to
reduce duplication.
Opting to save this under `components/ui` instead of the `ui` package as
this is more of a derivation of `TableRow` than a primitive
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit
- **UI Improvements**
- Standardized empty search-result messages across database, functions,
storage, and vector bucket tables.
- Search terms now appear consistently when no matching records are
found.
- Added an accessible label to the vector bucket row actions menu.
- Improved the storage explorer loading layout so content expands to use
available vertical space.

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Studio UI and interaction polish. This is the second PR in the Pipelines
review stack and depends on #50251.
## What is the current behaviour?
Pipeline rows require a separate view action, cannot be sorted, and
present lifecycle, lag, and destination terminology inconsistently.
## What is the new behaviour?
Makes rows navigable with link-like mouse and keyboard behaviour, adds
Name and Status sorting, reuses cached status queries, and moves row
actions into the overflow menu. It also clarifies pipeline terminology,
adds Docs and feedback actions, and standardises state, error, lag, and
loading presentation with accessible announcements.

## To test
1. Open `/project/<ref>/database/replication`.
2. Sort by Name and Status, then confirm failed and stopped pipelines
surface first when Status is ascending.
3. Click a row, use Enter or Space, and modifier-click or middle-click
to verify link behaviour.
4. Open the row overflow menu and confirm it does not navigate.
5. Check loading, initial sync, caught up, numeric lag, unavailable lag,
and table-error states where available.
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai

## Summary by CodeRabbit
- **New Features**
- Added sortable pipeline lists with clearer loading, empty, and error
states.
- Pipeline rows now support direct navigation, detail viewing, status
indicators, lag progress, and table error summaries.
- Added initial-sync progress indicators and accessible status
announcements.
- Added documentation and feedback links.
- Improved pipeline version update and enable/disable dialogs.
- **Bug Fixes**
- Prevented right-clicks from triggering navigation.
- Improved unavailable lag and initial-sync handling.
- **Style**
- Standardized replication terminology and confirmation messaging around
pipelines.

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Studio UI polish. This is the first PR in the Pipelines review stack and
targets `master`. Resolves DEPR-674.
## What is the current behaviour?
Replication destinations use generic line icons across the destination
picker, pipelines list, and replication diagram. The existing shared
ClickHouse and Snowflake assets also use older artwork.
## What is the new behaviour?
Adds a reusable `DestinationLogo` treatment and uses it consistently
across Replication surfaces. BigQuery, ClickHouse, DuckLake, and
Snowflake now use their colour brand marks, while destinations without a
dedicated asset retain their existing line icon in the same frame.
The refreshed ClickHouse and Snowflake artwork replaces the canonical
shared assets, so existing consumers such as the Wrappers catalogue
receive the updated marks too.

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Studio data-layer migration.
## What is the current behavior?
Studio loads complete publication details through the original bulk
endpoint and creates publications by executing SQL against the source
database. Publication and source-table data use names where stable table
IDs are available.
## What is the new behavior?
Uses the v2 publication-name, publication-detail, publication mutation,
and source-table endpoints. The existing creation sheet continues to
behave the same, including publishing partition changes through the
parent table by default. Initial-sync selection and Analytics Bucket
associations now consume the selected publication detail. Generated
platform API types and their required nullability updates are included.
The generated Platform contract accounts for roughly 10,000 changed
lines in this PR.
## Dependency
Depends on the v2 source table, table column, and publication endpoints
from
[supabase/platform#37505](https://github.com/supabase/platform/pull/37505),
which are deployed to production.
## To test
1. Open the pipeline creation sheet and select an existing publication.
2. Create a publication with mixed-case schema and table names, then
confirm the table names are shown while stable IDs are submitted.
3. Exercise all four initial-sync policies, including selecting
individual tables.
4. Reopen the publication and table selectors and confirm they refresh
without replacing populated options.
5. Edit and delete a publication.
6. Open an Analytics Bucket associated with a pipeline and confirm its
publication tables resolve correctly.
7. Confirm unlimited WAL retention renders as Unlimited on pipeline
status.
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit
- **New Features**
- Improved replication publication setup with on-demand table loading,
refresh controls, clearer table labels, and streamlined publication
selection.
- Publication creation and updates now use the latest replication API
and table-based configurations.
- Added clearer handling for tables removed from publications, including
stale-selection warnings.
- **Bug Fixes**
- Prevented table selections from carrying over when switching
publications.
- Improved replication status displays when lag or WAL metrics are
unavailable.
- Updated replication deletion and table management for the latest API
behavior.
- **Tests**
- Expanded coverage for publication creation, table selection, stale
tables, loading states, and replication metrics.

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
Feature. Stack 4 of 5 for
[PIPE-1007](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/PIPE-1007/move-read-replicas-out-of-replication-into-infrastructure).
Contributes to PIPE-1008.
## What is the current behavior?
Database / Replication lists, creates, and diagrams read replicas
alongside pipelines.
## What is the new behavior?
Replication is pipelines-only. No replica rows, type, or diagram nodes.
`?destinationType=Read+Replica` redirects to Infrastructure. A short
callout points create-mode users at the new home.
## Additional context
Please review, but do not merge until
[#48921](https://github.com/supabase/supabase/pull/48921) is ready to
follow immediately. The flag is already on, so this PR is the
user-facing cutover off Replication.
## To test
`infrastructure:read_replicas` is an enabled-feature, on by default.
There is no Feature Preview or ConfigCat switch. You should already see
the Infrastructure Read replicas section. If you do not, your profile
lists `infrastructure:read_replicas` in `disabled_features`.
Open [Database /
Replication](https://studio-staging-git-danny-pipe-1007-04-cut-from-77ef95-supabase.vercel.app/dashboard/project/_/database/replication?destinationType=Read+Replica).
You should land on Infrastructure with the add-replica sheet, not a
replica destination type. The Replication page itself should be
pipelines-only.

## What kind of change does this PR introduce?
UI polish for Database → Replication: empty state, page layout, diagram
containment, filter actions, and destination sheet copy.
## What is the current behavior?
- Empty destinations use a custom dashed box with generic copy.
- The diagram is full-bleed with `border-y`.
- Page chrome still uses legacy Scaffold wrappers and a long header
description that duplicates the empty state.
- Filter-row “Add destination” is a default button ahead of secondary
actions; Usage always shows.
- Local ETL warning sits on the page list.
- Destination sheet title/helper/access copy is more verbose; Type
helper sits beside the label.
## What is the new behavior?
- Empty state uses `EmptyStatePresentational` with clearer CTA copy;
toolbar “Add destination” is primary at the end of the filter row;
empty-state CTA stays default.
- Usage only appears when there is at least one Pipelines destination.
- Page uses `PageHeader` / `PageContainer` / `PageSection`, with a short
header: “Read replicas and analytics pipelines”.
- Diagram sits in a rounded bordered frame inside the page container
(same treatment as project overview).
- Local ETL warning shows in the add-destination sheet for Pipelines
types only, without blocking the form; Type + warning scroll with the
sheet body.
- Type helper sits under the dropdown as one flowing paragraph (“Cannot
be changed after creation…” plus shortened stage notice).
- Sheet title is “Add destination”; close only fires on dismiss; Lucide
icons (e.g. Snowflake) use consistent stroke width.

### Test plan
- [x] Open **Database → Replication** with no replicas/destinations:
empty state, primary filter-row Add destination, default empty-state Add
destination, no Usage button.
- [x] Confirm header→diagram and diagram→filter spacing feel even;
filter→empty state/table stays tight (`space-y-4`).
- [x] Confirm diagram is contained (rounded border), not full-bleed.
- [x] Add a Pipelines destination (or use a project that has one): Usage
appears; table still works; search “no results” still works.
- [ ] Open **Add destination**: title “Add destination”; Type helper
under the dropdown; Read Replica has no local warning; Pipelines type
shows local warning without hiding fields (when ETL isn’t set up
locally).
- [ ] Without Pipelines access: request-access panel shows “alpha” copy
and “Request alpha access”.
- [ ] Spot-check dark/light themes.

Follow-up to #48344: collapses the two resolution paths for the
Admonition module into one.
`src/admonition.tsx` was a back-compat shim re-exporting
`src/Admonition/`. Two ways to resolve one module is exactly what
produced the macOS self-import bug fixed in #48344, and the local
typecheck errors that #48374 worked around. This removes the shim and
standardizes on the PascalCase subpath, matching every other export in
the package.
**Changed:**
- Codemodded all 246 `ui-patterns/admonition` imports to
`ui-patterns/Admonition` (240 `.tsx`, 5 `.mdx`, 1 `.ts` across studio,
docs, www, design-system, and lite-studio)
- Pointed the 5 internal `'../admonition'` imports back at the
`'../Admonition'` directory
**Removed:**
- `packages/ui-patterns/src/admonition.tsx`, and its `./admonition`
entry in the exports map (regenerated with `pnpm gen:exports`)
## To test
- `grep -r "ui-patterns/admonition" --include='*.ts*'` → no hits
- `pnpm test:case-hazards` → passes
- `pnpm typecheck` → all 15 tasks green
- `pnpm --filter studio run lint:ratchet` → passes
- `pnpm --filter ui-patterns vitest run src/Admonition` → 11 tests pass
<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit
* **Bug Fixes**
* Standardized Admonition component imports across the application and
documentation.
* Improved compatibility with case-sensitive environments by using the
canonical component path.
* Removed the legacy Admonition import entry point.

Adds ClickHouse as a replication destination type in Studio.
- New ClickHouse option in the destination type selector, gated behind
the
`etlEnableClickHousePrivateAlpha` organization feature flag (off by
default).
- ClickHouse settings form: URL, user, password (optional), database,
and
- Client-side URL validation requires HTTPS and rejects URLs targeting
internal addresses (loopback, RFC 1918, link-local, CGNAT, IPv6
loopback/link-local/ULA, and IPv4-mapped/NAT64 forms). Server-side
validation remains authoritative.

- Introduced a ClickHouse destination form with fields for URL, user,
optional password (masked toggle), database, and engine selection.
- Added ClickHouse destination config handling for create/update flows,
with normalization and engine support.

## Problem
We now export components under a subpath in ui-patterns to avoid barrel
files as they slow down every tools (from IDE to linters, etc.) and may
also affect bundles our users have to download.
## Solution
- Remove the UI patterns index file
- Fix invalid impors
**Stack 1/6** of the TanStack Start migration (#46424), split into
reviewable, independently-mergeable PRs.
> [!IMPORTANT]
> **Next stays the default and only active framework after this PR.**
This wires up the Vite/TanStack-Start build pipeline behind the
`STUDIO_FRAMEWORK` flag, but there are no TanStack routes yet — so the
TanStack build isn't functional or tested until later PRs in the stack.
Nothing about the Next build, dev, or deploy changes behaviourally here.
## What's in this PR
- **Dispatch:** `dev`/`build`/`start` now go through
`scripts/dispatch.js`, which runs the Next variant unless
`STUDIO_FRAMEWORK=tanstack`. The original commands are preserved as
`dev:next`/`build:next`/`start:next`.
- **Build pipeline:** `vite.config.ts`, `serve.js`, `smoke-server.mjs`,
vite/tanstack deps, `turbo.jsonc`.
- **`tsconfig.json`:** `jsx: react-jsx`, `moduleResolution: Bundler`,
`target: ES2022`. Because `include` is `**/*.ts(x)`, this re-typechecks
the whole app, so the companion adaptations below land with it.
- **Shared adaptations (companions to the tsconfig change):**
`BufferSource` casts, `packages/ui` unused-`React` import removals, etc.
- **Routing/middleware plumbing:** `next.config.ts` +
`redirects.shared.ts` (redirect rules now shared with `vercel.ts`),
`proxy.ts`/`start.ts` middleware + `hosted-api-allowlist.ts`.
## Verification
Run locally off `master`: frozen install ✓, `studio` typecheck ✓, **Next
build ✓** (compiles + generates all routes), lint ratchet ✓ ("some rules
improved"), prettier ✓.

## Context
> [!IMPORTANT]
> Changes in this PR only apply to the local environment - there should
not be any changes to staging (nor production)
Given that read replicas currently sit under database replication, the
UI currently waits for replication destinations to load before rendering
the page. However for local development, setting up of the ETL API isn't
necessary nor applicable for everyone so this indirectly adds friction
if we just want to work with read replicas.
## Changes involved
- Opting to skip retrying fetching ETL related requests if the error
returned is "replication API URL is not configured"
- This is indicative that the local platform isn't set up for ETL yet
- ^ Database replication page will hence not wait for ETL requests to
succeed before finally rendering the UI
- Node diagram will also then render properly (just read replicas)
- Add a small admonition to visualize this
<img width="1079" height="301" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/32bd5d2f-a76e-417e-bedf-9a04de3bb305"
/>
## To test
- Will only be able to test locally - basically just head over to the
database replication page (unless you somehow already have ETL API set
up locally)
- But can also verify that there's no changes on staging preview

## Problem
Our `<Button>` component breaks the default `button` contract by
redefining the `type` prop to set its variant (`primary`, `default`,
etc) instead of the button type (`submit`, `button`, etc).
This is confusing and forces to write more code when using it with
shadcn components that expect/inject the standard button props.
## Solution
- rename the `type` prop to `variant`
- rename the `htmlType` prop to `type`
- propagate the changes where necessary
- format code
## How to test
As this is just prop renaming, if it builds it's ok

This PR improves the replication UI in the following ways:
- Adds a new selecion picker for destinations which is split by the
destination location and it's clearer and can scale more when we add
more destinations.
- Adds a much improved section on lag, highlighting new metrics that
could help debug issues more easily.
- Improves the copy across the whole code.
- Fixes the 2d topological view of replication with better status
handling.

## Details of change
Adds Snowflake to the Studio replication destination flow:
- destination selection and display
- create/edit form fields
- validate/create/update payload serialization
- generated Platform API types
Snowflake remains gated behind `etlEnableSnowflakePrivateAlpha`.
**Note:** I have configured `etlEnableSnowflakePrivateAlpha` in
ConfigCat ("all" in staging and tied to my own org id in prod).
## Details of Verification Process
- Studio focused Vitest coverage for form serialization and diagram
mapping
- Studio typecheck
- ESLint on changed Studio replication files
- Local `mise fullstack:dev` smoke test to confirm the Snowflake form
renders ok.

Full create/validate E2E depends on the Platform PR and ETL runtime
rollout.
## Review Requests
Please check the Snowflake wire payload matches the Platform/ETL
contract and that gating/edit/display behavior follows the existing ETL
destination patterns.

## Summary
Wires the existing `list-page.*` shortcuts up to the Database →
Replication and Database → Migrations pages, so they get the same hotkey
behavior as Roles, Tables, Publications, etc. No new shortcut IDs were
added.
**Migrations page**
- Shift+F → focus the migration search input (label: "Search
migrations")
- F C → clear the search filter
**Replication / Destinations page**
- Shift+F → focus the destinations filter input (label: "Search
destinations")
- F C → clear the filter
- Shift+N → open the Add Destination panel. Wrapped with `<Shortcut>` so
the keybind tooltip shows on hover, and gated on
`!!newDestinationDefaultType` so it stays disabled when no destination
type is available.
Closes
[FE-3141](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/FE-3141/add-shortcuts-for-database-replication-and-migration-page).
## Test plan
- [x] On the Migrations page, press Shift+F → search input focuses &
selects existing text.
- [x] On the Migrations page, type a query then press F C → search
clears.
- [x] On the Replication page, press Shift+F → filter input focuses &
selects.
- [x] On the Replication page, press Shift+N → Add Destination panel
opens (when a destination type is available).
- [x] Hover the "Add destination" button → keybind tooltip shows
Shift+N.
- [x] On the Replication page, type a filter then press F C → filter
clears.
- [x] All four shortcuts appear in Cmd+K under "Shortcuts" while on the
respective page.
- [ ] Disabling list-page shortcuts in Preferences disables them on
these pages too.

This PR fixes some prettier issues:
- Bump and unify all prettier versions to 3.7.3 across teh whole repo
- Bump the SQL prettier plugin
- When running `test:prettier`, check `mdx` files also
- Run the new prettier format on all files

## Context
Small one - while on the database replication page, if you open the
Connect Dialog and change the "type" field, the destination panel opens
up. Happening cause the string for `useQueryState` conflicts here - both
are using `type`
Fix is just to update the string for `useQueryState` for the
DestinationPanel component, changed it to `destinationType`
## Context
Just cleaning up the `unifiedReplication` feature flag now that this is
fully rolled out
Also addresses some bugs that I came across while cleaning up,
specifically for the new home page
- Add enabled features flag check for read replicas in database
replication
- Infra diagram, read replicas
- View connection string CTA to open connect UI with the right database
selected
- Replaced all other actions with a "Manage replica" CTA which links to
the replica details page
## Context
Related to unifying read replicas into database replication page which
is currently in internal testing
## Changes involved
- Updates the "New replica" CTA in `DatabaseSelector` (e.g within the
SQL Editor) to link to the replication page instead of settings
infrastructure
- Refactor replication UI to use URL query states for new destination +
edit destination
## To test
- [ ] Verify that the "New replica" CTA links correctly to replication
page if flag is on
- [ ] Verify that new + edit destination UI works as expected
- Note that there's some server side validation for ETL replication now
so might be tricky to test creating an actual ETL replication
- Minimally can test creating a read replica and ensure that the UI
behaviour is all as expected
